Hazbin Hotel Domestic Headcanons
Charlie learned Spanish lullabies to sing to Vaggie when she’s having trouble sleeping, when thinking about her death.
Angel died in a closed off area, so when he’s feeling uneasy at night, he’d go to the main lobby or any other common area of the hotel so the others can find him easily. Often he’d fall asleep there, and that’s when a night owl like Alastor or Husk would put a blanket on him.
Niffty is aware of Baxter’s need for privacy so she will often place a ribbon in front of his door as a sort of “caution tape” to tell others to keep out when he’s doing his experiments
When Husk is noticeably having a drink by himself at the bar, Alastor will stop by to chat and drink with him even if he had more interesting things to attend to
Movie nights often take place at the hotel. Angel has been barred from picking pornography. Alastor and Mimzy have the same taste in movies and collaborate on picking one.
Niffty loves to show Charlie and Vaggie how to cook and bake many dishes, while Mimzy is the taste tester (bc she already knew how to make the dish and how it should taste)
Angel likes to intrude others’ rooms just to hang out unless told by someone that it makes them uncomfortable. If they don’t say that, however, he’ll be in there trying to wear their clothes better than they do and falling asleep in their covers.
He even does this in the middle of the night, after a terrible nightmare or a particularly paranoid thought. He most often goes to Charlie and Vaggie’s room, as Charlie mothers him the most.
Mimzy teaches Charlie and Angel how to be a flapper, and they end up putting on a show for the others, which Alastor does find particularly entertaining. (The sight of Charlie performing does make Vaggie blush)
Alastor and Niffty find decorations from the store or other peoples houses to stylize the decor of the hotel, sometimes dragging Husk along to help with breaking and entering
Niffty often has trouble with reaching the shelves, so Angel feels obligated to pick her up and help her get what she needs- Afterwards, he’ll put her on her shoulders and they run around the lobby, wreaking havoc.
Husk enjoys elevated places, like a cat would, so Charlie brought in her childhood hammock to install into the ceiling of his room
Although Vaggie still doesn’t trust Alastor 100% she appreciates that he made an effort to find out the music she likes. He even plays it from time to time in common areas when she’s around, even if he doesn’t like it too much.
Charlie and Alastor love to collaborate on writing and performing songs, and Alastor even helped her write a ballad for Vaggie
Crymini and Angel sometimes sneak to each other’s rooms to swap their porn collections on hard drives, just to see what the other one watches.
Alastor, Husk and Niffty continued their regular gatherings for coffee/tea but they now do so on one of the hotel’s balconies. Even though they love including the others with activities, this is the one that no one else can intrude on, as they were doing this before they even found out about the hotel.
Charlie started a spa night between the ladies at the hotel (and Angel), and though Crymini didn’t want to participate at first, she warmed up to it and started looking forward to them.
Husk lets Niffty pet him when they’re alone, as he had gotten used to her wanting to do so. When he’s tired, he doesn’t mind when she does decide to do it in public. Although he finds it a little embarrassing later on.
Baxter finds emotional and physical intimacy uncomfortable, but does small nice things around the hotel for the others, whether it be making a new, effective cleaning solution for Niffty or doing his own dishes when he finds out Vaggie was planning to do them that night.
Angel has pleaded with Husk and Alastor to let him do their makeup and after turning him down for the 800th time, they came up with a fun compromise. Husk and Alastor would try giving Angel a makeover. That way, Alastor could have the control he craves, Husk could gain a new therapeutic experience and Angel could do smth makeup related w/ his boys
Before any of them leaves the hotel, Charlie initiates a good-bye group hug. Every time. Even if they’re just picking up the mail.
