Well dappers, the spring event has finally arrived and we hope the turn out will be great tomorrow! Take a look at all of the meet-ups within the event itself in order to meet some new friends or see familiar faces along the way. All of the events are merely suggestions and you are encouraged to spend the day however you please. After a few scheduling mishaps with my group, I, (with-drops-of-jupiter) will be attending the event alone to help cover the WDW side. DLR Unofficial Dapper Day Events!

Hello everyone! It's your Californian Dapper Day source here - Hayley! I thought Disneyland Tumblr Dappers might want their own event too! :)

~11am STARBUCKS AND SWING ON BUENA VISTA STREET - get yourself a little morning treat from Fiddler, Fifer and Practical Cafe then join to watch the swingin' hepcats of Five & Dime at 11:05am in front of Carthay Circle! 

~11:30am TUMBLR TOWER OF TERROR - immediately following Five & Dime, let's all ride Tower of Terror in our dapper fashion!

WDW DAPPERS: 4-5pm ISLAND ESCAPADES –

Explore jewel filled caverns, frontier forts, and other prime photo-op locations on Tom Sawyer Island. (Board the rafts near the Big Thunder Mountain. Island closes at dusk.)

Join the fashionable crowd SUNDAY FEBRUARY 24, for DAPPER DAY Spring 2013, our 3rd annual spring outing at the Magic Kingdom. 

GATHERINGS:

3pm THE LIBERTY BELLE BON VOYAGE – Meet at the boat landing in Liberty Square and we’ll all board the first departure at 3pm or after for an elegant trip (or two) around The Rivers of America on this original attraction from 1971.

4-5pm ISLAND ESCAPADES – Explore jewel filled caverns, frontier forts, and other prime photo-op locations on Tom Sawyer Island. (Board the rafts near the Big Thunder Mountain. Island closes at dusk.)

7pm THE DAPPER DERBY - Meet at Prince Charming’s Regal Carousel for a most elegant group ride!

8pm-Midnight AFTER DAPPER DRINKS at the tiki-themed Tambu Lounge in the Polynesian Resort, main building, Monorail level.

(*Our event hours and schedules are merely suggestions and we encourage you and your party to enjoy the park at your leisure.)

The Magic Kingdom will close at 8pm, (10p Extra Magic Hours for resort guests). Fireworks at 8pm (Disney park hours and schedules may change.)

9am MORNING SWING ON MAIN STREET (dancing around main street during the morning show/ with the dapper dans / or even with our own music if we can’t catch a show - letting the magic kingdom know we have arrived!)

12pm TUMBLR LUNCH AT CASEY’S with a visit to the plaza parlor for icecream after.

9:30pm DINNER AT THE BEACH for those of us younger than 21, join us after park close for dinner at the beach’s and cream soda shop, located in the beach club resort.

Dapper Day events celebrate the tradition of stepping out in style. Any elegant fashions, from vintage-inspired looks to the latest haute couture, are encouraged. Active and retired service members, please consider wearing your dress blues or service uniform to Dapper Day!

Join a fashionable crowd of thousands SUNDAY FEBRUARY 24, for DAPPER DAY Spring 2013, our 3rd annual spring outing - this time at both parks of the Disneyland Resort.

Dapper Day is not a private ticketed function or convention, but simply a day to visit the parks with other stylish guests.

GATHERINGS:

2-3p THE COLUMBIA CRUISE departing from Frontier Landing The Mark Twain Riverboat is busy this year so we’ll rough it aboard a full-scale replica of Columbia Rediviva, the first American ship to circumnavigate the globe.

4-6p THE SINGLE MINGLE - Meet other sartorially minded singles while sipping California’s finest at the upper and lower patios of the Golden Vine Winery in Disney California Adventure Park.

7p-11p THE DAPPER DERBY at the King Arthur Carrousel Gather in Fantasyland for a most elegant ride on one of 68 antique white horses. (Castle courtyard area will be closed around 8:45 in preparation for, and during the fireworks at 9:30)

10p-1a AFTER DAPPER DRINKS at Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar at the Disneyland Hotel, and Hearthstone Lounge and lobby of Disney’s Grand Californian Resort and Spa.

Disneyland is scheduled to close at 11p with fireworks at 9:30; Disney California Adventure closing at 10p.
