You said that you had Tino and Tish art btw, any chance you can share?
Sure! I need to credit Ryan McCarty for this one. Same artist who did these amazing Weekenders 'All Grown Up'!

Hi I found it’s of yt videos of flash games to this of characters profile
https://youtu.be/pTd2d0rftEg?is=OBHJVXmn-umyDo_y
Thank you so much! I believe someone was looking for this somewhere in the community, but I'm glad it's still up in the depths of YouTube, I had no idea! Also did we ever figure out why Tino's character profile has 'BORING' in it??
Q: There is actually a clip... It's called "The Weekenders being responsible for my sense of humor for 15 minutes" or something like that. And it was just brilliantly put together because I'm like, "This is me! These are all of the moments that I remember, and all of the moments that helped form my sense of humor and my identity." So I love that. Doug Langdale: Yeah, it was funny. We did the first season of the show, and they had some kind of consultants come in to figure out what we could do to increase the ratings in the second season. We had this meeting where I sat down and this person was explaining to me what was wrong with the show and said, you know, "It's too much talk, not enough action." And just was kind of going on... And in the middle of the meeting, the door opened and someone leaned into the room and said, "We just beat Pokémon!" and closed the door and went back out. I slowly turned from the door back to the person who was talking, and they were just like "...Eh." Didn't know how to go on because we had just become the number one show. I was like, "So you were saying about how we can fix the show?" And I don't know, we did make a little bit of an effort, but I mean... it was just kind of the nature of the show that it was mostly people talking. It was not a big action-y show. It was more about small moments. It wasn't about huge emotions. It was just about day-to-day dealing with ordinary stuff. I mean, the characters were all sort of like vaguely neurodivergent, although we didn't have the term at the time, because everyone working in animation was kind of vaguely neurodivergent. So a lot of this stuff, when you're a kid who doesn't quite conform to how brains are supposed to work... a lot of minor things like feel like a big deal. It was just sort of interesting to do a show where that was sort of as big as it ever got was like "Oh, I have to deal with seeing my parents together for the first time in a long time." No one was ever dying. Nothing huge or tragic was ever happening. It was a little bit subdued. In the end the show wasn't a huge success, but I think the people who liked it really liked it, and that's all you can do. [Source]
Q: Are there any moments between the two series that stick out to you? If you've had a chance to revisit it from a consumer standpoint, maybe some of the jokes that you were really proud of, or storylines that you really enjoyed from the show? Doug Langdale: I liked getting to do the episode where we finally meet Tino's dad, which was the last episode. I played Tino's dad, but I wasn't allowed to... so we just didn't tell anyone [laughs] And then as were going along, I started to feel bad because I was like, I kind of feel like I'm taking a job away from someone who needs it. So every single minor character we saw in the show, we brought back. Normally there'd be maybe six people, seven people at the most, doing all of the voices in an episode and we had twenty-five people in that episode. But that was a fun one because you know, my parents divorced when I was like three or something. So they were always apart. And from when we moved to San Diego, right before I turned ten, until when I was almost eighteen, I never saw my mother and my father in the same place. So I would go visit my dad and I would come back. But when I was in my last year of high school he worked at MIT and in the admissions department, and one of the things he would do was kind of a recruitment. He would go around to high schools and talk to potential MIT applicants. So he arranged to come to San Diego where I was living and came out right shortly before I graduated high school. It was such a surreal experience seeing my parents together, 'cause I hadn't in such a long time that I was really interested to do that episode where we saw Tino's parents sort of awkwardly interacting. And there was a dinner scene where his parents were there and also his mom's boyfriend. So it was just this sort of weird, stiff, awkward interaction. That was a fun one to get to do. [Source]
Been watching The Weekenders these past few weeks and already into season 2 now. Forgot how short this show was. Anyway this part made me laugh. Lor was always my favorite in this show. She cracks me up so much. I love the delivery of her line here and the fact her shaking the game machine to make her point made Tish have to fix her glasses. Lol

And here it is! The Weekenders fic is FINALLY out, at a whopping 13k to start! Finally, I can reveal what was probably obvious or known to anyone who was wondering: Yes, it's Tino X Tish XD
"Livin' for the Weekend (With You)" (or LFTWWU for short) will be 16 chapters, only set in weekends, and feature first person POV too! So that's neat!
This first chapter is most meant to be like an episode of the show, with the subversions (sort of) beginning to come in by the end of it! Hope you enjoy!
I posted the story! Hope you'll like it!
In case anyone is wondering, we are talking about this Tino x Tish fic written by @spongeguyandlelouchvibridankia! Thank you for letting me know! ❤️ I can't wait to read it later this evening! I'm actually planning to leave my comment on AO3. I don't remember my old account credentials, but I'll create a new one for specifically for this!
cool shoes bro
Well this is hilarious in retrospective
One gifset per episode - S04E02 'Lor's Will'
Plot: Lor fractures her kneecap after playing basketball, and she needs to get laser surgery for it come Sunday. She goes paranoid about the surgery, describing it as kind of a death sentence. Therefore, she writes a will bequeathing all her items to her loved ones... except for Tish. Trivia: Mrs. Tonitini does not appear in this episode.
The Weekenders are on Disney Plus now omg
Yesss! Still so excited for the best news of the year! ❤️
I went to the Weekenders TV tropes page to read the fanfic recs and found out two of the biggest stories feature my yet confirmed ship happening only to break up. The second one was especially heartbreaking, as they were together for two and a half full stories before it was over. To say I'm furious is an understatement. I am now even MORE motivated to write this story (which I added 1.5k to today) but first I have more SC to write today! Ashley T is going THROUGH IT
Father's Day 2026 - Tino's Dad and Tino parallels suggested by anonymous
After sitting through it a couple of times, a part of me kinda starts noticing and connecting details and small things throughout this series. And probably the biggest sticking point for me right now (and I wonder how many people notice) is how Grown Up, Best, and The Most Dangerous Weekend take on new interpretations after the show introduces us to Tino’s dad in the series finale. For instance: Tino faking complaining about his lumbago in Grown Up and him later bringing up his dad’s bad back after spinning him around in the last episode. I also feel like Tino’s dad feeling like his son sees him as boring also brings new implications to his son’s middle school reunion imagine spot in Best. (Unrelated, I also like how the series finale kinda bookends the show in its relation to Crush Test Dummies, as they’re both stories about miscommunication between two people regarding their interpretations of each other. Ironic because of how Tino was pushing Carver to talk to Lor in the show’s very first story, and in the very last story Tino and his dad have to be pushed to do a one - on - one in the series final moments.)

One gifset per episode - S04E01 'Brain Dead'
Plot: Tish finds that after she gets a B on a test, her friends no longer see her as "the brain" of their group, and so she feels pressured to adopt a new persona. Trivia: Tish sings Die Fledermaus in the shower... in German.
