The evolution of the media has been fraught with concerns and problems. Several people complained about the poor quality that was been thrown at the media and how bias people are. Yet growth of communication technology and the development of media has made their life easier and allows people to find more information more easily than the previous generation. The picture above is a short timeline from the traditional media to new media for you to be aware how fast and easy our made have developed. Started from the Pre-Industrial stage in 1700, followed by the Television in 1941, then large electronic equipments were then developed in 1949, until Web Browsers were discovered in 1995. Social media were then discovered in 2004 which enables the users to communicate with each other easily. Lastly is Micro Blogs discovered in 2006. Then as time goes by the growth of our technology and media have been smooth enough and made our life even more easier.

Media Information Literacy Historical Timeline

There are declarations that were significant in the development of Media and Information Literacy. The first declaration was the 1982 Grunwald Declaration on Media Education which took the lead in the advancement of MIL. Aside from the 1982 Declaration, 2003 Prague Declaration Towards an Information Literate Society, 2005 Alexandria Proclamation on Information Literacy and Lifelong Learning, 2007 Paris Agenda or 12 Recommendations for Media Education, 2011 Fez Declaration on Media and Information Literacy, 2012 Moscow Declaration on Media and Information Literacy, 2013 Global Alliance for Partnerships on Media and Information Literacy (GAPMIL) Framework and Action Plan, 2013 International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) Media and Information Literacy Recommendations, 2014 Paris Declaration on Media and Information Literacy in the Digital Era, 2016 The Khanty-Mansiysk Declaration Media and Information Literacy for Building a Culture of Open Government, 2016 Riga Recommendations on MIL in a Shifting Media and Information Landscape, and lastly 2018 The Need to Boost UNESCO's MIL Programme and Proclamation of a Global Media and Information Literacy Week, were also significant in the development of media and information literacy.

As the time goes by our technology has been evolving into easier and more efficient. The technology before, as we can see, is very complicated and harder to do. The information before is not disseminate to everyone, perhaps it would be disseminate but it would take days for people to know the current label issue. For the past years, our technology has been sourceful either in environmental or government. It may be a big advantage to our society but it has a bigger responsibility when it talks about its disadvantages. Technology has come in ways. It can be used in communicating and informative manner. We may seen it as a big good value but we also seen its impact to today's generation. Technology may be friendly or badly to everyone. I say this so as it depend on the user. It is widely and worldly that it would sometimes issue a fake news and possibly believe by few. We are a part of a media, a media that would regards everyone with their action. We, as a part of media, should be responsible, do the rules and avoid those don'ts.

                                          Homework Bill

          School time is such a tiring part of our lives. It molds us to become stronger and more responsible in doing our duties. This institution gives a brighter future if we are about to embrace its rules. So many homework, assignment, projects and many other school stuff that makes our day long and tiring. Actually, we are not okay. We are so tired. But we have to make it because we have a dream for ourselves, our family, and to our nation.

          Recently, government implemented the No Homework Policy also known as Homework Bill. Me, as a student do not agree about this action. They said that its purpose is for us to have more time with our family. Yes, that’s true. But how about us? How about those projects that we need to finish inside the school? And those students who make this as an advantage to play more on mobile games? We are so tired! We are not a robot. We need rest, not in the house, but also in school.

        I totally disagree when I heard this implementation. But we don’t have enough power to disobey this. All we have to do is wait for its effects whether it’s negative or positive. We just have to accept it and do our duties as a Filipino.

Stop, Look and Reflect!

Being a student entails so much more. It gives an apprehension about who you are and what you are in the society. Education is the key for achieving a better future worthcoming. Insisting the No Homework Policy to be in the drive would mean less. For it not only weakens the capability of the student to become efficient and proficient it also weakens its academic standing.

Students would then be more technologically inclined rather than academically inclined. It only insinuates that students would become more privileged to the "techy world" but not to the world of knowledge. A student without experiencing stress would not mean being a student at all because a true student is a student experiencing stress and managing his/her time well. Furthermore, strating at an early age without common background and exercising the practice of homeworks would mean that it would surely be a hard time for the students to exert this kind of practice.

Piled up of activities then would result to this kind of drive if pushed forward for the President's signage. If not meant to be done at home then series of activities would be handed over to the shoulders of the student striving for success. And as a consequence, students would surely learn less.

Premarital sex

Premarital sex is having a sexual intercourse before marriage, which is against the will of God. There is also marital sex which is having a sexual intercourse after marriage. Then lastly we have chastity which is not having or avoiding sexual intercourse at all times which is being practiced by priests and nuns.

We chosed premarital sex as our main topic because it is very timely and will affect the lives of the people who engaged premarital sex for a lifetime. We want to raise the awareness of the people about the negative effects of this issue.

We made this video to spread the information and to discourage people to engage in sexual intercourse before marriage. We want to disseminate moral lessons through this simple video clip that we made.

Waste Management

Solid-waste management, the collecting, treating, and disposing of solid material that is no longer in use or it's already a waste. Improper disposal of municipal solid waste can create unsanitary conditions, and these conditions in turn can lead to pollution of the environment. There are many ways to provide a greater cleanliness in our community.

There are 5 r's that could help us to make our goal succeed. Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose, Recycle. Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose, Recycle. Five actions that can make your organization and you a better steward. This way we will be able to follow it and contribute an advantage to our economy. Certain types of wastes that cause immediate danger to exposed individuals or environments and so we should do our responsibility.

As we can conclude, wastes are one of the economic problem we can't solve easily without having unity and cooperation. If we continue to have a close mind and just minding ourself, we wouldn't be able to achieve the chance to do it. We should and we must end our greediness and start sharing of what we can do and why should we do it.

Success is when you able to experience mistakes. You can't attain the success when you experience something that you couldn't learn. It is something a big goal that needs a big hardwork and determination to do it. A success is not only a word, not even a simple word, it gives a big impact and responsibility to yourself.
