Being in a relationship with the Eric Sohn is honestly amazing aside from the part that you have to keep that relationship a secret . This last year was absolutely beautiful with him. He was funny and caring, he honestly has everything every girl wants.
Two months ago things started getting worse for you and Eric. His schedule didnât match with yours, you were both overworked and honestly broke down on each other which lead to a lot of arguments.
Obviously you still had feelings for him. Those arguments didnât take away your love for Eric. The only person who was by your side when those arguments happened was Sunwoo. He knew every argument with Eric broke your heart a little. He tried his best cheering you up. He even got mad at Eric for being inconsiderate about your feelings.
Sunwoo had feelings for you ever since you and Eric got together. Of course he had to respect your relationship and tried everything to get you off his mind. âOut of sight out of mindâ he was saying to himself almost every single night thatâs why he was also avoiding you for months.
When things between you and Eric got bad thatâs when he got close to you again making sure youâre feeling okay and better by his side
Eric knew about Sunwooâs feelings. It was too obvious for him. He knew his best friend and he knew he was looking at his girlfriend with such admiration and affection. He wasnât mad after a couple of months. He knew Sunwoo wouldnât ruin his relationship with you.
Now you were getting ready for a business trip in Paris as your friend Sunwoo invited you to the Amiri fashion show. He thought you should get your mind off of Eric and your relationship problems and relax a little bit
Honestly you were very excited to have a weekend off with a friend. As much as you loved Eric you agreed to give each other a little bit more space and time. Thatâs why you suggested he visits LA for the weekend. See his family and his friends. You hoped that after those trips you would both feel better and your relationship would be saved.
Packing your backpack now you heard your manager calling for you to get in the car. You were meeting Sunwoo at the airport.
The drive to the airport seemed very short. Maybe because all you could think about was Eric. Is he feeling okay? Is he going to miss you these two days? You couldnât even take a break from yourself
As you stepped out of the car flashing lights woke you up from your thoughts and you started waving and smiling at all those paparazzi who were asking you a tons of questions you avoided answering.
Once you stepped inside you saw Sunwoo standing close to the announcement boards searching for his flight âhey thereâ he said turning around and giving you a small smile. You returned the smile and greated him shortly.
It didnât take too long to board. Sunwoo making small talk with you also helped you get your mind off. Especially when he was looking up certain words in French and tried to copy the accent failing miserably.
Once you landed in France you agreed to meet Sunwoo at the hotel so the paparazzi wouldnât see you two together.
Your manager and staff helped you find your bags and immediately got back in the job as you were again waving and smiling at the flashing lights. This time walking a bit faster to get in the car and get to the hotel as soon as possible.
France was so beautiful. Your hotel was in the middle of Paris. Your view was insane. You could see the Eiffel Tower and almost the whole park underneath. It was so pretty. You could see so many bushes with red and pink roses around the park. It actually made you feel much better, I guess sunwoo was right.
As you were admiring the view from your hotel room, Paris by Sabrina Carpenter started playing. A notification made you look down at your phone
âCan I come over?â Sunwoo. You smiled to the text feeling overwhelmed by the prettiest view you had ever seen
âYeah Iâm in 342â you replied and threw my phone on the bed letting the song continue and waited for him to knock.
He came pretty fast and knocked on your door twice before you could answer it.
âFeeling comfortable?â He smiled as he asked. He was wearing grey sweatpants and a black tight T-shirt which distracted you a little bit not knowing why. You smiled back âvery comfortable. Thank you for the invitation Iâm already feeling betterâ you said making eye contact now
âNo problem, you needed a little trip. Oh I got you somethingâ he said and raised his eyebrows as he had forgotten about it. Your eyebrows furrowed feeling a little surprised at the sudden move. He ran back to his room which was 3 or 4 doors away from yours. He came back with a single pink rose wrapped in some brown paper. As you looked at the rose in pure shock he smiled at the sight of you. Sunwoo found you very cute at this moment.
âThere was someone selling roses outside of the hotel. I just saw the pink one and I knew youâd love it soâ he said shrugging his shoulders too a little bit feeling a little embarrassed at the show of emotion.
You took the rose from his hands and hugged him tightly. At first a hug seemed too sudden for Sunwoo but quickly gave in to your touch. Even though you couldnât see him he was looking at empty space like a small puppy.
âI was just know looking at all those roses through the windowâ you said smiling so widely at him
You grabbed his hand to lead him to the balcony where you were watching probably the best view of Paris.
âLook at that view. I couldnât be happier right nowâ you said looking at the sky. The sun was out, the weather was amazing. There were a lot of flowers around Paris and the colors were so vivid you couldnât help but smile
Sunwoo was looking at you the entire time smiling to himself after seeing you look so happy after months of tears and pain.
âYeah itâs very beautifulâ his eyes still on you. You didnât even realize he was talking about you. You could say you were a little naive right? You finally looked back at Sunwoo but this time his gaze shifted to the view standing in the same balcony as you.
You never noticed Sunwoo was that beautiful up close. His tanned skin and pretty lips. How come you havenât noticed that before ? You found yourself staring at his lips. Was sunwoo really that beautiful when you first met him? You could feel your heartbeat getting faster for some reason like you could hear your heart beating.
His side profile was also angelic. That black t shirt fitted him almost like skin. âIt really suited his body typeâ you thought.
But what were you doing honestly? Isnât that a little weird? Heâs your friend, and you already have love in LA. Not that you felt something about Sunwoo, you two were friends.
Your own thoughts made you a little uncomfortable around Sunwoo now.
âLetâs meet later tonight, I want to showerâ you said a little bit fast out of the blue. Sunwoo turned around to face you and nodded as he gave you a small smile.
âText me whenever youâre readyâ he said and closed the door behind him. Your back on the door now you left out a breath you didnât know you were holding.
What was all that? Should you contact Eric? You have a boyfriend you very much love and you and Sunwoo are just friends.
But no, you could call Eric. You had to give him space.
You took a big breath and decided to actually shower and relax a little bit. Even in the shower when you closed your eyes you were thinking about how beautiful Sunwoo looked under the almost pink sky.
To get your mind off you decided to play some music and focus on the lyrics only.
The shower actually helped you and you came to the conclusion that it wasnât anything serious. Your friend was just insanely good looking, thereâs nothing wrong with finding him attractive right? Absolutely not.
You opened your phone to find new messages from Sunwoo âCome over at my room when youâre done. 346â you simply liked the message and started to get dressed.
You went for something casual as black sweatpants and a white shirt that actually belonged to Eric.
You walked over to his room and without even knocking he opened the door making your eyebrows furrow once again
âI heard your footstepsâ he said and laughed a little as you stepped inside.
He actually had a great view from his balcony as well. He had ordered red wine. His room smelted like smoke.
âAre you still smoking?â You asked him as he was walking to the balcony
âMaybeâ he turned around to give you a little teasing smile
âDidnât you say youâd quit?â You crossed your hands now following him to his balcony
âDidnât you say the same thing? Take one if you want.â He said handing me the package now. Truth be told, you were smoking but tried to quit so hard.
The package in your hands, you couldnât help it. You got a cigarette out, at the end of the day you felt like you needed one after everything going on in your life.
You knew Sunwoo was the only friend of yours who didnât judge you for smoking.
The sun has now set. You and Sunwoo sitting down at the balcony floor smoking. No one said a word. You sometimes would glance at him you didnât expect to get caught but you did
âAm I that handsome?â He joked giving a little smirk and making eye contact with you
âMaybeâ you said not cracking even a smile in response. It really seemed like you meant it. Sunwooâs smile faded a little and he maintained eye contact with you.
You couldnât help but stare at him the same way he had been staring at you all this time.
Sunwooâs eyes shifted from your eyes to your lips and there it was again. You could hear your heartbeat getting faster once again. How do you make it stop? You had to make it stop.
As you were busy staring at him, Sunwoo noticed that your cigarette was burning down. He came closer to take the now dead cigarette off your hand and placed his own cigarette on your lips with his other hand.
His eyes were focusing on your lips as you thought your heart would jump out of your body.
You could feel how his saliva got the end of the cigarette wet. Taking a puff from his cigarette he removed it from your mouth and placed it on his again.
He broke eye contact and tried to calm down his heartbeat as well. Things got a little awkward after this as you two were looking away from each other, no one speaking and breaking the silence first.
You heard your phone ring. The time on your phone was 2 am at the moment. You didnât even notice how late it was. Itâs Eric. You picked up the phone feeling a bit bad answering Ericâs phone call infront of Sunwoo.
âHello?â You said answering the call
âBabe, I know we said we should get some time but I just called to tell you I missed youâ Eric said and you could hear him smiling through the phone.
âI missed you too so muchâ you said in response as you noticed Sunwoo looking away and letting out a sigh
âIsnât it late? How come youâre not sleeping?â Eric asked again
âOh well I got busy unpacking and then enjoyed the view of Paris a littleâ
You replied dryly. You couldnât help it when you have noticed the tension between you and Sunwoo before.
âAre you feeling okay princess? Youâre sounding very weirdâ Eric said again. He really loves you and you love him too. You love him so much
âIâm just very tired. Iâll probably go to sleep soonâ you said trying to sound a bit more confident now
âMm okay, good night then, I love youâ he said. The âI love youâ sounded so sincere and special to him
âI love you tooâ you said. And hanged up. You meant it. You love Eric so much you wouldnât ruin your relationship with him.
Looking back at Sunwoo he looked kind of weird you couldnât really understand. His eyes looked a bit red and puffy
âSunwoo-â you got cut off by him before you could even ask whatâs wrong
âIâm getting a little tired. You think we can see each other tomorrow again?âhe said looking away. Not even looking at you
You felt uncomfortable at the moment you simply agreed and nodded as you walked out of his room.
You spend your night in the balcony staring at the dark sky and thinking about how you were feeling.
You couldnât and wouldnât feel anything for sunwoo. It was just so romantic in Paris you couldnât help it. The city of love and the city of angels. You already have love in LA and you couldnât compare it.
