About this idea that there necessarily exists a best, romantic partner for every person in the world, somewhere out there. There are billions of people out there and you will only meet a fraction of them, and to me the likelihood that you’ll ever meet a person that will make you that happy is infinitesimal. There’s a very small chance. If you really consider the idea that, that person is out there, exist and is walking, eating their breakfast cereal, looking all cute. & the notion that you’ll never know each other, made me really sad. & this song was me dedicating something to whoever that person is.”
