—≪💎≫”I think so, except she looks a lot older than me. Especially in the height department. Don’t be fooled though by my appearance, I’m actually over a thousand years old.”

     A giggle as she bounced around, before clasping her hands in front of her. 

    “Although I get the feeling you might not be so different.”

“You’re over a thousand years old?” Palutena asked as her smile grew. “You don’t look a day over twenty!” She complimented. “As for my age...”

 The goddess raised her right hand and brought her index finger to her lips.

 “A lady like me can’t reveal her age.” She mused. “If I did I’d never be able to build friendships. Let’s just say I’m in my mid-twenties and leave it at that.” Her words were coated in a playful tone while her hand came back down. “Is the color green in for hair? I’ve had this hair color my entire life, so if it is I’ve been fairly ahead of the curve.”

     Olivia knew that no matter who it was, she was left at their mercy. She slowly turned herself, so the leg was exposed to the other. Swollen, bloody… It was an awful sight and a wonder she had even made it this far in it’s condition.

     Clouded vision studied the one in front of her… She had never seen someone like her before… Was she glowing? No, surely it was the rain messing with her eyes.

“Palutena, Goddess of Light.” She introduced.

The green haired goddess turned Olivia’s leg over multiple times in her inspection. Frankly it was terrible, but the weather made it look worse. With her mind on the weather the idea that it wasn’t helping at all came to mind. With the wave of a hand a thin barrier was made that formed a dome over the two. There was a smile of satisfaction as the pounding rain ceased its assault upon them.

 Palutena’s attention returned once more to Olivia’s leg. She clasped her hands gently on opposite sides and began working on healing the dancer’s gnarled leg. Though her expression had been serious, any time she made eye contact the goddess made sure to give a reassuring smile.

 “You’ll be okay.” She repeated.

≪💐≫”… I can’t go on…”

    She collapsed to the ground, curling herself into a ball. She was bleeding too heavy from her leg… Nothing she seemed to do would stop it either. Why did it have to end like this?

 Palutena had been watching. Up to this point she had used her own hand to guide the hurt woman through subtle pushes from the wind to falling rocks. She was so close to safety and had now given up. The goddess gave a sigh as she turned, deciding that perhaps she shouldn’t intervene any further. 

I can’t...

 It was the only thought that escaped her mind. Palutena descended on angelic wings backed by divine light. Every time her heart got involved she couldn’t turn a blind eye. Especially not to someone so pure.

 “You’ll live.” She encouraged while kneeling beside Olivia. “Let me see your wounds please.”

“Do I?” Palutena asked while carrying a smiling expression with her eyes closed. “Is she wonderful and kind? Is she beautiful like you?”

 Frankly the young looking girl before Palutena looked adorable. Adorable enough to adopt or hug tight and make a claim about keeping her. She had a wonderfully radiant smile, something more people needed.

 “Excuse me!” The Goddess called as she rushed over. “I’m sorry to be a bother, but you seem familiar.”

 Palutena looked Lucina up and down. Blue hair, a sword. And then a name clicked, but unfortunately for the goddess it was the wrong one.

 “Ah! your name is Marth isn’t it? It’s so nice to get to see you again Mar Mar!” The goddess stated in delight while clasping her hands together.
