I’m looking at coverage of all these women’s marches and a white woman name Joan Walsh mentioned some black women’s disappointment with white women voting for Trump, saying “our white sisters let us down.” She mentioned the 47% of WW who did vote for Hillary to prove that statement untrue. But what gets me is that Black Women can’t sister up with each other so how we going to sister up with white women?***sigh***

We have a looooong way to go.. Oh and did I mentioned these women’s marches are a copy of the Million (Black) Women March of 1997? I learned this from Joy Reid of MSNBC.

I’ve brought this up on numerous occasions and especially recently about how I was disappointed seeing so many black women be disappointed in white women voting for Trump. The idea that so many black women put their trust, loyalty and support into white women, unconditionally, just because their women is absolutely frustrating to me. The fact that so many black women find kinship with white women, is absolutely disturbing to me, considering the fact that I and many other black women have to beg for black women to support and defend other black women.

On the other end are black women who are womanists begging black women like them to listen and form a bond with black women who are out here fighting for the rights of black women, black women’s issues, and black womanhood and they act like we told them to cut off a leg. Calling us divisive and overreacting and too angry. It’s heartbreaking seeing this.

Where’s this sisterhood when black women need it?
