Jeanine was born into Erudite, and from a young age it was clear that she was exceptionally gifted. She could speak clearly by the time she was 11 months old, and read by the time she was 2. She excelled in school and scored highest in her class on her Erudite required IQ tests in 3rd and 8th grade. It was obvious she would remain in Erudite and prosper there.

But things changed on the day of her aptitude test. She found out something that, despite her intelligence, she did not know the danger of. She was Divergent. Her strongest aptitude was for Erudite, of course, but she also had an aptitude for Candor. For the first time in her life, she was confused, and she brought it up to her parents. That was a huge mistake. Her parents tried to turn her over to Erudite authorities, to have her killed, but she twisted around the story to make them seem like the dangerous ones, and they were kicked out of Erudite.

Jeanine chose to stay, and upon her final IQ test in Erudite initiation, she received the highest score ever recorded for an initiate and was quickly trained to become Erudite’s leader. She grew to understand why the Divergent were dangerous, and tried to wash her own Divergence out. She learned to manipulate facts to get the results she wanted. She stopped being so honest with the people around her and instead became cruel. She grew to hate the Divergent, and used her power to plot to take them out.

And now she just may have what she needs to do it. She is putting the pieces together to take down the Abnegation government and hunt down the Divergent. Soon, she will have the whole city under her thumb.

Stephanie has lived her whole life in Candor. She was born cut out for her faction. She never had any qualms about being brutally honest, even if it was considered 'inconsiderate' by the other factions. She believed strongly in the Candor saying that, "Politeness is deception in pretty packaging." When her choosing day came, there was no question that she would stay in her home faction.

She married another strict Candor born and had two children, Christina and Rose. They raised their children strictly in the Candor way. Her husband was keen to giving slaps on the wrist with a ruler when he suspected one of his children was lying, and that was nothing out of the norm in Candor. She could see that Rose was like her, Candor born and raised, but Christina was never quite like that. Stephanie always suspected her daughter was hiding something,and when Christina transferred to Dauntless, she was proven right.

When her children were 9 and 14, Stephanie's husband left her. It was a cold transaction. An honest acknowledgement that they had drifted apart. He left, and she continued to raise the kids. When she would see him around the compound, she would politely acknowledge him in the way of the Candor, but at night she would cry for the loss of the husband she must not have been honest enough for.

Confessions:

She once stole from an older Candor lady,but then felt so guilty about it, she returned the item and the lady promised to keep it between them.

As a teenager, she used to sneak off to be with a boy from Erudite.

Bio: Drew liked his old faction; Candor, and his home. But something always felt a little off. As much as he liked telling the blunt truth, and didn't care if he spared others feelings; there was a certain adventure aspect missing in his life. He used to always watch the Dauntless students chase after the trains, scale buildings, and run around the school yard. He always admired them. So come time for the choosing ceremony he chose Dauntless. Drew submersed himself completely in the Dauntless lifestyle; or at least what it had become. He became brutal and cruel; rather than brave. He survived the first part easy, as he was stronger than a lot of the other initates. However, he took a hard hit come the second round, and by the end of round three; he found himself Factionless. Drew tried to go into the same building in which Edward was located, but Edward had beaten Drew to within an inch of his life. He is now wandering around in search of a place to call home.
