Summary: young-il is one of your team members. He promised to protect you and that's what he does.

Every player stood on the platform as it spun and sang a familiar childhood. You had made it to the 3rd game with the help of your group.

You held young-ils hand since he said he would protect you from now on.

Young-il was like your knight in shinning armor, He was handsome to. He was quite older than you but you didnt

The platform stopped almost causing you to fall. But young-il caught you.

"Ten players"

The lights started flickering as you held onto young-il. You looked around as other groups came to your team

"How many are with you?" Gi-hun asked player 120 (hyun-ju)

"Four" she grabbed her team.

"Hey we are five people!" Another team told gi-hun before they were grabbed by some other group.

Your group combined with 120's group was only 9

"We're running out of time!" You told gi-hun

"We need to go gi-hun" young-il grabbed 456s shoulder.

hyun-ju quickly grabbed player 044 and you all ran off the platform

"Room 44! The light green room!" Gi-hun yelled

"Light green room!" Dae-ho yelled.

Your heart was pumping as you ran with young-il hand in hand. The whole thing felt like a horror movie. It was chaos everywhere. People were getting pushed out of room, they were on the floor.

Everyone ran into the room and the door locked shut. The timer ran out and all you could hear where screams and gunshots.

You were shaking as you looked at the people in your room.

"Every person in here owes me their life!" 044 yelled.

"Oh my...you almost gave me a heartattack" jung-bae sighed, she looked at 222 and her belly. And then glanced at gi-hun

"You are here for a reason. You were draw. By destiny." 044 smiles. You looked out the window of the door and saw the dead bodies get taken out.

"Dont worry, i wont let anything happen to you" young-il reasured you.

The doors unlocked and a new round began

The music filled the room. You lookrd around, you were so anxious, your palms were sweaty and you clung onto young-il.

"Ring-a, ring-a, ring-a, ring-a,ring-a"

The music suddenly stopped

"Five players" everyone looked around. You counted quickly. It was 6 people, you looked at young-il before he quickly let go of you.

"What? What are you" you muttered.

"4 people i need 4 people!" Young-il walked away.

"Cmon we dont have a choice!" Dae-ho said and You guys ran to a room.

"Young-il!" You yelled out the little window thing trying to see if he was alone.

The doors locked and gi-hun quickly pulled you away as gunshots rung through everyones ears.

"Hes ok" jung-bae reassured you and gi-hun.

You just nodded and went to jun-hee (player 222)

"Are you ok?" You asked player 222 and she nodded "did you hurt the baby?" She shook her head.

You ran out the room once the doors were unlocked.

"Young-il! Young-il!" You shouted. And looked around

"Mr. Young-il!" Dae-ho shouted before young-il came with a smile on his face

You ran to him and hugged him

"What the fuck is wrong with you!" You pushed him

"Oh thank god!" Jung-bae hugged him and everyone smiled.

"I was worried for a second. Im glad you made it" gi-hun nodded

"People say im very friendly you know!" Young-il smiled

"Hey.. so i just realized if the next round is 6 players, we wont need an extra one!" He laughs

"Huh?" Everyone looked around confuses before jung-bae laughed

"Ohh! Becausee the baby" jung-bae explained and everyone laughed

"Oh but what if their twins!" Dae-ho laughed

You smiled and the next round started.

The rest of the rounds were a blurb.. only until the last one. All youremeber was the ladys voice shouting 2 players and young-il was dragging you to a room.

Another player yanked you off of young il. You quickly recovered and saw young-il open the door. You ran inside the room and froze at what you saw.

Young-il quickly came into the room and closed it until he realized what you saw.

"Hey! We were here first!" The man stuttered and looked at young-il.

"W-what do we" you looked at young-il until he put the man into a choke hold.

You stared and held the door closed before it locked shut. You closed your eyes when you heard a crack from the mans neck.

You mumbled something but the gunshots covered over your words.

The round was finally over.

You sat next to young-il when voting was happening. You were scared he was going to pick stay. He said he wouldnt but you didnt know if you can trust him

Your still kind of scared of how easy he killed that man

"You know...if i hadnt did what i did we wouldve been dead" young-il spoke in your ear.

"I..." you gulped slightly

"I know... you did what you had to" you nodded quickly

"I dont want you to hate me... i did what i had to." He pointed out.

"I know!" You shouted kind of. You were annoyed of the conversation

"We all have blood on our hands in here. Its fine" you snapped at him before your number was called

"Player 103" the guard spoke and you walked to the machine.

Your sweaty palm smacked the X button and put the patch on.

When it was young-ils turn he looked at you. You made an X with your hands and so did gi-hun. You prayed he would press X, and closed your eyes when you heard the button.

You waited a few seconds when you heard some cheers around you and saw him with the X patch. You let out a sigh of relief and he came to you.

The voting was finally over. Half the players voted to stay here. Once again.

You were kind of mad at 001 because you wouldnt be here if he voted X the first round.

Gi-hun made a plan to steal the guards guns and find the control room. You prayed it would work and end the games for good.

The plan was smart but would risk alot of peoples lives.

The lights were out and you were silently crying. You wiped your tears and went to young-ils bed.

"Young-il" you stood infront of his sleeping form and shook him a few times

He lets out a groan and opens his eyes "hm?"

"Okay" he nods and scoots over for you can lay near him.

You tugged on his blanket and went under it. You were making a bold move but you wrapped an arm around him and put your head on his chest.

His breathing hitched for a moment before he carresed your hair.

Lights flashed off, flickering back on and off when the platform had stopped abruptly. The singing having stopped mid-way. – “Three.” – shouted loud through the speakers. Chaos erupted when players started to grab for each other.

Shouting thundering loud as players were trying to win others over to join their little groups. Feeling knocks and bumps all over your body. Bouncing you around like a pinball.  – “Y/n!” – you heard loud making you turn your head. Dae-ho whistling loud at you to get a move on. You hadn’t noticed you had lost sight of them.

Too caught up with everything that was happening around you. Forgetting about securing your own safety. Humming loud, you jumped off the platform. Looking around for any of your remaining friends. Seeing Dae-ho run off with Jung-Bae and Jun-hee. Gasping loud, you turned around. Trying to spot the others. Looking frantically for your players. Some players bumped against your shoulder, making you stumble forwards. Losing sight of anyone you knew.

Panting loud to catch yourself before falling. Eyes locking on the timer as you lifted your head up. Heartrate spiking up. Pounding loudly in your chest. Seeing an amount of players run for the doors.- “I…I need two players!” – you said moving your two fingers up in the air. – “Two… two… please.” – repeating desperately whilst looking around. – “Please…” – begging in a softer tone. Back on the platform you saw Thanos and his friends. Forcing them to choose. The girl clearly asking the boy to come with her.

In shock you stumbled back when the boy seemed to betray the girl. The three of them started running. Nam-Gyu knocking into you, shoving you to the ground. With a loud yelp, you fell sideways. Slowly you lifted your head up, seeing a hand in sight. – “Come on.” – the girl from before said. Player 380.

You reached your hand out to her. Letting her help you up your feet. – “One player right.” – she spoke, taking your hand firmly in hers. You nodded shakingly, squeezing her hand tight. – “One! One player!” – she called out, sticking a finger up. Pulling you along with her. A boy and a girl came running over. She smiled relieved. – “Just one.” – she barely finished when they grabbed for her arms. Pulling her away from you.

“Hey!” – you called out, keeping your grip firm on her hand. – “No! no! We are with two players!” – Player 380 shouted loud, struggling against their grip. – “Come on, we are going to die!” – the girl cried out, taking a hold of your hands, ripping them apart. Hooking each an arm under her armpits, they dragged her away. Player 380 kept shouting and kicking her feet for freedom.

Leaving you standing alone. Shakingly, your gaze went to the timer. Seeing how little time you had left. Body shuddering knowing what was to come. Standing abandoned whilst a few dozen players were still arguing about reaching the right number. Slowly lowering your head, seeing how the tip of your foot was standing in a puddle of blood. One that soon would be yours too.

A surprised gasp released from your lungs when you got grabbed by both your arms. Holding you firm under your armpits. Pulling you along in a matter of seconds. Eyes on the timer, you weren’t sure if you would make it. Then before you knew it, you were being shoved inside a blue room. The door quickly shut behind them.

Shakingly you looked around at the two players in the room. Both were panting loud. – “Young-il! Gi-hun!” – you called out relieved. Relieved so much that you could cry. From excitement, you leaped at Young-il. Catching him by surprise as he quickly wrapped his arms around you so you wouldn’t drop to the ground.

“I could kiss you!” – you blurted out setting your feet back down. Gaze meeting up with Young-il’s. Seeing him take a hard swallow. – “I mean if I knew how, I would.” – you added sheepishly, running your fingers through the back of your hair.

Eyes widening briefly with shame, you turned away from him. Hugging Gi-hun as a thank you as well. – “I… I truly thought I would die out there.” – you spoke letting yourself slide exhausted down the wall. Young-il came kneeling beside you.

Keeping his expression unreadable. Moving a finger to your forehead, pressing it on. – “Keep your focus on the game Y/n.” – he responded. You nodded flustered. – “I thought you were right behind us.” – Gi-hun pitched in, looking away from the small gap. The firing of shots thundering loud.

“I…” – you began, looking between him and Young-il. – “I got trampled in the crowd. I couldn’t find you.” – you cried out with desperation that it wasn’t your fault. That you truly tried to stay close. Feeling a sudden hand on your lap, made you turn your head. – “We found you in the end.” – Young-il spoke reassuring you that you were save.

The door clicked open once more. Young-il took a hold of your arm, pulling you up to your feet. When you walked out, you felt his presence real close. Knowing his gaze was piercing through the back of your head. With a deep sigh, you stepped on the platform once more. Going through another round of mingle.

Once again the doors opened as you walked out of one with Gi-hun. Looking curiously around at who was still alive of those you knew. – “Y/n!” – you heard, making you turn your head. Dae-ho shouting out your name with his arms up in excitement. It made you smile ready to receive his hug when a figure came standing in front of you. Young-il. Staring with a stern expression down at you.

Blocking your path to Dae-ho. Dae-ho slowed down, moving a bit aside from Young-il to move his hand up as a greeting instead. Making you nod back in response. The bright lights flashed on, doors opening. Getting in motion, you started to follow the crowd back to the stairs. Young-il falling in step with you. Walking shoulder to shoulder with you.

He lowered his head to you, wanting to keep his words only for you. – “Have you truly never kissed anyone?” – he asked. Gulping loud, you stared with wide eyes forwards. Young-il curling up a smile. – “Of…of course I have.” – you responded shakingly. Gasping soft when Young-il touched your arm. – “Are you lying to me Y/n?” – he asked with a smirk. He knew enough. From your little reaction that you truly had never kissed before.

Annoyed by his taunting, you slapped him hard against his shoulder. Making him laugh. He came walking behind you on the stairs, making sure his presence was close. So close that you could almost feel his breath down your neck. – “Would you like a lesson in it?” – he suggested, making you stop briefly.

His body bumping into yours from behind. He grabbed you by your shoulders, forcing you to go forwards to not uphold the line behind him. – “Tomorrow could be your last day.” – he continued to whisper by your ear. – “Do you really wish it to be unkissed?” – helping you make the turn down the stairs.

You swallowed nervously, feeling hot. Flustered and bashful. He let go of your arms, taking a step back. Not following you this close by anymore. Exhaling deep, you wanted this vest off. Suddenly sweating at his hot request. Not sure what his intentions were. The crowd scattered around when entering the sleeping quarters. You were moving to the centre, feeling a grip on your elbow, keep you in place.

Turning back to face Young-il. – “What do you say Y/n?” – he spread out once more. – “What are you suggesting?” – you answered avoiding his gaze as it felt too intense for you. He made sure you’d meet his gaze first, before letting his gaze drift towards where the bathrooms were. Letting you know what he was meaning. He then tapped his finger against his lip. Teasing you just that bit more.

Making you stare yearningly at his lips. Yearning for something you had never experienced. He was right. Tomorrow could be your last. Do you really want it to be an unkissed life? Young-il pulled at your elbow so that you stumbled forwards against his chest. – “At lights out.” – he whispered by your ear. As quick as his grip was on you, it was released.

Walking off towards the others with a wave at them as if nothing had just occurred. As if he hadn’t just offered a tempting night to you in secret. Touching your cheeks, you felt they were burning hot. A touch of him was enough to set you on fire. Joining your friends, you came sitting on your bed. Keeping a distance from him. Unsure how much more of him your heart could handle. If you might catch up with his gaze, you weren’t sure how much of a fool you were going to make of yourself in front of everyone.

With buckling knees you crawled under the blankets. Shuddering out a breath waiting for the lights to turn off. They flashed off, making you jump out of your skin. Turning over, you pulled your knees up to your chest. Anxiously waiting the moments. Still debating if you were going to accept his invitation. Hearing soft footsteps on the platform, you knew it was him. Getting down to go towards the bathrooms to where he would be waiting for you.

Eyes shut closed, you were shuddering under the covers. Tossing and turning at what you were going to do. Unable to keep yourself from picturing him in front of you. Flashing back to the moment he was tapping his lips teasingly at you. Feeling your heart beat faster at that. An excitement rushing through you as it immediately got burning hot under the covers. Making you roll over, his face still clear in your mind. Picturing him coming closer and push those wonderous lips on yours.

He breathed soft, curling up a smile. – “Keeping me wait any longer?” – he spoke without a glance. Swallowing nervously, you were too overwhelmed to move. Young-il held his hand out to you. Shakingly you approached him, placing your hand in his.

Pulling you in front of him. Nervously, you avoided eye contact. Still wondering what you were doing here. Getting ready to be kissed for the first time by anyone. Young-il turned his head lightly. Taking an observation of you. His hands going to the zipper of your vest. Making you turn your head away when he pulled it down. It fell open at the end.

His hands finding a way underneath your jacket to your shoulders. Sliding the green jacket off your shoulders. He placed it beside him in one of the sinks. –“We’ll take it slow.” – he spoke that send a shiver of pleasure down your spine. Pressing your lips deeper into his neck. – “Again.” – he panted out as you did as you were told. Retrieving your lips to press them into his neck a bit higher. A deep sound erupting from inside of him. One that caught you off guard. – “Again.” – his voice getting husky. Your lips deepened on his neck once more.

His hands sliding down your spine. Down your lower back to your bottom. Exhaling deep, he squeezed his hands deep in your bottom. Fingers setting on your ass. Eyes widening briefly, you released your lips from his neck. Tilting your head further up to meet up with his gaze. Taking your hand, he brought it up to his cheek. Already leaning in forwards with a hunger in his eyes.

Mouth wide open as he received your lips. Letting his tongue swipe up before closing his mouth on yours. Automatically your lips copied his behaviour. Wiggling your lips a bit on him as you clamped onto him. Loud hums escaping from his mouth at each given moment. Lips opening and closing on each other to experience the fullest of each other’s mouth. His hands going down your body once more. Pressing you deeper against him as a moan slipped out.

Each of your breaths were loud and full of pleasure. Every sound of yours made him kiss you only rougher. Slipping some use of his tongue here and there. Young-il lowered his gaze, smiling foolishly. Shaking his head lightly, lifting his head up once more with a lick of his lips. Steadying his breathing, he grabbed for your green jacket. Handing it over to you. You accepted it, pressing it against your chest. – “Go.” – he nudged with his head to the doors.

“Do you really expect me to go back to sleep after this?” – you questioned. Knowing you wouldn’t be able to sleep with his touch haunting your mind. He could only smile, coming to stand up straighter. Pressing his palm against your cheek to give you a last kiss. – “Yes.” – he responded after his touch. He spun you around, giving your bottom a soft slap, sending you forwards.

Shooting him a glare over your shoulder, you went up to the doors. Leaving the bathrooms, greeted by a coolness you welcomed dearly once you entered the sleeping quarters. Quietly you went back to your bed. Immediately facing away as you couldn’t put yourself up to watching him. A few minutes later, you heard his footsteps, knowing he was going to bed as well.

Ducking down low, you hurried over across. Shots firing over your head once you came a bit in sight. Squealing loud, you dove down to your knees at Gi-hun’s side. – “Here.” – you let out, dropping the munition at his feet. – “Good, now go Y/n!” -  he ordered. You nodded turning around.

Ready to run across, keeping yourself low when bullets flew over your head, making you turn immediately back to him. – “On second thought, I think I would be saver with you.” – you responded. – “Okay.” – Gi-hun said, looking back at Jung-bae. He helped you get up, wrapping an arm around you.

“Jung-bae.” – Gi-hun whispered out. Waiting for him to look to toss him some munition. – “Where is Young-il?” – you questioned, looking nervously over your shoulder. Nothing but blue walls surrounding you. Gi-hun quirked his eyebrow up. – “Was he not back there still?” – he asked. You shook your head as you hadn’t seen him by the coloured stairs.

Gi-hun slid his arm down from you, taking your hand. Guiding it to his jacket for you to hold onto him there. Taking the piece of clothing in your hand, you squeezed it tight. Gi-hun signalling to Jung-bae to keep moving if they wished to reach the frontman’s quarters. Jung-bae nodded back, counting silently to three. He removed himself from against the wall, coming out in the open.

Shooting up the stairs as Gi-hun started running across with you. Pressing you firm against his chest when you reached the other side. – “Are you alright?” – he asked out of breath. You hummed loud in response. Jung-Bae, came at your side as well. Gi-hun started walking as Jung-bae gave you cover from behind. The three of you manoeuvred through the maze of blue walls as everything looked the same. Not even sure where you were going.

There was another opening as Gi-hun stopped, making you bump firm against him. He peeked around the corner, immediately pulling his head back at the shots being fired. – “Jung-bae.” – he said in a hushed tone. Jung-bae came closer. – “I’ll cover you.” – he said. Jung-bae nodded before rushing over to the side. Gi-hun firing shots. They both kept shooting at the pink suits hiding further up the stairs.

You covered up your ears, wanting to deafen out the shootings. Jung-bae looked in a panic at Gi-hun. – “I’m all out.” – he said, hearing his gun click at the sudden empty munition. Gi-hun searched his pockets for more. Finding nothing but empty space. Desperately he turned back to you. – “Do you have more?” – he begged.

“No.” – you cried out, shaking your head. Gi-hun swallowed hard, looking back at Jung-bae. He grabbed the walkie, calling over for assistance. Calling out that he needed more munition. There came no responses. Gi-hun fired the last of his bullets till his gun was useless as well. Frantically he looked back at you. Seeing the tears in your eyes as you knew what the outcome would be.

Gi-hun then looked back at Jung-bae who nodded in defeat. – “We’ll come out… unharmed. We surrender.” – he shouted loud. Taking your hand, he helped you up to your feet. Holding his hand, both you appeared in sight from the pink suits. Jung-bae too.

Keeping your gaze low. Jung-bae lifted his hands up as Gi-hun did the same. Pulling your hand up with his. – “We surrender.” – he repeated. Pink suits approached grabbing you each by your shoulders. Tearing Gi-hun and you apart.

Forcing you all on your knees. A few more pink suits arrived with the frontman. Gasping loud, you stared back at the black mask.
