And again it was here, the immense happiness and friendliness that the elf radiated was still so difficult to understand for Loki. To describe this personality, the Aesir could almost claim that Arvor reminded him of Thor, friendly, positive, and in the true sense, a sunshine. But the prince was much more than the sunshine of brother Loki had, he was much more. The god could assume that he and the blond are not much older visually, but that was probably because elves stopped changing at a certain age. They had no illness, no aging, no death. A blessed life at certain times. Loki enjoyed this generosity, even if it scared him a bit. Arvor's response that no one here in this country would do such a bad thing made his smile vanish for a moment. The elf was as friendly as if he had never experienced misery and suffering in his long life. Enviable. But maybe it really was, maybe Arafinwe had never been a victim of grief. Loki was not even sure if he picked up on the past things in his life, that this could have a negative and quite shocking effect on the fair-haired man. He was so naive, so inexperienced with life's hardships, and the sorcerer did not even know him. Loki had enough knowledge of how a person lives, creating a first image about his personality as if he were reading these people like a book and trying to grasp every line and word of each one correctly. Maybe it was not wrong to live optimistic and think, it keeps the mind healthy.
The smile thrown to Loki revived the faded smile of the god, but at first commented nothing on Arafinwe's words. He was this pure being of whom he could always read in the books. Untouched, blessed with pure soul and with the highest grace. Loki was simply fascinated because everything still seemed so surreal. And exactly this creature was extremely delighted to honor Loki as a guest? This really was not what the prince thought was possible to hear as everyone would normally want to get rid of him as soon as possible. Loki would just like to sit with the other man and learn more about the elves. They have inspired him since his earliest childhood.
But it was finally time to leave so Loki could see his secondary home, following the Elven prince out into the twilight of the day. This was the first time in days that Loki had the chance to get outside and look at the sky more closely, and one thing was different at once, the moon and the sun weren’t here, only glimmering sparkling objects suggesting that it was any Shape of the stars were. The light, it could not even be classified as dusk, that's not a cycle as it had sun and the days and nights harmonize differently.Loki was captivated by this spectacle for a while and did not even notice that Arvor went past him unnoticed and kept going on without the other male. If the opportunity arose, Loki could spend all those hours outside, if he could be alone. He would love to inquire about his new environment, since everything seems so out of this world, so surreal. But after some time the Asgardian noticed that the elf was running without him and hurried after him back at his side and enjoyed a short walk.
When both finally reached the mentioned hut, Loki inspected them more closely. She was small but not too small. She was comfortably furnished, quiet. This could be a really suitable retreat for a few moments. Maybe the trickster could own a bit more to arrange his interior more for his comfort. Even though he sometimes preferred being alone, the more he needed employment as well. But even here was not enough time to look at everything as Loki noticed that Arvor already prepared tea and cake and served on the next table. It surprised the god to expect some cake, but to be honest everything here might surprise him what would happen to him here. He sat down at Arafinwe's table and accepted the cake and cup of tea. He did not have much appetite at the moment and first took the tea in his hand and took it to him, he would later try the pastry.
When the prince took the first sip, he briefly set the cup down and enjoyed the strange but sweet taste. He did not know this taste, these leaves to brew, but it tasted very good. Loki had a great liking for tea, even made his own when he walked in the garden in Asgard and collected leaves or even fruits. Traditional Asgard tea was always so bitter to him, so Loki always made his own creation. “I like the tea ...” the younger complimented in a softer voice and smiled slightly before hearing the question from the curious elf.
“Oh my, how can I explain this without you blaming me for being mentally ill.” Loki said with a small laugh and put down the cup, stared at it for a moment, playing with the material that made it and patting his fingernails against it. “You're right, I'm not one of you and no mortal, so no human. I'm not sure if you can relate to the term ‘God’. I come from a world called Asgard, also called the Allrealm. A wide, quite different world than this one. My universe is made up of nine other realms, one of which even houses elves .. I mean Eldar like you. In my world exist two deities, the Aesir and the Vana. Aesir are the war gods, warriors and fighters and they live in the palace of Asgard. My father and King and ruler is Odin, the Allfather and the god-father of all of us. My brother, Thor, is known there as the god of thunder and a prince, as I am. My mother is a Vana. They are deities of the hearth-fire and agriculture and are attributed to them characteristics such as fertility, earthiness and prosperity. Odin married my mother Frigga and she received the title of Queen, goddess and patron of marriage and motherhood. That's why she is the known Allmother. From everyone in my folk. As for me...” Loki explained but paused for a moment to find the right words. His titles are less expensive, rather pejorative. He did not want to confuse the prince in front of him.
“I am the well-known prince of pranks, god of illusions. I tend to trick people. I did a lot of mischief in my youth. My rather nicer titles apply to storytelling and .. magic. My mother taught me the gift of magic and mastered some skills.” the blackhaired raised his hand and showed his palm to Arvor before a small green flame graced his skin. “Fire, illusions, mirages shapeshifting. There is nothing that I can not control in any way.”
