Sterling had washed ashore, his clothing torn arrows pierced across his body, only barely clinging to life, his breaths shallow as his blood flowed like the water around him, his head bleeding from a wound that had hit him quite hard. It would be months before he had recovered enough to wake, no sign of his former life left, no memory, just the smell of a man, one who had been tending to him this entire time, the feel of his hands upon his skin the only thing his mind had held to.
After Warren had found the man, mangled and on the verge of death, he'd done everything he could to keep him alive. While he wasn't actually trained in this kind of thing, but living alone had taught him enough to slowly nurse Sterling back to life. Of course he knew who Sterling eas was, the prince of the realm. But there was nothing Warren could do about that. Until one day when he came back from his day of fishing, when he heard a sound of movement coming from his room, where he'd given up his bed for the past few months. He walked in and carefully checked on Sterling. "Are you waking?" He asked carefully.
Sterling looked startled, blinking confused, looking this man over. “Where….. who….” His mouth felt strange, the words not forming right in them, he had no memory of who he was and how he had gotten here, but something about this man felt, familiar, safe.
His body ached, everything felt sluggish, stiff, the rough-spun clothing itched against his soft royal skin, all of which felt too big to fit him.
"My name is Warren. Please, let me sit you up, and you must drink. It's been a little difficult to keep you fed these past months." He already had a cup of water ready to go.
“Warr-” he tried to speak but the words came out rough, his throat sore, he tried to sit up, wincing as pain shot through his chest and back, eliciting a most pathetic whimper
“Sei bellissimo!!!” (you are so handsome)
“…bellissimo!!! 😁😁😁”

Rescue (Open)
Fion stood on the balcony of his tower, staring out over the vast emptiness around him. The dragon who guarded him was off hunting, it wasn't like he could escape anyway. He'd tried at failed that before.
He hated the idea he'd have to be rescued but there was no other way
Which was why he had to tilt his head and squint as he looked out...
Someone was approaching...
Fion rolled his eyes as he listened to the ridiculous stories that were being shared.
"I suppose those stories are more exciting than the bastard son who ruined the family image."
He crossed his arms across his chest with a huff, quite aware of the way the other looked at him.
"What?"
After hearing such tales of hideous monsters, its quite a relief to see that tales of your unrivalled beauty were severely under exaggerated….
"Thanks... I think..." truthfully, most of Fion's understanding of people came from his books. He'd been a toddler when he was locked up with only a nursemaid, left alone once he could fend for himself. He wasn't quite sure if the other was complimenting him.
"Is that why you came here really? To see if I was some hideous beast you could mock?"
Now why would anyone want to come and do something so cruel? I came to rescue a prince, to see if I might help in breaking any curses upon him, and to see if the legends of his beauty were true. And I must say, the legends fall quite short of the reality…”
