Julian looks up, sees how close Morse is to losing consciousness, and quickly takes his cheek in one hand to force his gaze away from the blood in question. It is a lot, as it so happens, and Julian's touch transfers some of it to Morse's face, which Julian is very grateful he can't currently see. "Try not to think about it. I'm handling it; you're going to be fine. Just look over my shoulder and take some deep breaths for me."

Julian's smile went softer and his eyebrows tilted together curiously. "My charm smile? And what is that?" Even if he had a smile specifically intended to be charming, why would he think it would work on Garak? Still, he had to admit that Garak was especially adorable like this, all grumpy and argumentative, and maybe that was incentive enough to feign just a little extra ignorance.

Odo blinked, then practically melted as he smiled. "I agree. I think honesty is something that should be a lot more common. I appreciate that I can count on it from you." The trust they shared was something he could truly rely on.

they had been blessed with five healthy children already and catelyn hadn't dared to dream of yet another child out of fear of being too greedy. but here she was, carrying yet another miracle. when he doesn't show her any kind of reaction at first, she worried that maybe he would not be happy about another child. a hand quickly found its way to her still flat belly as she waited.

"yes," she finally says in reply to his question. she had missed two moon bloods already when maester luwin finally confirmed to her that she was with child.

"i am very sure, my love." she reached for his hand, taking it in hers and bringing it to her stomach. finally, she had to ask the question. "how are you feeling about it?"

Odo really didn't enjoy asking for assistance from anyone, but especially specialists. They were always so patronizing. He looked almost as unhappy as he was when he said, "The Federation feels, given the ongoing tension betwen my people and them, that it would be best to confirm any and all of my findings. Which means you are here to scan the suspect and file your own report."
