SUMMER!

Good afternoon friends,

   I thought I would update this website with a new post from the D boiz. I’ll keep it short and sweet for you. Things are going pretty well right now, we have some new songs on the go, and we’ve had some great shows the past couple months. We have a show coming up with Clipwing, Union Stockyards and Usurper at the Park Theatre on Friday, July 24th. This show will be our last show for a while. We are gonna take the next few months off to write some new material with the intention of releasing a new EP in the Fall / Winter.    With the new songs we’ve started writing we have added a new cook to our staff, and his name is Shane Patience. We know Shane through Zach, so it’s definitely nice to have a familiar face in the band and someone we already have a friendship with. He’ll be shredding axe from now to oblivion.

Hello friends! I'm here to let everyone in on some sad news. Our guitarist / manager Florian Maier will be playing his last show with us on Dec. 28th atThe Good Will - Social Club. Flo was one of the founders of the band and has been the backbone ever since. Flo has worked countless hours on getting the band shows, promos, tours and more. We cannot thank him enough for all the his work, his fun, his talent and his friendship. Flo is moving back to his home country of Germany in the New Year and we wish him all the best and all the love possible. Please come and watch Flo destroy the stage one last time with us! We have tickets for sale, so you gotta be there! "Dank dir für die Erinnerungen. Immer schön weiter rocken!"

While we were recording our album 'Peaks / Valleys' at Rain City Recorders in Vancouver, BC, we filmed our whole experience there. Our friend Ryan at Epidrone Pictures put together a wicked mini-documentary film and we are stoked on the fin...al product. Big ups to Ryan for all the help and the editing he did for us. Just a little over a year ago we recorded our first full-length at Rain City Recorders in beautiful Vancouver, BC. We took our time but we finally found a home for it. We are beyond thrilled to announce that the album will be called ‘Peaks/Valleys’ and is going to be released on I.CORRUPT.RECORDS in Canada and Germany! We will be celebrating the release at The Park Theater in Winnipeg on Sep 13. Along for the show will be our friends in Kids & Heroes, The Ripperz, and Triggers. A couple of weeks ago we filmed a music video for our song 'Apprehensive'. It was a late night with lots of bowling and tons of fun. We'd like to give a massive shout out to Ryan (Epidrone Pictures), Cody, the 'Selkirk BP bowling team', and Rossmere Lanes for making this video happen. We had tons of fun! Hope you dig!
