Sekai eyed Orihime for a moment, before hugging her. “I’ve missed you…” He whispered softly, kissing her cheek. He smiled softly, weakly. He was so tired… But he had to make his report first. It was then he heard footsteps behind him; and released the female to turn to Levent. 

He walked over to the other, whispering into the brunette’s ear. The male’s eyes widened. “They are?!” Sekai scowled at the other as he spoke rather loudly, obviously not happy about it.

"Do you want the whole village to hear you? The last thing we need is a panic…" The blond male sighed softly.

The brunette bowed, apologetic. “Right, sorry. We’ll put out extra patrols.” He replied to Sekai, before leaving in the opposite direction.

The blond shook his head, heading back to Orihime. “Sorry… There’s sort of… Something coming our way, but I’m pretty sure we’ve got it under control…” He yawned again, covering his mouth. “…Geez. Why am I so tired…”

His embrace came as a surprise to her, hearing his words against her ear only making her tremble momentarily. A blush coming across her cheeks as he let her go to turn to the other, a look of confusion deciding to come over her as she found herself stepping back. The sound of shock made her more than just worried but, as Sekai spoke up again, she only began to try and calculate what might be happening. She winced as she felt another headache come on but quickly hid it all behind that fake smile.

When Levent began to walk away, her arms laid cross at her chest. Putting out a hand slowly, she shook her head. “You need to get some rest.” It was a simple statement but she was unsure if he’d take it. “You did have a lot to do, I believe so maybe you should go get some rest.”

Sekai paused for a moment, before letting out a soft sigh. "I'm not sure if I can. There's a lot to do... And..." He halted, before shaking his head. "I just have to get ready for---" He then lost his balance for a moment, before straightening again.

"..." The blond glanced away for a moment, sighing softly. "I... I guess I should rest, huh..." He was exhausted, but didn't want to risk anything happening. The demon hybrid looked to the other, smiling weakly. "Will you at least come with me?" He walked over to the female, hugging her again. "I want you by my side..." 

He paused again, before snuggling against Orihime. He just wanted to spend some time with her... The male loved her too much to be without her much longer. "Please..." He whispered softly.

Tenshi stared at the now exposed mark for a few moments, in a state of shock. “…” After a few moments, she let out a soft sigh. “Very well…” She replied to her request. “I won’t tell anyone. But… In exchange, you have to tell Sekai, sooner or later. Sooner would be preferred.”

"Tell me what?"

The blonde jumped at the sound of the other’s voice, and turned, spotting the male. “A-Ah!” She bowed to the Knight, frowning a bit. “N-Nothing…”

Sekai frowned slightly at the half-fairy’s response, before looking crestfallen. “What’s been going on since my absence…?” He proceeded to play a bit with his scarf. “I knew leaving would be a bad idea…” The human-demon hybrid grumbled, yawning a bit. He looked exhausted, no doubt from the journey. 

He rubbed his shoulder, which was covered by the scarf, sighing. “Tenshi, can you go get Levent? I need to notify him of something…” And before the male could even finish his sentence, off the fairy-hybrid went.

There was nothing that Orihime could say at that moment to make it any better so instead, she went to look at her hands. Biting her lip as soon as she heard footsteps, she still didn’t look up, knowing who it was as soon as he spoke up. Dashing her bangs over the odd mark once more to hide the subject of secret, the adopted princess faked a smile, looking up to her beloved.

“Nothing’s happened, just a few little mix-ups in the orders.” The answer seemed to slip her lips as she crossed her arms. Examining him now, she allowed her head to tilt, simply acting once again as if nothing was wrong. She didn’t want to tell him—she was afraid of doing so because of what she had saw and remembered from the events. Biting her lip a bit more and completely turning to him, that broken smile continued to shine. “See, nothing’s wrong here.”

Sekai eyed Orihime for a moment, before hugging her. "I've missed you..." He whispered softly, kissing her cheek. He smiled softly, weakly. He was so tired... But he had to make his report first. It was then he heard footsteps behind him; and released the female to turn to Levent. 

He walked over to the other, whispering into the brunette's ear. The male's eyes widened. "They are?!" Sekai scowled at the other as he spoke rather loudly, obviously not happy about it.

"Do you want the whole village to hear you? The last thing we need is a panic..." The blond male sighed softly.

The brunette bowed, apologetic. "Right, sorry. We'll put out extra patrols." He replied to Sekai, before leaving in the opposite direction.

Tenshi continued to stare at Orihime, frowning a bit still. “You’re not hiding, or keeping secrets from me, or anyone else for that matter, are you?” The blonde half-fairy questioned, still concerned. She took a step forward, frowning at the once-princess.

"You know we care about you, right? If you hide things from us, and we find out later, we’ll just be more concerned." She stated softly, her blue eyes shining. Hopefully…. Hopefully she’d do what was right, and tell Tenshi about the mark. Maybe they could solve something… The fairy-demon hybrid could only hope, however.

Her hands were trembling, making her back up ever so slightly so she could get a breath of air. Sighing, finding it impossible to not say something, she pulled her bangs up, exposing the mark that was left on her forehead. “Please Tenshi … Don’t tell anyone this, alright?” 

Breathing and lowering her bangs, she put her hands to her side. Looking away as her stomach twisted, she allowed a puff of air to escape her in a quick huff. “I was kidnapped. That’s why I was gone. The queen’s men found me and they took me back.” Biting her tongue, she struggled to stand straight for once. Looking to her boots and nothing else, she shut her eyes tightly. “They had me knocked out… I don’t know what they did to me. I’m here though, I’m okay and that’s all that matters… I get headaches ever so often from that, but I can cure it so… Please don’t tell anyone. Please."

Tenshi spotted the mark, although just for a moment, and stopped walking. Her blue hues stared at the spot, shining with confusion. “…Orihime?” The blonde questioned, frowning slightly. What… What was that? What could it possibly be? She blinked slowly, eyeing the other female. “…” Her humming had stopped completely, her happy demeanor replaced by a more serious, concerned one. She was truly worried about what she had saw, and probably wasn’t going to let the once-princess go any further without explaining.

Blinking and quickly looking back to the blond, she rose an eyebrow in question. “Hmm? What is it Tenshi?” There was no way she had … Gulping and becoming suddenly unsettled, she pulled a hand up to mess with her bangs, fully covering the marks that were left. “I didn’t say anything wrong, did I?” 

Did she blow it… ? Her eyes quickly diverted to the ground and her hands began to play with her sleeves. No one could know what happened back then. No one at all … It’d only bring trouble.

"Ah… Alright." Tenshi responded softly. As the other walked along, the blonde nodded. "Of course!" The fairy-demon hybrid piped up. "I’m fine with that." She replied, still heading towards her home. Tenshi began to hum softly, happily. "It’s nice to have someone like you on our side…" Tenshi giggled a bit.

Making her smile wider — though it was lie it still seemed real enough to pass. Tapping her feet across the soil she had tried to clear her senses again as the other spoke, flinching a few times before nodding and letting her smile become a bit more loose. “It’s nice to be on this side… Humans are cruel—I don’t ever want to go back.” Though as she swayed in step, that little marking that had formed ever since she escaped her kidnapping was visible to the ones who paid attention for those few moments. Not even noticing, the woman just continued onward.

"Of course." The blonde smiled happily, watching as the human nodded. "Alright, thank you, Orihime…" Tenshi spun around, beginning to head towards the house. She paused, turning to the once-princess. "You remember where the house is, right?" The fairy-demon hybrid laughed nervously. "Sorry, that was a stupid question… Haha…"

"Of course I know where the house is— and don’t apologize, I understand." Giving a soft giggle, the princess began walking with the other. "Besides, this city is big so I might have not known where to go." A few more steps and the woman was heading in the right direction. "The question is, could I use the kitchen? I have my herbs with me.."

"Ah... Alright." Tenshi responded softly. As the other walked along, the blonde nodded. "Of course!" The fairy-demon hybrid piped up. "I'm fine with that." She replied, still heading towards her home. Tenshi began to hum softly, happily. "It's nice to have someone like you on our side..." Tenshi giggled a bit.

"I’m just saying. Anyone would be worried about their significant other." Tenshi responded, smiling gently. "I’m sure he’ll be back, unscathed. The ritual is very tedious, though. Or so I’ve heard." Tenshi looked up at the sky as well, following Orihime’s gaze. The sun was setting, the sky a beautiful orange. "I also believe he’s thinking about you… Just as you are him. He’s so in love with you… But I’m sure you know that already." Tenshi laughed quietly. "Right?"

"You’re right." The adopted princess replied, managing to work a more realistic smile on her lips. "He wouldn’t just… Ah well — I’m being silly by thinking such dark thoughts." Breathing in deeply, she looked back down to her hands and then nodded. "I should get to work on that dinner! I got the perfect recipe that should do the trick to at least get Aiko to have a good night’s rest."

"Of course." The blonde smiled happily, watching as the human nodded. "Alright, thank you, Orihime..." Tenshi spun around, beginning to head towards the house. She paused, turning to the once-princess. "You remember where the house is, right?" The fairy-demon hybrid laughed nervously. "Sorry, that was a stupid question... Haha..."

"Alright…" Tenshi responded softly, before placing a hand on Orihime’s shoulder. "Try… Try not to get so worried over him, okay? He should be back in a few hours… Maybe sooner." The fairy-demon hybrid smiled lightly. "I bet he’s on his way now. It may just be my intuition, but I trust it."

"Worried— who are you calling worried?" The words were quick out of her mouth before she managed to fight a frown from crossing her face. "It’s normal for me to be like this — this is what all of that training made me become." Huffing and puffing up her cheeks, she crossed her arms across her chest and dared to look to the sky to see what time it was. "… I just hope he comes back safe… He seemed so off when he left." Orihime also hadn’t wanted to mention the little fun they had in the bedroom before that time had come.

The fairy-demon hybrid fluttered over to the once-princess, before landing gracefully onto the ground. “Yes?” The blonde asked quietly, her wings sparkling. “Did you find her?” She questioned. The half fairy hoped Aiko didn’t try to hurt the other… She knew how easily Aiko was angered lately. 

She supposed Aiko’s insanity would re-emerge sooner or later… But at this rate Tenshi was concerned the noble demon would be cursed…

"She should be at the house now." Was all the woman said, her mind switching back to what was important at the moment. "Though… She really doesn’t like being locked up in the house and that’s why she ran off — you have to take her out some times you know … It’s not good to only be able to roam one little area, even with her mentality."

"Why do I need to go home? I’m not doing anything wrong. ShiShi keeps me locked up in that damn house all day! It’s so boring! Especially now… It’s not fair!" The noble demon crossed her arms. "Not fair at all." She huffed, annoyed. "But fine, I’ll go…" The female stood up, grumbling herself as she dusted off her dress before heading in the direction of the garden’s exit. "…" Let’s hope she doesn’t scurry off somewhere else, and sticks to her word.

A content sigh left her lips as she stood up and put her hands to her sides. “I understand, being locked up isn’t fun but at the moment, stressing her out like this isn’t a good idea either.” Closing her eyes, she walked along the path, exiting the garden and watching the white haired other. “Just please do this for me — I’ll be there in a few minutes.” 

Tapping her feet together, she began to go search now for the other. Reviewing a few herbs in her mind, she shook her head and stopped. “Tenshi—!”

It was then Aiko jumped out from the bushes, tackling the once-princess to the ground, whip in hand. However, when she noticed it was Orihime, she scowled. “Where’s ShiShi?!” The white haired female sat up, aggravated. “ShiShi said I need medicine! What the hell is wrong with her? I do not! I’m not insane, and I’m fine the way I am!” She spoke angrily. “If anyone needs medicine it’s her for thinking such weird things!”

Orihime had managed to hold back a squeak as she was forced to the ground. She looked up, gave a grumble and then seemed to calm down. “She was worried sick about you and wanted to find you, Aiko. You can’t keep running off like that.” Her strict tone had come back to her as she sat up, pulled herself to where her back was utterly straight. “And I agree, you don’t need medicine but you do need to calm down a bit.” Patting off her clothing from the dust and dirt that now was on it, she looked directly to the demon and stayed firm. “Aiko, you need to go home, I will get Tenshi.”

"Alright…" Tenshi paused, before shouting, "Accipe in caelum!" and then her fairy wings appeared. "I’ll take the aerial view… Hopefully we’ll find her faster that way." The blonde smiled lightly at Orihime. "Once again, thanks so much. I really appreciate it." And with that, she began to float. She could only hope they’d find the noble demon soon… And hope she hadn’t caused any harm to anyone, or managed to get in harms way herself.

Without paying much attention to the other’s words, Orihime was off, running towards the garden with a pitter patter of feet tapping the ground. If I was Aiko… where would I be? That was the question as she slipped to a stop and glanced around the lively garden. She paused, hesitated before taking another step and letting blue eyes refresh over the area. Nothing out of the ordinary…

"I checked the training areas… The forest is off limits currently due to the fact… Erm… One of the caves, although it is unknown which one… Is where… …Kira’s Knight keeps his vigil. We’re not allowed to disturb the forest during this time. I’m sure even Aiko would obey that rule…" Tenshi hoped so, anyway… "The forest is not to be entered until he returns… Everyone here is aware of this rule." The blonde felt a bit guilty talking about Sekai, knowing it would probably bother the once-princess… But she knew it had to be said. It was a very important rule, that was meant to be obeyed by everyone.

Flinching momentarily before catching herself and hiding it well, the female just took a breath, spun in step and then looked back at the other. “Then I’ll check the garden; if she’s anywhere in-between, we’ll find her. That or just start listening for yelling.” The words that escaped her were soft and well-eased as she shifted her steps towards her new destination. “If she’s not in either of those places, we’ll just might have to lure her somehow…”

"Yeah… I was supposed to be watching her, but Levent called for me… And by the time I got back to the house she was gone. It’s odd, she usually listens to me…" The fairy-demon hybrid’s blue hues glanced away in shame, before returning to the other. "Would you really do that? Thank you!" 

As the other female suggested assisting in the search, Tenshi’s smile grew. “Thanks so much, Orihime. That’d be a great help.” She then laughed nervously. “Haha, I suppose I should try not to apologize as often as I do, hmm..?” Tenshi shook her head. “Anyway, thanks again. I’m glad we have you here, Orihime.”

"It’s the least I can do." Was all the brunette said as she turned in step, shrugging her shoulders back for a moment. The soft cracking of bone in her back was heard as she stretched momentarily and looked onward. "Now … You just need to think more like Aiko." Stepping forward and closing her blue hues, she waited as she thought and let her feet take a few steps left before she opened her eyes. "Did you check the forest or any of the training areas for that matter?"

At the apology, Tenshi looked to the other, her blue eyes examining her. “Ah… Orihime.” The blonde responded, a bit belated. “Sorry to bother you, but… Have you seen Aiko? I’m sort of worried she’ll flip out if left to her own devices again…” The female’s sentence trailed off.

"She’s been really… off lately…" Tenshi frowned, before seeming to remember something. "Oh! Do you know any herbs that calm people down? I mean, that’d be really helpful. Maybe make it into a tea or something… She won’t take any pills, saying something about how we’re trying to make her seem insane or something…. That girl, I swear…" The blonde seemed to be rambling. She realized this, once again, belatedly. "Oh, sorry. I’m just going on and on, aren’t I?" The female laughed quietly.

The human gave out a sigh before anything, bowing her head, trying to think for a moment as she listened to the other’s words. Right, get your mind off of it and — “Aiko is missing?” It made Orihime blink and open her eyes wide to the thought that the demon other had vanished and… Well this wouldn’t be good to say the least if she was not found soon. “No, I haven’t seen her but I can whip up something to calm her down and hide it in her next meal; it shouldn’t be that hard to do.” 

Shifting on her feet she pulled her little blade back to where it was snuggled in it’s little make-shift scabbard. “I can help you find her until then, I have most of the herbs I need anyway, Tenshi.” Another breath and those blue eyes were as calm as the ocean sky. “And there is no need to apologize so much, I understand everything.”

Pacing, pacing, pacing; the adopted princess only seemed to be able to do just that. Her blue hues blinked and shifted as she began starting to go into her nervous fit. Looking at her covered feet, messing and twirling her hair around her finger… She didn’t know what to do to hold down that off and worried feeling. 

Taking deep breathes, focusing on something small like the fall flowers that were starting to bloom — it managed just slightly to calm her down. Stopping in mid-pace, she now was just tapping her feet against the dirt, looking at the flower patch with curious blue hues before footsteps came near. Moments passed and her hand was at the hilt of a knife and it was yanked free and aimed before she stopped, frozen by who now stood in front of her. “M-my apologies …”

"…" Sekai’s lime green gaze turned away from her for a moment, before looking up at her again. “I can stick around for a few hours before I go… Kira said I could stick around for a couple days if I really wanted to, but… The reason I’m telling you now…" He raised his hand to cup the other’s cheek. “Is because I was hoping for… A bit of a distraction… Or something of the sort before I go in the morning. I’ll be there for quite a few hours, and it’s going to be hell… I need to have some positive thoughts before I go, heh." The blonde grinned a bit, blushing ever so faintly.

"..." Sekai was silent for a moment, blushing lightly still. "You know though, don't you?" He looked up at her, before standing up. "...I feel sort of guilty, asking this of you, however." The demon hybrid blushed even more, "...but..... I want you...." The blonde didn't want to take advantage of her, not at all... He just wanted to have some... nice... memories before he set out early the next day.
