We had just gone out for dinner and some drinks and she rushed through the door once we got home so she could get to the bathroom. Inevitably I grabbed her around the waist and wouldn’t let her go anywhere. Our big girl only was able to hold it 45 more seconds or so before she pissed all over the bathroom floor.

To be honest, if she were my girlfriend, I would have put her back into diapers after that incident. No pull-ups. These are made for someone who is already in potty training and has accidents now and then. But if she cannot hold her bladder for 45 seconds, she is not even close to potty training. I would be constantly worried (and probably herself, too) about her having an accident in the car, on the furniture or when out and about, I mean, sometimes bathrooms are simply not available within minutes. It would be a constant hassle for everyone, so I consider putting her back into diapers as the most practical and reasonable solution to that problem.
