Still not sure, but it might be becoming a project. If it does, two of nineteen are in the can. I’ve driven past this one about a million times, it’s a half hour outside of St. Louis. Here it is at sunset after a cold rain and grey rain shower. (at Livingston, Illinois) https://www.instagram.com/p/CL5n6sVHk9p/?igshid=4u6e7oqjmdyo
Really excited to have my Lustron project featured in the February Discover America magazine, both online and in print. There is a link in the bio if you would like to check it out. https://www.instagram.com/p/CKrvZbGHhcR/?igshid=1pip1dh2xjjrl
Got a new (to me) Crown Graphic and shot some test film yesterday. The cold grey day felt how this election and entire year has felt for so many of us! Now go vote! (at Brookfield, Illinois) https://www.instagram.com/p/CG-Nf21H32A/?igshid=gmu3nybgqur7
I’ve photographed this little stretch of abandoned road between two quarries a million times and it never gets old to me. This time with my DIY Xpan (Nimslo/Bronica 40mm that I posted a while back) on a Menards run! (at Hodgkins, Illinois) https://www.instagram.com/p/CGoXAuzH-OO/?igshid=1df69uj6bcu3z
A test shot on film of a camera doing a test shot on film...that’s some inception sh*t there yo’!! (at Brookfield, Illinois) https://www.instagram.com/p/CGJtxlJnOZm/?igshid=1hgqxxrlj66sk
Gorgeous moonset last Wednesday morning in Lake Tahoe. You can see the golden sunlight just breaking over the top of the mountain. (at Lake Tahoe, CA/NV) https://www.instagram.com/p/CE-VfyBnO0l/?igshid=1nnve31jehkv1
Shooting some quick b-roll this morning for an upcoming video about Canon tilt shift lenses and this just looked too good to pass up! https://www.instagram.com/p/CD_8vwhnFFN/?igshid=10ekzjnqsecbb
A cool and rare shot of 111 South Wacker with Wacker Drive missing. I shot this during the Wacker Drive construction which was more like a complete rebuild. The Deloitte building with its super cool lobby and spiral ceiling which is actually the parking lot ramp looks pretty cool w/out Wacker in front. When dirty cars get clean! Playing with the perfect little everyday camera in the car wash today. (at Brookfield Express Car Wash) https://www.instagram.com/p/CDVSZt2nF0h/?igshid=1n0at41irfo0q
Took the R5 to Midway Airport just before sunset tonight. Kinda looks like a Southwest ad but that’s all that was landing. I continue to absolutely love this camera. It is truly what so many of us were hoping it would be. (at Midway Airport, Chicago, Ill.) https://www.instagram.com/p/CCumaJnnJIQ/?igshid=1flbmh3rw3op7
Woke up way early to shoot the ‘postcard’ view of the Chicago Skyline from the Adler only to find everything is closed off with police cars keeping vagrant photographers from wreaking havoc in the predawn hours. So I ended up testing the new Canon #EOSR5 in an even more typical spot for some predawn/sunrise ‘touristy’ pics. I gotta say, I am REALLY liking the R5! Insane hybrid stabilization that uses both in-lens and in-camera stabilization, autofocus like nothing I’ve ever seen, with eye detect that is dead on point and files with enough resolution to choke a cat! These are a couple yuck jpgs right out of the camera shot with the RF 24-70mm except for the orange sky which was shot with the 70-200mm RF. I cannot wait to really roll up my sleeves and dig in deep with this bad boy! (at Chicago, Illinois) https://www.instagram.com/p/CCqqBHOnI-F/?igshid=1vxq8xgz5peu8
Normally a house facing the wrong direction at the wrong time under a big shady tree is a disaster for photography, but not with a porcelain enameled Lustron facing a big white house across the street. (at Decatur, Illinois) https://www.instagram.com/p/CCpe7v4HCmb/?igshid=obbe3ut4vrmi

Still under glass but looking good, the 1DX mark III makes its first public appearance at #photoplus. (at Jacob Javits Center) https://www.instagram.com/p/B4EAGaegvSM/?igshid=lz3f0wz0rqbx
Didn't plan it out this way but ended up with a shot on the train heading back to Akihabara, a bunch of shots of electronic component venders and then another shot on the train heading back to the hotel. It was grey and misty all day, just felt like a black and white day. The venders were super cool, even got got some camera building supplies! My favorite shot is my first frame of the day of the woman composing music on the train with the kids looking out the windows. (at Akihabara Tokyo Japan) https://www.instagram.com/p/B3moU8JAXkh/?igshid=1m5h5gruvcdkg
The two images in the middle were made just outside of the train station and the two sunset images were made a bit past the hotel. After walking back, the light was so clean and clear after yesterday's downpour I didn't want to stop shooting! The first image is the ornate top of the Takanawa Nihonenoki Fire Station. (at Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, Japan) https://www.instagram.com/p/B3kBNBmA_kW/?igshid=qxwhcknkurzw
