Anywho- funnily enough the first album I ever associated Psych with is the Caretaker. I think it really thematically fits him still and he’d like it. Atrophy would like it too but I don’t think that’s his go to instrumental.

The guy really likes Jazz or piano. But again it’s not like he wouldn’t like it. Atrophy would be able to pick apart the samples. Example; I actually think he has the 1931 version of heartache i actually have the original record myself I found it in an abandoned record book.

But I bet psych just innately knows the current caretaker version of it ; burning memory

Horror will always be southern to me though. This is true remember nightwatch horror has a Texan accent. At least in my mind.

Sorry for asking, but I just got curious enough today, to really ask you this Many times thruout the years following you I've seen that you made you oc to be Polish, any particular reason why? Are you Polish? This is /gen just me being curious

No im not Polish, the only European in me is Ukrainian and German- but I mostly just was raised with Ukrainian culture.

It’s because his lore is based off of a mythological creature that I learnt about in my European folklore studies,, the main iterations of them I’ve seen were Polish but the idea does span across different Slavic cultures. Its polish name is Żmij, and if i remember the entomology it’s just from the normal word for viper żmija unless im wrong.

There’s a few other polish dragons but I don’t know the full story for them and I don’t really want to claim it fits,, I gotta find Księga smoków polskich in its English edition because i know it has more detailed entries on the ones im more vague on but whatever,,

He’s not like an 1000% accurate rep of a Żmij but without looking at those stories i probably wouldn’t have come up with it. So I guess the crediting is making his soul polish.. i know it’s a little absurd considering he’d have no clue what Poland is he just has an innate accent.

If that’s offensive- and I am being bad then I can remove it and I’ll take the criticism. But yeah that’s my real reasoning..,
