I was just talking with my wife about this. She was not born until after 76'. I remember the American Freedom Train coming into town and it was a crazy party at the Sparks Nugget. We got to go in the train, there were freaking elephants (something I had never seen before) it was just a cool vibe all the way around. I do not feel any of that with the 250th. Damned shame too, because I doubt I'll live to be 106 to see the 300th.
