Attended a local con making this my second convention ever.
Feels like I'm still getting my sea legs but this experience let me get a better idea of what to expect from comic vendors. I had to laugh a little as I thought to include the 80's in my eras of comics to find and every vendor but one was selling silver age or graded covers.
Suffice it to say, I didn't find any comics. I did find two adorable pokemon stickers and saw a ton of Corgis. 🥰
So afterward I needed to go to my LCS and hunt their backstock. I can say I own nearly every Wonder Woman comic that's come out since the beginning of 2021. 😄 I'm three shy of this in truth.
...and I found this today at said local comic book store.
I'll figure out what I want to do at future conventions. Look for panels and such. I'm not brave enough for cosplay yet.
I'm scared of spoilers but excited to know Morph is relevant to the plot.

I ain't seen Season 2 yet but I've been hearing some stuff.
I work to take my own life seriously enough to keep it afloat despite the fact I live under a system that both convicted a dude on 34 felony counts for fraud AND allowed that same dude to parade around its highest singular office with impunity as he fires the only group that can actually prevent the very fraud he claims exists targeting him specifically.
I think about how I do genuinely believe I can make a difference in someone else's day by offering them a pleasant good morning and that truth isn't changed by events on the larger scale...but we sure AF have larger clouds of doom to worry about that no small helpful kindness is going to eliminate.
I'm not saying we give up. I AM saying this shit is fucked and we're all tired of it. We are all under reacting. We all deserve so, so much better.
This coffee only lasts so long. ☕
