Trying to paint the white bits instead of using the stickers, but my gloss medium is too shiny 😭

I also tried to replace a blue sticker, which was much trickier. I’m not the best at colour matching but! I did pretty good in the end!

It didn’t end up quite right, but it looks pretty good in photos. Just a little more white would have done it I think

I’m going to try to clean up the panel liner once my back stops hurting

Aerial Rebuild is coming on absolutely swimmingly! People are right when they say the WfM kits are really good. I haven’t had any fit issues with her (except a self inflicted one with a bad sticker placement) and the instructions are waaaaaay nicer than some of the older kits I’ve built.

All I have left is to build the weapons and panel line her, then I can do the HG Lfrith that’s sitting on my desk 👀

Hyaku-Shiki is coming along nicely after a quick early year productivity break. Not sure how to best panel line the gold pieces, I guess I’ll burn that bridge once I’ve burned it

I took a break from putting stickers on the Zaku II to start putting together this Hyaku-Shiki MG I got for Christmas! The gold plated frames are super nice, I’m getting a lot of practice in cutting undergates with this one.

When the arm is weirdly hard to build -_-

The arms and legs have cool bones that come in one piece on the runner, but then you sometimes have to disassemble the bits off of it to reassemble later. Normally this is fine but the arms each had a set of pieces that were really tough to get apart. I had to wiggle them with a craft knife, then a pair of tweezers. I’m so glad these are done!

There’s a lot I love about this kit. It’s my first RG which is cool. And I really like the frame with the full limb armatures that can bend, though they have a more limited range of motion because of it. I probably won’t get another RG for a while. Like the MG it’s quite a bit more fiddly, which is tough on my delicate fingies 😔

Luckily I have some metallic paint pens that worked even better! I ended up taking off the one sticker I did get on to replace it with paint.
