you were 6 y/o, you were not mature for your age, you were forced to grown up over night

you were 8 y/o, you were not annoying and loud, you were exploring what makes you - you

you were 10 y/o, you were not too much or to needy, you were longing for connection, love and care

you were 12 y/o, you were not fat and ugly and rightfully shamed for it, your body was going through normal changes

you were 14 y/o, you were not being obnoxious and naughty, you were struggling with your mental health more than ever

you were 16 y/o, you were not a rebellious and troubled child, you were still struggling immensely and had a lot of pressure on yourself

you were 18 y/o, you were not betraying them by leaving, you were protecting yourself and trying to build a future for yourself

living with BPD is like being allergic to your own emotions - everything aches, cuts, hurts or burns.
