I’m not dead I swear. Long winded nonsense under the cut.

I know I said I would return here and whatnot....but that was months ago. I thought I had muse back, but boy was I wrong. So many familiar faces are gone, and I felt rather disassociated with the fandom. It honestly made me sad when I realized almost everyone I wrote with had left this particular fandom.

But I realized something. People move on. Interests change. Of course no one is going to stay here forever. Yeah, it’s kinda sad, but only because I had so much fun writing with everyone! I’ve laughed, cried, even screamed in response to certain thread replies before. This fandom is what made me love roleplaying again, and I am forever grateful for it. Roleplay even led me to gain an amazing and super close friend in the DBZ fandom. (...who also happens to me moving in with me for a while this Saturday. alakahsflh)

But since this blog is just too weighty now, with so many dead accounts in my followers and threads and relationships I’ll never continue, I’m archiving this blog. I won’t delete it,  because sometimes it’s fun to look back.

However! What I’m going to try is this...I’m going to try making a new blog. Fresh start. For the few still remaining that I have ships with, we can continue them, drop them, or start over. Whatever works for you.

The new blog will be low activity and more selective than I have been in the past. I have two other blogs I’m on quite a bit now, so I have to divide my time a bit. But I’m going to go back and watch and read the things that gave me this boy’s muse in the first place.

I can not guarantee this will work, I will not guarantee a full return. But I loved writing Ryuji, so I guess I’d like to try again. I will post the new blog here once I get to it. I still love y’all so much.

...Special thanks to @mxlik who literally tracked me down to one of my new blogs just to see if I was okay. It really made my entire night...considering I figured this blog had all but been forgotten along with me (not to mention that art you threw at me alskfasf new phone background tbh <3)

Hafsah grinned brightly at the male, boy it was so good talking to him again! She really missed Ryuuji, truth be told, he was one of her favorite people hands down. She laughed at his question and covered her mouth, a sly smile on her lips, “Welllll~, not as much as I used to! Haha, but in all seriousness I’ve calmed down a lot since then. I’ve officially settled down in Domino and got a job as a secretary for one of the companies here in town. Not for Kaiba Corp though, Kaiba still scares me.” 

She smiled sheepishly at that, but then relaxed, “Other than that, I’ve just been working and I got my own apartment, it’s very nice, too! I’d love to invite you over for dinner when you’re free, I just learned to cook this awesome Arabic dish and it came out amazing~!” she clasped her hands together, “I’d be super honored if you came over and tried it, I worked hard to perfect the recipe!” 

Her enthusiasm was contagious, easily chasing off most of his exhaustion from his tireless work schedule. It was so easy to fall back into conversation with her, as if the long time apart had never existed to begin with.

“Who doesn’t find Kaiba scary? Besides me of course. Dragon boy is just full of hot air. But definitely a total dick.” He chuckled a bit, no qualms about insulting the guy who owned at least half the city. It was high time he start doing that to his face again. Next business meeting.

“If you’re offering to cook for me, there is no conceivable way I could ever say no. Having a lovely lady offering me dinner is a complete honor.” His smile was completely genuine, conveying his excitement over the offer. “Give me a day and time and I promise I’ll be there. ...Oh, and an address would help. Glad to hear you’re a permanent resident here now! No excuse for us not to see each other more often now.”

“Worst holiday ever,” she grumbled and pulled the beanie from her head to fix her messy ebony hair the best she could. “Halloween and Christmas are just as busy. Thankfully, my boss knows how much I hate them, and usually only makes me work half a day. Like today, thank heavens.”

It wasn’t until she had finished redoing her loose braid and was about to put her beanie back on, when she realized her ears had been exposed the whole time. She had been so upset, she had completely forgot to keep them hidden. Though the damage was done, Eirwyn quickly pulled the beanie back over her cat ears, a soft blush creeping over her face in embarrassment. “Oh dear…”

What laughter he had been carrying was quick to shift to more of an awed silence. His eyes had immediately been drawn to her head and of course, the curious ears atop it. They certainly didn’t look fake considering how they moved as she adjusted her hair.

Even once she had her hat back on, he was still caught in a short bout of silence. Then he started laughing. “After everything I’ve been through in my life, I’m not even surprised by things like this anymore!” It was more a statement to himself, incredulous that he was so unfazed by this sudden discovery. Once he takes a second to shake his head, he’s smiling at her again, one finger to his lips. “Your secret is safe with me.”

“And what would you like in return, hmm? Name it and it’s yours...” There is an undeniable purr in his voice, his grin matching hers. It seemed that every once in a while something could come along on this annoyance of a day to make it just a bit brighter.

Malik was unable to be around for Ryuji's birthday, but with determination to make up for it he had a bespoke golden promise ring, engraved with the arabic quote ❛ and if they made me choose, I would choose to love you once more. ❜ made especially for his King. He'd also booked a week holiday in a secluded cabin where the two of them could be alone and at peace, with no cell phones or internet so you can forget that sneaky work Mister, because you'll be needing lots of energy ;D

Oh.

Right. His birthday. That would explain the ungodly number of cards and confections he had been ignoring for the bast week. There were far too many things going on at once for him to have been paying any mind.

Quite suddenly the date was something he became aware of. It was almost disorienting realizing one of his biggest deadlines in years had fallen on his birthday. Coming down from the stress filled high had left him exhausted and ready to shut down for a month.

This gift came at the perfect time. It’s unbelievably sweet, by far the most thoughtful and sentimental thing he had ever been given. It made his heart skip a beat, an odd wave of tingling nerves breaking over his entire body. It was like the static he felt when his muscles went numb from sitting too long, but with a radiating warmth that made him want to melt. It was a wellspring of emotions, almost enough to draw tears from his eyes.

With what little energy he could draw forth after the last sleepless week, he held back those threatening drops of salty water. His expression still says it all, a warm smile stretched wide across his face.

“I really don’t deserve you...”

“You hate valentines...? Perhaps, I shouldn’t worry about giving you this box, then.” She holds the box in front of her nose and mouth, smirking behind her glasses. “Too bad...”

“Now, now. Hate is an awfully strong word. More an inconvenience. But if it’s coming from you...” He grins, easily seeing through her little game and stepping a bit closer. “I can make an exception and find a bit of enjoyment in the day..”

But thank you so much asklhasklh this is so sweet. I know I haven’t been keeping up here like I should and I do apologize for that. I really need to get back here more often and get this boys muse going again.

I know a lot of people I used to write with regularly have moved on, so I’m not sure I could even come up with 10 anymore. So let me just say, to those still here and to any new faces, I love you. This fandom was my first introduction to the Tumblr RPC and I’m still so grateful for how wonderful everyone is and has been. Thank you a million times over. For all the smiles, all the laughs, and even all the angsty heartbreak. It truly has been an amazing ride. <3

Eirwyn lets out a huff and brushes flour from her clothes. "Try making cakes, and cookies and all sorts of other treats that are covered in hearts and roses. And let's not forget the 'Be Mines' and 'I love yous.'" She grumbles and tries to get as much flour and frosting from her hair. "You wouldn't believe how many custom 'Marry Me?' things I have to do."

“Sounds rough, honestly.” He was actually quite sympathetic toward the state she was in. The holiday was no favorite of his either seeing as he was often the recipient of a lot of those confectionery treats. He didn’t even care for sweets that much.

“At least the day is just about over, right? I know last minute gifts are a thing, but if anyone is this late, they’ve got to be doing it wrong.” A small sort of laugh came with that, hoping his attempt at humor would brighten her mood a bit.

“Hehe, you’re making me so flustered right now, oh my goodness! Thank you~! Wow, it’s been a while since we last chatted, huh Ryuuji? How have ya been, what’s new~?” 

Hafsah slid up to him with a smile, her hands behind her back and her bright green eyes half lidded as she lightly bumped his hip with her own. Boy, every time she had seen him he always managed to take her breath away without intending it! She truly found Otogi Ryuuji fascinating.

It was hard not to chuckle at her response. Even after so long, he still found his ability to make her smile something to enjoy. It was almost as if no time had passed between them at all with how effortlessly they fell into conversation, no awkwardness to be found.

“Busy as usual,” he responded with a flash of a smile. “Been spending a lot of time overseas working with my team in America. Hired some new designers that show serious promise.” He gave a slight shrug. “But hearing about all that boring work stuff can’t be much fun. What about you? Get into any trouble since i last saw you?”

“Look at all those happy couples, fawning over each other. Disgusting.”

“Wow, strong feelings about that one, huh?” There was a fair amount of laughter mixed with his words at the sudden tone shift. “I mean, don’t get me wrong. My feelings are just about the same. Never been a fan of this holiday. Just another reason for girls to be even more noisy.” After so many years of dealing with fangirls, Valentines day had become more a hazard for him than anything.
