am I uninformed or just old

like I keep seeing kids refer to their vests/leather jackets as “battle jackets” like ain’t that some metal shit??? that’s not our subculture……..is it?

and now all pants with patches on them are “crust pants” and like….idk man, I always called them patch pants bc 1. I ain’t a crust punk and 2. I thought crust pants were like a specific thing? not just any fucking pair of pants with a crass patch on them

have I just been stupid since 2010 or has shit changed
