@balans-wife Good question! For Balan I'd say he's still pretty much the same flesh-wise. Perhaps a little fuzzy which I guess is the same as his canon self. The only difference is that he's extremely fluffy all around his chest (like how moth's have it!) including parts of his arms and legs.

Lance is leaning more towards being insect-like though. So his face is more hardened and smooth to the touch. The fluffines is about the same as Balan body-wise.

In this AU I'd think that as you become a Lance, your insect qualities become more visible.

As a Balan, you'd have the antenna and probably a few other bug-like traits and mannerisms, but you really start becoming more of a bug as Lance. Hence why Lance's wings are real, and Balan's is just for show.

For Shadow Lance, I'd say that he'd REALLY look like a buggy creature!

Like they definitely get on each other's nerves all the time but I can't help but think they care and love each other given their interactions in The Balan Bouts. They're messing with each other and come off incredibly playful.

They definitely got issues, but who doesn't? XD

I can't get over just how grumpy he looks lol.

The fact that he starts singing with a 'forced smile' (Probably trying to save face) but the MOMENT the doctor points out he's stuck singing the song-

And he sounds so mad too lol like he's is not even singing the whole times at some points he's just saying it somewhat on tune.
