Natasha and Phil where probably the two that worried the most about Clint since he had come back from his last mission. Because Hawkeye had missed and that never had happened before. Hawkeye never misses. It was simply not possible.
Clint was trying to play it off and act like it didn'teven happen. But it clearly was getting on him and giving him a growing self-doubt.
"Phil, I'm pushing no one away. I always have been training so much and I always liked to do that alone sometimes."
"Of course," he responded. "In that case, I'm concerned and I'm here." And whether or not Clint trained alone sometimes, Phil wasn't going to let him this time. Still, perhaps a little distance. For a few minutes. Phil checked out his own equipement and set up a target at a much more reasonable distance than Clints.
