Harper Lee — a life in pictures

Nelle Harper Lee, author of Pulitzer prize-winning book To Kill A Mockingbird, has died aged 89. Born in Monroeville, Alabama, she was famously reclusive, and few photographs of her have emerged over the years. To see some of the few that have, visit The Guardian.
