SOPHIE and Arca really have taught me alot. they synthesize sounds no one has heard before. their music in the embodiment of their beings. SOPHIE is immaterial and Arca is nonbinary. “i can be anything i want”, “i dont even have to explain, just leave me alone now”. chasing the joy of being a child and just existing before colonial concepts were forced upon you. i know it’s a very obvious point, but i would like to make art that embodies my search for freedom like they do.
