Well for the summer holidays I went to Fukuoka to put on my album release party @ Kieth Flack!! (2014.08.22) , do album promotion and just party hard for a week straight!!! I went with my recently joined creative team, Dirty Right Brain…
In the last week we were lucky enough to connect with many many DJs, event organisers, shop owners, and just friendly as locals!!!
Damn„, Fukuoka has the nicest people in the world!! We got the album in to clothing shops(YOUTH/yu-ya san) and bar/cafes(TRESOL/kazuo san) around Fukuoka which is great.Thank you !!! I appreciate so much those people that were willing to put my name in their shops, so much gratitude for that!!!! Humbled!!!
We put on an epic party with amazing local DJ’s who absolutely killed it!!! Thanks so much to Kieth Flack (GAASUU & nobu) ,DJ iSOP,OSHIRIJIMA & Bambiy (The Surgical Operations), U-ma, Shunbow and Maru303!!!! You all did a superb job!!!
So much respect for you guys!!! And to all the people that rocked up, see you next time!!!!
Thank you to all the people who purchased copies of the album and clothing merchandise!!! Really feeling the love!!! Anyway aside from the music stuff we got to go to a matsuri festival, BBQ it up, check out the clubs, eat tons of local Fukuokan food and get a taste of the local culture! It was too much excitement to be packed into a little under a week, I already miss the place so much!!! Hard to put this post into words….it meant a lot!!!
