The main motivation behind the guideline is the recent increase in piracy of my games and individuals taking my games apart and uploading the entire ripped asset folder to sites/servers for the public to download. You should be good if you only have been using my assets to create non-commercial fanart/edits instead of distributing my original assets to other people, but do read the document for more details and use it as the official guide if you have any specific concerns.

Hi all, recently I have noticed an increase in actions of copyright infringement related to my games. While I’m sure most of them are not ill-intended, I’d like to quickly remind everyone that direct upload or hosting of my original game assets is forbidden, including mass reupload of in-game sprites and art. I think oftentimes, players forget that these are not just assets but my art as well. Similar to most artists, I do not enjoy seeing my work being uploaded and redistributed without my consent. A more detailed guideline will be published in the future whenever it is ready. If you see any instances of unauthorized reupload, please consider helping me out a bit by reminding them nicely of my policies. Thank you all for your understanding!
