I just wanted to give a sincere thank you to everyone that took part in making this game come to life, I’ve been a fan of homestuck since I was 14 years old and it’s something I’ve held near and dear to my heart and I’m just now at 24 going back in and reading everything and playing your game gave me the same excitement and just awe that the comic did and I’m so grateful everyone came together to make this amazing game. Haha I’m being a bit rambly but much love to all of you <3

I feel like this is one of the saddest Ancestor-based things for Homestuck. You have character designs already set up, and then simply ignore them aside from a few characters. You take what should be basic character ideas and twist them until they make no sense. I'm sorry this isn't necessarily a very positive message but I really wanted to like this Fansim and I just can't. Maybe that's just me.

The good thing is, you don't have to like it! In fact, I would say if you don't like it you should find things you do like instead. Take control of your life, resist the carnal temptation to look at things that make you feel sad. Please don't use our game to torture yourself, that would make ME sad.

Following canon (both in designs and in story) is up to each developer whether they want to follow to the letter or not. Speaking for myself (Quinn, hello there! :) ) I designed Dualscar feeling like his original design was boring and one-note. However I don't think I properly represent other artists who took braver leaps of design, so there's that. I think each artist has added things that are interesting and, yes, including things that weren't there before--which is why these are DistantQuest ancestors, not any others. Each artist made what spoke to them--for some the canon design spoke to them as the best thing to put out there, and that's awesome too, because they're still that artist's design.

To me, the question I have in return is "Why do they have to look canon?" If your answer to that is that it's bad character design for an indie, unaffiliated, unpayed, and free-to-play passion project to do whatever it wants, then I don't think this is the game for you, because I think making new stuff rocks. But you're welcome to look elsewhere while we have fun.

I have no idea! So I can't argue one way or another, but most of not all of our team thought about Pyra as 'dragon mom'.

There could be pages stated otherwise but I Wasn't in a position to triple check.

Did yall forget Pyralspite is a dude when you made Summoner's route? While it seems lusii choose grubs that match their gender, Pyralspite was clearly a male. Terezi made that very clear.
