feral!daryl has a wet dream that leads to your first time having sex
warning! smut ahead, mdi! this is extremely filthy. like extremely kinky because daryl and reader are freaks. also, listen to this audio while youâre at it for the immersive experience.
It happened when the two of you were sleeping soundly in your bed. You were a light sleeper, so was Daryl. The slightest noise could wake the two of you up. This time it was different. Daryl was extremely tired from a long day of hunting, trying to feed the community and on top of that he was also stressed out from the pressure of bringing something back home and not coming back empty handed. He deserved the rest.
You were turned away from him, however he had his arm around you. Your back pressed closely to his chest.
Thatâs when you started to notice his extremely heavy breathing. You immediately jolted up and turned around, worried if he was hurt. Usually the frantic movement would wake him up by now but it didnât he stayed asleep.
You can see his chest rising up and down, the shirt that he wore clung close to his skin as sweat seeped through his pores. You brought your hand to feel his temperature in case he was sick, but he wasnât.
Then he started grunting. Deep, raspy grunts accompanied by soft moans. You noticed he kept bucking his hips up, thrusting into nothing. Your mind started to slowly register what was happening.
Your eyes fell down to his crotch.
His cock was basically begging to pop out of his zipper.
âOh my godâ You whispered softly to yourself as you thought about what to do. You were contemplating whether or not to wake him up, he was tired and you didnât want to bother him but it seemed like he was more in pain to be sleeping rather than being awake.
Your hand found his chest. The temperature in the room slowly starts to rise as you felt yourself getting hot. Your eyes keep falling down to his crotch, thereâs a small wet patch that you could assume was his pre-cum.
Your mouth started watering as you stared at his bulge. You started to salivate. You were thirsty but it wasnât for a drink. The only way to satiate your thirst was if his cock was deep inside your cunt, right now.
You slowly got on top of him, careful not to scare him as you leaned down and buried your face into his neck that was glistening with sweat.
âDaryl⊠wake up babyâ You whisperer softly into his ear.
You didnât know what possessed you but your tongue darted out as you traced his salty neck softlyâlicking his sweat away and savored the taste in your mouth. You whimpered to yourself when Daryl suddenly jolted his hips into your throbbing core and he growled in his sleep, âBaby, wake upâŠâ
You can feel your clit pulsating as your panties start to soak. You didnât know what to do. You didnât want to touch him without his consent, you were trying hard not to. Hell, youâve never even seen him with his shirt off and you sure as hell had never seen his dick.
Daryl called out your nameâalmost a whisper, âYes baby?â You responded hopefully.
He was still asleep but at least you know now that he is dreaming about you.
You were starting to get agitated. It was like the roles had been reversed and you were the feral one. You were breathing heavily, panting and you started to nibble his neck.
âBaby, please wake up⊠I canât take it anymore. N-need youâ You begged, your hips unconsciously moving against him, wanting to feel him. âN-need you, Dareâ
It was up to a point where you felt like you could cry. That was how bad you wanted him.
Like a miracle, you felt his hand travelled up to your hips as his eyes fluttered open.
âWhatâs going on?â Daryl grumbled as he took a minute to recover. He looked up at you as he saw your glassy eyes, âWhatâs wrongâ
âN-need youâ You hid in his chest as your hips jerked involuntarily. Daryl chuckled deeply. âYou were dreaming about m-meâ
âHmm, wanna make my dreams come true?â He rasped as you nodded eagerly, âCome âere, girl. Give me a kissâ
The kiss was as desperate as you were. You were sloppy, sticking your tongue down his throat if you had to. You wanted to taste him, taste all of him. The subtle hint of Marlboro reds made you moaned as Daryl grunted.
âWhat made you like this. huh?â
âY-youâ
âSorry, darlinâ. Didnât mean to leave my girl high and dry. What a bad man I am?â He sounded so sexy when he just woke up, if it was even possible it made you even wetter than before,.
âWanna take this off?â He pointed at your shirt, you werenât wearing a bra underneath as your nipples pebbled under the cold air. âF-fuckâ He faltered, seeing your breasts for the first time.
Without a warning, he devoured them like a starved manânipping and biting as you moaned out his name. His grunts and growl were animalistic, sending shivers down your spine.
âTake your panties off and give them to meâ He muttered in between your breast as your raised your hips to take them off, âYâknow what I do with these when you ainât lookin?â
You shook your head, playing dumb as he scoffed.
He brought them up to his nose as he sniffed your soiled panties right up his nose, taking a deep inhale as he growled, he did this while maintaining eye contact with you the whole time.
âSmell so fucking good makes me wanna eat âyaâ His hands found your hips as he gripped them roughly, âWould spend the whole day just smelling your pretty little cuntâ
You whimpered at his words as he smacked your ass.
âI j-just want it inside, please?â You begged as Daryl laughed at you, almost mockingly.
âUse your words baby, donât understand yaâ His thumb found your lips as he softly caressed them before pushing it into your mouth. You sucked it up as if you would with his cock.
âI want your cock inside me, Dare. P-pleaseâ You muttered pathetically.
âAtta girl, use your words next time hmm? Donât get all cock dumb for me like that, youâre a smart girl arenât ya?â You didnât know you enjoyed this until now. You didnât know you enjoyed him degrading you and praising you at the same time. âGet up a bit, let me take it out for yaâ
âTake off your shirt, I wanna see youâ Daryl hummed as he confidentially unbuttoned his shirt, revealing all his battle scars and tattoos to you. You might have just visibly drooled, âYouâre so beautiful, Dare⊠Donât know how lucky I got with y-youâ You traced your fingers over his scars as you leaned in to kiss each and every one of them.
Daryl smirked as he taps your hips, ordering you to turn around and get on all fours.
âMâ more lucky to get a slut like you, practically begging me to fill her up with my cockâ You can hear Daryl unzipped his pants as you glanced back.
There he was standing with his cock in his hands.
His monstrously large dick that was going to be impossible to fit inside you.
âWhat, catâs gotcha tongue, darlin?â
âDaryl, itâs not gonna f-fitâ
âWhatcha talking about? Youâre practically dripping for me. Itâs gonna slide right in, babyâ Daryl teased as he lined his shaft up to your core. Your heartâs pounding in your chest, âYou wanted this right? Youâre gonna take it cus youâre a big girlâ
âPlease, Darylâ Suddenly he leaned down as he kissed your cheeks.
âYouâre gonna tell me if it hurts okay? Iâll stop immediately, donât want my girl to be hurtâ He whispered softly in your ears as your heart swells.
âI can t-take it, just put it in pleaseâ
âOnly âcus you asked so nicelyâ Then you felt it, the tip slowly pushed in and it had already made you feel so full.
âO-oh my god, Daryl⊠itâs already so muchâ Daryl chuckled darkly as he slowly pushed more of his length in. You gripped the bed sheets as your face pressed down on the bed, âDaryl!â
âShh, sweetheart we donât want the whole place to know what weâre doingâ He taunted, âF-fuck baby you feel t-too good for me. So fucking tight and warm, so fucking snugâ
He had his hands over your mouth, muffling your screams and moans as his thrusts started to pick up it pace.
Daryl was in your ear, shuddering, growling, grunting in the most animalistic was possible. The whole room echoed with the sound of his hips snapping roughly into your ass.
You were in heaven. You started seeing stars. Thatâs how good his cock felt.
âF-fuck keep gripping me like that, gonna make me cum inside ya. Gonna fill you upâ His thrust were starting to become more frantic as he reached down, his large fingers finding your clit as he roughly rubbed the swollen pearl. The overstimulation made you fell down on your stomach but with Darylâs strong hands, he manhandled you to keep you in line. âF-fuck Iâm gonna cumâ
You were muffled but you kept repeating and repeating on how close you were.
You felt it coiling in your core and you screamed inside his hands, your insides clenched Darylâs cock as you twitched underneath him, Daryl took of his hands from your mouth as he used it to stabilized you. You have your face pressed on the mattress as you tried to muffle your screams.
Daryl snapped his hips one more time as he pulled out frantically, his hand rubbing his shaft as he pushed you to face him.
One last pump and his cum splattered all over your chest and your face, spurts of it just keeps on cumming.
And Daryl makes the most beautiful noise when he cums. A mix of a whimper and a growl as his face twists in pleasure.
Your first time with him was not what you expect.
But that doesnât mean you didnât deeply enjoy it.
a/n: guys im about to go to sleep so this is so messy and bad im so sorry but goodnight <3

âYou know, if you wouldâve just turned me I wouldnât be in so much pain right nowâ You were curled up into a ballâthe only thing covering was Darylâs large black shirt and a pair of fuzzy socks. Daryl was laying on his back, his arms lazily draped around you as he traced circles on your shoulders.
âYa couldnât even stand the thought of me feedinâ on some other girl, ya want me to turn you?â Daryl scoffed, recalling the many times where he wanted to opt out for other options for your well-being and you went bat-shit crazy and would tell him no. It was funny really, people would have been scared of himâthinking he was a monster and running the other way. They would maybe even listen to his every word but not you. You remembered the first time he had attacked you, feed and eraseâthatâs his routine but in a one in a million moment, you had offered him to feed on you more. Maybe you were a masochist because the thought of him biting your neck, consuming you was a bit hot. He was hot. What girl would turn down being a hot manâs blood bag?
Maybe a girl with self-respectâbut hey, itâs not for everyone. You enjoyed it and thatâs okay, as long as it was consensual.
After a long time, you had developed mutual feelings for each other and you wouldnât want Daryl to sink his teeth into any other person but youâany other girl, really. Daryl said men taste bad apparently.
âYou know, I can make you feel so much betterâŠâ He trailed off, his voice was low as you turned towards him. Daryl wrapped his arms around you, his fingers now finding your lower bellyâtracing circles into them. âIf you would just let meâŠâ
âEw, Darylâno!â You scrunched your face in disgust as you smacked his hand away. âI told you, that would never happenâ
âWhyâ
âBecause itâs disgusting?!â
âIf you think about it, women have been told their periods are disgusting by men when they are not. Itâs blood in your body, babyâyou would be setting feminism back 100 years if you think itâs disgustingâ Daryl stated with a knowing look on his face as you glared at him, âIâm just lucky I get to eat you out and be fed at the same timeâI know you would taste so much better down there, you would feel so good⊠Iâd take all your pain awayâŠâ His tone became dangerous, his hand trailing down to your pubic area. Your breath shuddered as you closed your eyes, contemplating whether or not you should let your vampire partner eat you out when you were menstruating. The thought was still taboo in your mind but was it really that bad? Daryl was right, it was a natural process and it was completely normalâyou hated him for making you question your feminism.
âHave you ever done it with any other girl?â You whispered softly, looking up at him.
âNah, no one had gotten close to me as you doâI only wanna do it with my girlâ
âFuck, I canât believe I am agreeing to thisâ You cursed to yourself as Daryl smirked, already moving down to situate himself between your legs, âWait! can you just⊠let me clean up first?â
âNo need, Mâhungryâ He pulled your body from your thighs closer to his head as you yelped. Daryl looked up at you for a moment as he bared his teeth, his fangs showing as his eyes started to turn red. You whimpered when he growled, sounding so primal as he buried his nose into your core, âYâknow youâre like a walkinâ meal when youâre on your periodâcan fuckinâ smell you everywhereâfuckinâ tempting me and shitâ
He tore your panties off as you closed your eyes, feeling embarrassment as you closed your legs instinctively. He growled again, because it is the only sound he makes when he is riled up. He pushed your legs apart as you started breathing heavily, your heart pounding in your chest. His fingers found your swollen clit, as you twitchedâit was even more sensitive than ever. You whine as he chuckled darkly, teasing youâletting you anticipate when he was going to close his mouth onto your bleeding cunt.
It started slow at first, his tongue softly darting out to your core as you whimpered.
âMhmâŠâ He rumbled, closing his eyes as he kept licking your hole. You cried out at the stimulation, you never knew everything could be this sensitive. âMhm, tastes so fucking goodâfuckâŠâ
Daryl couldnât hold himself back any longer. His fingers were focused on your clit, rubbing the throbbing nub at a fast pace as his tongue kept lapping at your hole. The sounds that can be heard were lewdâdisgustingâbut in the most sexy way possible. Daryl was like a thirsty dog, desperately trying to get every single drop out of you. He was right, it did take the pain away. The pleasure was so good that you forgot about the excruciating pain you felt just seconds before. Your hips keep bucking up, pushing your pussy into his face as you moan out his nameâgripping his hair in your hands.
Daryl started fucking your hole with his tongue, curling it inside you in ways you thought werenât possibleâscraping every single drop you bled as you screamed loudly from pleasure. His fingers were steady, never faltered, never tired and he was always the only man that could get you to cum so fast and you felt it, you felt itâyou felt it bubbling in your core as your toes curled.
âMy babyâs gon cum? Give it to me, give it all⊠squeeze every fucking last dropâfeed your man, mâso hungry babyâ He growled once again, the rattling in his chest that made his voice so sexy and fueled you even further. Then you felt it, your orgasm cumming to you in violent waves as you twitchedâshaking underneath him. âYeah, thatâs my girlâmy tasty fuckinâ girl, give it to meâ
âDaryl! No! Stop! Too much!â He kept going, you pulled his hand away from your clit, pulsating and throbbing after your orgasm but he kept sucking into your hole trying to feed on your blood more and more. It keeps gushing out when you cum because your stomach keeps contracting and pushing the blood out. âDaryl!â
âJust let me finish it baby, just let me do it⊠Tastes so fuckinâ goodâshouldâve let me done it soonerâ He mumbled agaisnt your fluttering hole, scooping out the blood from the inside.
You felt like it was never going to end. As if he was going to stay there and eat your blood out of your cunt for the whole week.
Then it finally did. Thankfully.
âMhm, Iâll be doing the same shit tomorrow and ya canât stop meâ He wiped his mouth in a pathetic attempt to clean himself up. You just laid there, pupils blown as you pantedânot knowing what the fuck just happened, âYou fell better?â
âMhmâ You hummed weakly, as you closed your eyes hearing Daryl chuckle in amusement.
âCâmon let me kiss my pretty girlâ
âEw, no!â
âNow I know how girls feel like when boys don't let them kiss them after a blowjobâ
On a quiet night at Alexandria, the last person you had expected to turn up at your door suddenly appeared beaten and bloodied. However, he doesnât seem to be acting as normally as he would be.

a/n: yes hes droolin.
The night was eerily quiet, the only thing that could be heard was the low whistle of the howling wind and the hum of the cicadas buzzingâit was unusual. There would always be chatter up in the watchtowers, laughter from Sarah and Abraham as they talked about their futuresâyou didnât think anything of it. You were about to head to bed, before you heard a knock coming from your front door. You groaned as you slipped on your tank topâyou had always preferred wearing nothing to bed since the hot summer nights had become unbearing for you. The knocks started becoming harsher and louder, as you rushed downstairs yelling for them to wait.
You opened your front door as your jaw dropped.
Daryl stood there heaving heavily, drenched in sweat as his long hair stuck to his skinâthere was blood all over his neck, his handsâmost concerningly, his mouth.
âAre you bit?â Was the first question that slipped out of your mouth as you scanned his appearance, looking for any bite marks. His hands were clear, however you couldnât see his neck since it was covered in blood. âDaryl, are you okay?â
Daryl seemed dazed, looking at you through hazy eyes as he shook his head slightly. âCan I come in?â He croaked, a subtle lace of desperation was in his tone.
âWhat happened?â You questioned, you were still worried if he was infected. The blood however, looked freshâwalker blood would be darker, much older blood. Maybe he got attacked.
âP-please, let me in⊠there was a group of guysâI got attackedâ Your brows furrowed at his tone, it was unlike Daryl to be so⊠soft. âIâI just, I n-need someone with me right nowâ
âIâŠâ Your heart broke at his condition, maybe whatever happened was truly traumatizing for him to be acting this way, âCome in, DarylâŠâ You had missed the smirk that was carved in the corner of his lips. âWhy donât you freshen up, hmm? I donât have clothes, so youâd have to wear yours until you change tomorrowâ
Daryl mere hummed as he headed upstairs, you brewed him a pot of tea as you prepared your med kit to treat his wounds. A while after, Daryl came down and the blood was no longer on his body but still stuck to his clothes. You cringed slightly at the smell as Daryl chuckled.
âI can take it offâ His voice was low, already holding the collar of his shirt. Before you could refuse he was already bare. You felt your cheeks warm as your throat suddenly became dry, his body was sculptedâtoo sculpted for someone surviving in the apocalypse. You can see the scars scattered on his chest and abdomen, his tattoos andâyouâre staring. âYa need to check me anyways, right?â
âWhat?â You snapped out of it, Daryl smirked as he strided towards you slowly, âOh yeah, come⊠uh⊠sit down, Iâll try to treat your woundsâ
Daryl took a seat as he smiled at you, you cleared your throat as you started to feel heat crawling up your neck. You took his arms as you checked carefully, you hummed when you noticed there was nothing alarming, âCan you⊠umâlay down, I need to check your chestâ
âAlright, darlinâ He slurred, leaning back on the couch with his arms resting on the arm rest. You froze, your brain had literally stopped working. This was unusual. This was Daryl. Daryl who could barely meet your eyes when you're talking to him. Daryl who barely acknowledges your existenceâwho runs away when youâre in the same room with him. All this while you had thought he hated you or something. Now he is calling you pet names?
You were scared to meet his eyes, which was ironic. You cleared your throat once again, as your eyes scanned on his chest. You can feel your own heart beating in your neck and it is insane, you tried to seem calm but inside you were panicking. You could feel his eyes on you watching you every move.
âItâs w-weirdâ You acknowledge, âYou barely have a scratch on youâ Daryl had no wounds whatsoever, despite showing up looking like he went through hell. The good thing was, there were no bites or scratches so it dispels your worry about him being infected. To be honest, Daryl was one of the people you canât imagine getting bittenâheâs just that good at surviving
âMaybe you should see the other guy thenâ He challenged as you laughed softly, nodding your head.
âI donât doubt that,â You replied, âNo one should mess with Daryl Dixon.â You joked as you moved up to his face, you pushed his hair back as your arms got shaky. Daryl suddenly lowered his head, leaning in closer to you. Daryl was breathing in harder, as if he was trying to catch a whiff of something, âD-Dary⊠You okay?â
âYou smell goodâ Daryl muttered, getting up from the couch as his hand found the back of your neck, pulling you in closer to his nose, âSmell so fucking goodâ
âW-what are you doing?â You were confused but you made no effort to push him away. He just sat there, taking in your scent as your heart was rattling in your chestâyou could feel him breathing on your neck, the air hitting your clamming skin as you hitched. âW-what?â
You squealed when you felt the soft wet flesh of his tongue darting out of his mouth as he licked up the bead of your sweat and hummed in satisfaction, âI know you want meâ He growled deeply, tracing the veins with precision as you whimpered. âHe needs you so badly, youâre all he thinks aboutâyou invade his fuckin mindâ
âDaryl⊠W-what are you talking aboutâ You whispered shallowly, closing your eyes as you started to enjoy the feeling of his tongue against your neck. âHmmâŠâ
âBeen wantinâ ya⊠always wanted yaâ He sounded more like himself, his lips nipping at your skinâearning a mewl from you as he clutched on the material of the tank top you're wearingâas if he was suppressing something inside him. âIâm going to eat you, girlâand youâre gonna like itâ He whispered into your ear as you shuddered.
Then you saw itâDaryl was visibly salivating, dripping down onto your stomach as your shirt soaked up the liquid.
âD-DarylâŠâ You choked, âYouâre droolingâŠâ
Daryl chuckled darkly, swiping his thumb on the saliva as he looked at it, âYa want some?â His voice sounded animalistic as he pushed you down on the couch. You panted as he tore open your shorts with great strength. You opened your legs for him, feeling ashamed of yourself being so needy to be taken by him but how could you not? It was trueâyou had wanted him for a long time.
âI could smell ya⊠could smell ya the minute I took off my shirt. You were fucking drippinâ like a bitchâjust from my chest alone. I bet if I asked you to kneel for me and fuckin bark for this cockâyou would fucking do itâ He snarled, looking down at you like you were a whoreâyou felt like one but it sounded so goodâit sounded so sexy coming out of his mouth that it made you even wetter, âFuckinâ knew itâshouldâve fucked you sooner, huh?â His hand found your mouth, holding it between his thumb and fingers as he moved your head around like you were some dumb toy. You whimpered underneath him, your panties were soaked through. He moved down in between your legs as he tore it apartâanother garment ruined in his hands.
âIâI always liked you, Daryl. I thought you never liked me backââ
ââShut the fuck upâ His wrist snapped as he slapped your sopping cunt, your hips bucked up as you whined. Daryl leaned down, his tongue finding your thighs. He stopped as his teeth sunk lightly into your skin, âFuck!â He growled as he pulled away, wasting no time attacking your pussy. Daryl was like a starved man, he didnât ease you into itâhe dove straight in. You moaned loudly as your fingers found his hair gripping on them like a vice. He was messy, slurping and sucking on your hole until there was no juices that were missed. You shouted his name when his tongue found your swollen clit, abusing the bud as your body shook violently.
âDaryl! Daryl!â You chanted his name like a prayer, arching your back as he flicked his tongue faster, âIâm gonna cum, pleaseâDaryl!â You pushed his head in as he growled, grabbing your wrist as pinning it down to your sides. The sensation disappeared when he pulled his head away, âNo! Please!â
âYouâre not cumminâ no where but my cock. If I knew it was that easy for me, I shouldâve fucked you the first time I saw youâ You whined, as you felt yourself tearing up. Itâs been a long time, you havenât been with anyoneâyou havenât even got the time to release yourself so the denial felt like torture. Daryl laughed, noticing the tears falling down your eyes, âCâmon, girlâdonât cry now? Iâll give you sumâ so much betterâ
âP-please, Daryl⊠I need itâ You sobbed as he unbuckled his belt, wasting no time pulling down his boxersârevealing his throbbing shaft, slapping onto the base of his stomachâthe mere size of it made your eyes widened. You imagined Daryl to be bigâbut not this big. Now, you felt yourself salivatingâwanting to put his dick in your mouthâtaste his pre-cum, âL-let me taste y-youâ You pleaded, trying to get off your back but he simply pushed you back down, earning a yelp from you.
âNahâŠâ Daryl smirked, âIâm gonna give you something else to cry aboutâ He sounded menacing, like he was trying to instill fearâbut god, fear was the last thing you felt when you saw his cock. With a swift motion, Daryl turned you around so you were on all fours, he pushed your head down as he forced your ass upââThatâs a good girlâ Smack! He spanked your ass with his belt, it wasnât hard enough to hurt but it stung. You arched your back, desperate for him to put it in. He placed his tip to your entrance, teasing youââSo fucking wet, I bet itâll slide right inâ
âDaryl, just p-put it inââ Before you could finish your sentence he slammed his cock violently inside your pussy as you flutteredâgranting him so easily due to how wet you were. You screamed and you were sure the whole Alexandria could hear you but you didnât careâit felt too good, too good to keep your mouth shut. âF-fuck! Youâre too⊠too b-big!â
âI know baby⊠I fuckin knowâ He chuckled lowly, ramming deep and fast as you whole body would jerk back and forth. You turned your head to look at him and then you saw itâthe glow in his eyes. Your eyes widened because you definitely did not imagine that. Daryl noticed you looking at him, âKeep ya head forward!â He growled, leaning down as he wrapped his biceps around your neckâlocking your head in place as he choked you softly.
At this point of time he was fucking you so good that it completely slipped your mind, you could barely let out a noiseâanything that comes out of your mouth were brainless babbles and whines as the only thing you could focus on was the sound of his pelvis slapping onto your ass each time he thrustsâthe sounds were lewd, disgusting but it fueled you even more.
âThis cunt was fucking made for meâfuckinâ swallowing my cock. This cuntâs gon be mine foreverâIâm not letting you goâoh no, youâre gonna be stuck with me nowâ Daryl whispered into your ear as you whimpered, a soft yes as you nodded your head eagerlyâyou wanted nothing moreânothing more than to be his, âYeah⊠you want that donât you girl? Hmm? So fucking easy, such a fucking whore. All the others were begging for their lives but you? Nah, you? You would beg me to take your life, donât ya?â
You had no idea what he was talking about. How could you? His cock deep inside your belly, his balls slapping onto your clit with each thrust he madeâhad turned your brain into mush.
Then you felt it, your legs were starting to shakeâevery time his cock rubbed against your walls it felt more sensitive. Your toes started curling. Daryl was quick to catch on as he laughed at you, his other hand found your lower bellyâpushing it in, âOh myâoh my god, Daryl! Darylâno!â It felt too much, it was pushing on your bladder and it was a feeling you had never felt before. You cried into his arms as the overstimulation took over you, âDaryl! Stop! Iâm going to! Fuck, Iâm going to!ââ Liquid starting gushing out of your pussy like a broken faucet, just streams and streams dripping down your legs, dripping down Darylâs leg. You shook violently, your legs and body twitching uncontrollably.
âLook at ya, fuckin squirting for me like a fucking bitchâyeah, feels good doesnât it? Hmm? Tell me, tell me it feels good, babyâ He taunted as he kept thrusting into you, âCâmon, be a good girl and use your wordsâ
âIt f-feels so goodâoh my god p-please!â Your hand found his thighs as you tried to stop him from fucking you. Daryl grunted as he picked up his pace before his own hips started to stutter. The only thing you could hear was his growls in your ear. He snaps his hips one last time as you feel his warm seed planted deep inside your belly, coating your walls so perfectly.
He pulled his cock out, his cum gushing out of your pussy as he let out a moan of relief, he let you go as he buried his face in your neck.
âD-darylâŠâ You called out as you turned around, wanting to embrace him, âT-that was so good⊠Nobody had made me feel like that beforeâ You were panting, sweat was covering both your bodies, your hair was wet.
Daryl looked at you, his hands finding your cheeks as his thumb softly caressed them, âDo you want to be with me?â
âYes, of course I doâIâve always liked you⊠I never stoppedâ You confessed as he hummed, burying his head in your neck again.
âI want you too⊠and itâs funny because I planned to kill everyone hereââ
âW-what?â Your eyes widened, as you tried to pull away but he was strongâtoo strong, he just kept his head low, licking and nipping at your neck.
âShhâŠ. It doesn't matter now baby, itâs just you and meâdonât wanna waste such a good girl like youâ Something did not feel right, and it was stupid on how you had just registered it in your brain. The silence of Alexandria, the blood drenched on himâon his mouth, âDarylâwhat happened to you? Youâre scaring meâ
âI told you, it donât matter nowâyouâre gonna be a brand new personâ Those were the last words you heard coming out of his mouth, he raised his head one last time to look at youâThe glow in his eyes, his teeth had turned into sharp fangsâyou screamed in horror. Daryl kept you in place, his fangs sunk into your skin as you wailed in pain. Daryl hummed loudly, âI knew you would taste the bestâbut Iâm not gonna finish you up, and thatâs okayâ He laughed as he kept sucking on your blood until you started feeling faint. The last thing you saw was a monsterâfar more terrifying than the dead that roamed the earth.
sadly im a sucker for jealous daryl, i know he would look like a wounded pup :<
Same dude. That man could have any hole he wanted if he gave me that little kicked puppy routine.
Also, I would like to introduce the thought of Daryl being pathetically jealous, but youâre lowkey mad at him for something, so it looks something like this:
âYa ainât gonna leave me,â Daryl said, trailing behind you as you entered your shared bedroom. It sounded more like a question than a statement. You didnât respond. Of course, you werenât going to leave him, but if he was going to be a dick, he could suffer for a minute. Turning to give him a hard look, you realized he'd gotten close enough that you had to tilt your head back. Despite that fact, he still managed to look small, curling into himself as he stood over you.
"(Y/N)? C'mon, 'm sorry. Talk to me, darlin'," he said.
"Hhm," you hummed.
"Damn it, woman!" he snapped, voice suddenly going panicky. "Yell if you wanna. Scream 'til everyone comes bustin' in here. Just please fuckin' say somethin'."
When you met him with more steely silence, it was like a switch flipped. Daryl slid to his knees, wrapping his strong arms around your hips, and looked up at you with a wrecked, desperate expression. The look alone felt like a punch to the ribs. His big, blue eyes were filling rapidly with tears as his lips quivered around words he couldn't seem to get out. Before you could open your mouth to soothe him, he found his voice again.
"Please don't leave me," he sniffed. The misery was so thick in his voice that it stunned you into silence.
"You're still my girl, ain't ya?" he asked.
"Daryl-"
"Ain't ya? Please?" Daryl pressed his face to your stomach like he was too afraid to look at your face. Your heart shattered.
"Aw, baby, I'm still your girl," you said softly, running your fingers through his hair. His shoulders sagged, and he leaned into you with total relief. You couldn't have felt worse if you tried. Sure, you'd wanted to screw with him, but not this much.
"Swear?" he asked, muffled by your shirt.
"I swear," you said. Sighing, you cupped his chin and gently tugged him to look up at you. He came easily. The combination of hope and sadness in his face made him look like a freshly kicked puppy still wagging its tail.
"I'd never leave you, Daryl. I was just mad at you for that stunt you pulled out there. That was an overstep, though. I'm so sorry, baby," you said, stroking your thumb over his cheek. Leaning into your touch, he half-smiled at you.
"Probably kinda deserved it. I was bein' an ass," he said. He was, but that didn't matter now.
"Well, don't expect me to disagree with you being an ass," you teased.
"Shuddup," he said, but there was no bite to it.
"Alright, alright, but seriously, I love you. I'm still your girl." Pressing his cheek to your stomach, he sighed happily.
Did I hear someone ask for a teaser of my new ex boyfriend!daryl series? No? That's okay. Here it is anyway. I'm not done with the first part, but I figured we could all use some crumbs to get excited about. Enjoy!
Pairing: Ex-boyfriend!Daryl Dixon x Reader
Warnings: Not yet
âDaryl?â
All three men froze mid-struggle. Daryl viciously yanked himself out of Shaneâs grasp, shoving past Rick a second time. A little punched-out sound slipped from her mouth, and tears threatened over her lashes as he came closer.
âOh my god,â she breathed, âDaryl.â
âTook ya long enough,â he grumbled, voice tight with emotion.
Slipping his fingers over the curve of her cheek, he relished the warmth of her skin against his own. He couldn't remember the last time sheâd let him touch her like this. Hell, he couldn't remember the last time heâd tried, but he couldn't think about his past mistakes. Not when she was right there. Sweaty, tired, and in desperate need of a good meal, but there. Warm. Alive. Pressing her face into his palm like that was enough. He opened his mouth to say something. Maybe apologize. Maybe try to set things right. He did neither, cut off by the emotion knotting in his throat.
âYou don't understand how happy I am to see you,â she said, laughing wetly.
all my work is fictional, purely entertainment related and belongs to me.
Thinking of Daryl Dixon, whoâs a silent lover of you, or at least thatâs what it looks like to everyone else. Heâs never been upfront with his emotions, of-courseâthis wasnât including his often occurring irritation and anger. Everyone knows how he is, snippy and mean. So easily pissed offâby basically everyone.
It took a real thick skinned person to be able to hold a conversation with Daryl Dixon, or it just took you. Boot wearing, crossbow wielding, only ever known a rural lifestyleâDaryl Dixon. The others would hear the little things heâd say to you and gush at the action. âya wanâ somethinâ to eat?â or âyaâ looked cold.â the brute says as he hands you a worn-out blanket.
Oh how they all fawn and tease at the sight of the hard-headed and cutthroat savage, infatuated with someone as if he had all the time in the world, as if there was a world even left. âhe likes you yâknow, heâs just bad at showing it.â Carol nudges as you lean against the cool brick wall. âreally, you think so?â
you think itâs kinda funny to play along. To act like thereâs nothing more than a fling between you and him. Or just two people slowly crushing on each other during dire times. When in reality, this is forever, however long that is in this cruel world.
They donât know, how he holds you close and dear at night, clinging as if your being is what provides him air. They donât know how sweetly he kisses youâon the forehead, on the jaw and so on. How he brings back little gifts from runsâ a couple rabbits, some chocolate he found in the drug store. Once Daryl brought back a hard cover book, dropping it in your lap as you gaze up in grateful confusion. âfigured ya wanâ it.â
So yes, Daryl Dixon loves you deeply, just in his own unspoken little way.
hi, I really like the Daryl fics you have âĄâĄ how about one where they meet at Camp Atlanta, and Daryl looks at reader all the time, especially after she tries to get closer to him, nobody notices until Rick arrives and accidentally thinks that Daryl and reader are together, and when they go to look for Merle, Rick tries to talk to Daryl about it hoping Daryl will empathize and that's when he discovers that they are not together??? maybe it's too much, anyway if you write something (anything) I would like itâĄâĄ thanks ^^ sorry for the inconvenience
Just A Friend
Pairing: Daryl Dixon x female reader
Era: Season One
Summary: Daryl honestly believes that he has been able to successfully conceal his emotions towards you. However, when it takes only one second for Rick to perceive the rather interesting dynamic between the two of you (after only being apart of the group for a short period of time), Daryl starts to worry that his emotions towards you were much more obvious than he had intended.
Warnings: Fluff, swearing, and mentions of both violence and past abuse.

Daryl didn't particularly favor most of the other group members. Sure, he tolerated a few of the women, and Merle was his brother, but that didn't mean he truly enjoyed any of them. Typically, he just regarded them as strangers he had been forced to cohabitate alongside, simply due to the current circumstances. If society had failed to collapse, Daryl wouldn't have considered even glancing within the general direction of people such as Shane, Glenn, Dale, or any of the others. Christ, he could barely even stomach Merle before, and the two had literally lived together.
Yet, that just simply hadn't been the case. Instead, as the world continued to crumble from all around him, Daryl had been forced to endure the constant company of such a small community, well aware of the fact that remaining within a group was much smarter than attempting to survive alone during such events.
However, although he had begrudgingly accepted such a reality, that certainly didn't mean he had enjoyed it. Daryl did not become passive or even slightly civil amongst the others. He did not simply remain both silent or compliant in regards to the constant proximity of the group members. Instead, Daryl often openly expressed his negative emotions regarding the entire ordeal, whether that be through blunt behaviors or simply articulating his own opinions. In fact, there had been many occasions in which he had utilized some rather choice words when referring to the others, obviously not afraid to admit that they were actively annoying him.
Typically, Daryl was rather reserved, antisocial, and misanthropic around camp. He consumed each meal alone, blatantly avoided any form of shared conversation, and even attempted to ward the others away through the usage of a rather dramatic and harsh demeanor, honestly believing that if he behaved absolutely unpleasant, the other group members would promptly distance themselves entirely upon their own accord. Daryl savored the rare occasions in which he was provided with any form of alone time, often even going out of his way to achieve such solitude. Whether that be through the usage of unnecessary hunting trips, or by abruptly barricading himself within the confines of his own tent, he obviously wasn't afraid to distance himself.
According to Merle, his baby brother had always been that way. Even as a young kid, Daryl was prone to simply removing himself from any form of social interaction, no matter how rude or disrespectful his abrupt absence may have been perceived as. Since the moment in which he was born, Daryl had always been both aloof and reserved. In fact, during the first few months of his life, his parents had even considered the possibility that maybe something was wrong with him, due to the reality that he rarely ever cried or fussed, as most babies did. Yet, his silence probably wasn't the result of simple relaxation or comfort. Instead, it was most likely due to his parents constant torment, the fact that they would immediately punish him the second he displayed any sort of needs.
"There he goes again." Merle would drawl with a smirk, attempting to somehow embarrass Daryl whenever he would suddenly wander away from camp, in search of any form of solitude "Throwin' another one of 'is tantrums 'cause it's too loud for his sensitive little baby ears." Regarding Daryl as if he was some sort of emotional kid simply searching for attention through the usage of both dramatic and obnoxious behaviors.
And now that he had been practically forced to occupy every single second of the day constantly surrounded by others, his antisocial tendencies had only further intensified.
The constant proximity was driving him absolutely insane, causing Daryl to yearn for even just a brief moment of solitude. Suddenly, he was utilizing every possible excuse, no matter how childish they truly were, simply in order to gain some sort of alone time. Whether that be by going to sleep much earlier than anyone else, or awaking long before the sun had even graced the morning sky, Daryl would utilize every possible second of silence to his own benefit.
Of course, everyone else had immediately perceived his rather avoidant tendencies. Whilst the other members of the group would be participating within some sort of group activity, whether that be during a shared meal or whilst washing their clothing within the quarry, Daryl would always be absent. If someone had even dared to offer their company during one of his various hunting trips, he would immediately reject such an invitation. And they certainly weren't ignorant to the numerous occasions in which Daryl would just outright demand that someone were to leave him the fuck alone.
Yet, there was seemingly one exception to this social rule of his: You. Not the children, who required much more protection and surveillance. Not even Merle, his literal brother. No. Just you.
"The fuck I look like tah ya? A damn babysitter?" He'd growl towards Lori after she had suggest that he was to take Carl hunting with him one day, in order to teach him some rather important survival techniques, especially within todays world.
"This ain't God damn Lord of the Flies; I don't need ya to watch me fuckin' sleep." Daryl would huff after Glenn had been kind enough to offer to keep watch by his tent one evening, due to the fact that Daryl's sleeping area had been positioned much farther away from the rest of the camp, causing him to become easily accessible to any sort of woodland threat.
But God forbid, the mere second in which you had even mentioned learning to properly hunt, Daryl had failed to even briefly protest. Rather than pushing you away or immediately rejecting such a notion, just as he would have done with any of the others. Instead, he had simply allowed you to join him. During your adventure, Daryl had taught you a few basic techniques in regards to successfully utilizing such a weapon, explaining that it was the safest and least obnoxious option. The two of you had talked, chatted, and even laughed together, which was an extremely rare audio for anyone to perceive.
Of course, once you had first decided to accompany him, Daryl had released a grumble of audible irritation, muttering beneath his breath in an attempt to appear both frustrated and vexed. In all honesty, most people annoyed him; shared conversations were boring, spending time with others had been regarded as tedious, and even the mere notion of further bonding with someone new was utterly draining. Getting to know people was something Daryl had compared to a chore, a monotonous task he often attempted to avoid.
However, specifically in regards to yourself, for some odd reason, he had felt much differently.
Surprisingly, your rather talkative and energetic personality had failed to simply annoy or irritate Daryl, as such a demeanor usually would have. Instead, your warm and welcoming behaviors had greatly excited him.
Maybe it was due to the reality that you did not just simply focus upon basic topics such as survival, rations, and your own personal concerns. Each of your thoughts did not revolve entirely around protection, safety, and the restoration of society. You failed to constantly complain about your own struggles, fears, or the lost life you now mourned. Instead, amongst a constantly decomposing world, you had still possessed some sort of optimism.
Such hope had not been directed towards attempting to repair humanity or somehow resolving the current situation. Rather, it was almost as if you had simply accepted the entire circumstance, and were trying to make the best of it. Compared to Lori, Shane, Andrea, and all of the others, you did not constantly complain or whine. In fact, it was as if you were the last remaining remnants of normalcy, typically chatting about your nightly dreams, silly memories, and the things you loved. Out of all of the other group members, Daryl had decided that you were the only one who was actually interesting.
When you had first requested to join him, even though Daryl appeared both annoyed and frustrated. In all honesty, he was the least bit upset. In fact, as the two of you begun to traipse into the wilderness together, he had desperately attempted to conceal the soft smile of excitement that was currently etched across his features by subtly tilting his vision towards the ground below him.
Everyone else had simply assumed that Daryl would dislike you, due to your extremely contradicting personalities. Whereas Daryl was gruff, quiet, and rather rude most of the time, you were the complete opposite: Happy, positive, and energized. They predicted that he would regard you as naive, childish, and foolish, due to your often carefree behaviors. Out of everyone, you surely should have been the main person to piss off Daryl, with all your constant happy-go-lucky bullshit.
However, the reality was almost the exact opposite.
Although Daryl was often visibly annoyed and irritated by the mere existence of others, usually resorting to simple avoidance. In regards to yourself, he had immediately accepted your company, within his own, Daryl Dixon fashion of course. Sure, he certainly wasn't jumping up and down with joy whenever you managed to greet him every morning or offer to join him during each hunting trip. However, he was a lot less jaded and snarky in regards to yourself, which said a lot.
Almost instantly, Daryl had allowed you to accompany him almost everywhere, whether that be throughout various scavenging missions, dinner around the camp fire, or even during the numerous late nights in which he was much too stressed to properly sleep. He allowed you to follow him around like some sort of lost puppy dog, all without any form of protest. Instead, quite the opposite: He almost seemed happy. The two of you would talk, chat, and even laugh together. In fact, the first occasion in which Dale had perceived the audio of Daryl's gruff laughter after you had shared a stupid joke amongst each other, the older man had honestly become somewhat frightened, worried that Daryl had been secretly attacked by one of those creatures, and such signs of joy were the initial symptoms of the disturbing transformation. Appearing genuinely happy wasn't natural for Daryl, so obviously, something was amiss.
Christ, he had even become so accustomed to your constant presence, even growing to honestly enjoy your company, the singular occasion in which you had failed to immediately offered to join him upon yet another hunting trip, Daryl had instinctually turned towards you and asked "Well, are ya comin'?" Obviously, his features had immediately flushed with embarrassment as soon as he perceived the manner in which the other group members peered towards him, silently judging him as if he might have been replaced by some sort of identical copy of himself that previous night, a much less quiet and reserved version of himself.
And the more you had attempted to successfully acquaint yourself with him, the more Daryl found himself searching for you. As much as he hated to admit it, he actually didn't mind your company, often even looking forward to the time in which the two of you spent together.
Whilst consuming breakfast each morning, Daryl would often discover his vision instinctually dancing across camp, silently observing you from a far. At night, upon the evenings in which it was his turn to keep watch, he would promptly situate himself as close to your tent as possible, in order to successfully defend you (in case of an emergency), without becoming too obvious of course. Even during rather intense events, the rare occasions in which a group of stray walkers may have accidentally stumbled upon your quaint little community, you were the first person he would search for, simply in order to confirm your safety. In all honesty, in regards to most of the other group members, Daryl couldn't have given too shits about their own survival, certainly not afraid to sacrifice them in order to save both himself and his older brother. And, for some odd reason, you as well. In fact, Daryl probably would have allowed himself to become some sort of chew toy for one of those monsters before they managed to lay even a singular finger upon yourself.
Sure, maybe it was corny and foolish, but there was just something about you that was different. Throughout the expanse of his entire existence, Daryl had despised most others, actively attempting to completely remove himself from society. Previously, he had disliked individuals he would have regarded as much too cheerful, nice, and even obnoxious. Maybe it was due to the current circumstance, the rapid decay of humanity causing his mind to become jumbled. Yet, whatever the reason may have been, your rather warm behaviors (a personality he would have previously regarded as annoying) had successfully provided Daryl with an unfamiliar sense of delight. In all honesty, he had enjoyed your strange form of optimism, cherished your almost intense companionship, and for the first time within a very long while, someone made him genuinely happy.
Initially, when Rick had first joined the group, Daryl had been extremely skeptical. Of course, he had always been a rather cautious individual, well aware of what society was truly capable of, no matter how kind the people around him may have appeared. Especially now, he certainly wasn't ignorant regarding the fact that, without any form of a proper government or legal punishment, society would swiftly devolve. Whilst encountering such an extreme version of despair, humanity certainly wouldn't be afraid to steal, fight, or murder for what they desired, especially when there was no longer any form of penalty. Lacking any form of enforced order, society was now allowed to do whatever they pleased.
Even worse, Rick was an officer, a specific category of civilian that Daryl had been taught to hate since birth. His parents had always claimed that law enforcement officers were corrupt, vile, and evil. And due to the manner in which Rick barged in like he owned the place, waltzing around within his stupid little uniform, barking orders like some sort of power hungry drill Sargent, was even more concerning. Daryl had regarded his foolish game of dress up as absolutely idiotic, even borderline crazy. Didn't he know the world had ended? There was certainly no need for such social status anymore. Within todays world, a stupid metal badge was completely useless. In fact, such a job title was now comparable to jumping from a plane with just an umbrella for support.
As soon as he discovered that Rick had basically left his brother for dead, Daryl was even more enraged. Sure, Merle was annoying, patronizing, and extremely irritating, someone he would typically describe as an asshole. However, such treatment was completely inhumane. For someone who constantly preached about both community and unity, Rick easily abandoned such ideology the moment in which it no longer benefited him.
In fact, Rick even had the nerve to act as if he was the crazy one, like Daryl had been simply over reacting regarding the entire, fucked up situation. God, he was beginning to hate this Rick Grimes character more and more with each second that passed.
Yet, he could tolerate such treatment from Rick, he was a complete stranger after all, and possibly even insane at that. In all honesty, Daryl wasn't too concerned regarding what a grown ass man dressed like a stupid cop had thought of him. And sure, the fact that a majority of the other group members had seemingly supported Rick (despite the reality that Daryl had been apart of the camp for much longer) was somewhat irritating, but he could manage. However, the most painful part of the entire situation was the manner in which you had observed Daryl.
As both Rick and Shane had struggled to successfully detain him, physically forcing him to the ground as he continued to both struggle and argue, like he was some sort of rowdy inmate, Daryl had done just as he always had: Instinctually searched for you, desperate for any form of comfort. Yet, as soon as he discovered the expression currently etched across your features, brows furrowed and vision uncertain, an empty pit had immediately formed within the depths of his stomach. You were currently gazing towards him as if you were completely disappointed, a hint of sorrow glimmering across your irises as you silently pitied him. And God, it absolutely shattered Daryls heart.
A warmth of shame instantly exploded across his features as soon as Daryl perceived your attention, his struggle suddenly ceasing in an attempt to somehow redeem himself. Even just the notion that you were even slightly disillusioned by him, the possibility that your perspective had instantly shifted, had caused Daryl to physically freeze, his vision basically glued to your own.
Rick had offered his assistance, willing to resolve the entire situation, all whilst he admitted no sign of blame, basically demeaning Daryl with the utilization of such a calm and mature tone, as if he was the one acting childish. Typically, Daryl would have refused, becoming both frustrated and stubborn as he rejected any form of assistance, simply in response to his own anger. However, as your vision continued to practically burn holes into the side of his skull, Daryl had begrudgingly agreed.
And besides, if Rick had been the one to initiate such a mess, then it was his responsibility to resolve the entire ordeal.
As the group of men began their journey back towards the city, it was becoming increasingly obvious that Rick possessed even the slightest sensation of regret. Sure, Merle had been behaving irrational, dangerous, and violent. However, stranding him on top of a random building, unable to successfully escape from the confines of the handcuffs, was comparable to that of murder. And as much as he had attempted to appear both calm and composed, Daryl's blatant distress was extremely upsetting. Of course, it hadn't been Rick's intention to actually harm Merle, just to somehow force him into obedience.
Therefore, in an attempt to somehow reconcile the entire relationship, Rick had initiated a bit of polite small talk. Of course, if he had known any better, Rick would have been well aware of the reality that this was a poor choice, due to Daryl's rather reclusive personality. In fact, such verbal confrontation would probably only further enrage him. Yet, he was determined to make amends, to avoid accidentally tarnishing the possible friendship before it had even gained the opportunity to actually form.
"So uhm, what did you do before all this?" Rick had suddenly inquired, whilst both Glenn and T-Dog strayed behind, the perfect opportunity to share both a proper and civil conversation with Daryl.
Of course, he had been attempting to act both kind and polite towards Daryl, to offer some sort of truce through the usage of simple conversation. Honestly, it truly hadn't been his intent to actually abandon Merle during such an intense moment. Rick had only planned to detain him long enough for the other man to properly relax. The unexpected group of walkers and accidentally losing the key had never been intentional.
However, Daryl had failed to properly respond, simply relying upon a low growl of irritation, within the same manner a temper mental house cat may grumble as some sort of warning. Yet, Rick had failed to successfully surrender, much to determined to simply give up. Instead, he had swiftly shifted towards a much more serious topic, a subject in which no man could ever easily ignore: His girlfriend.
"You and (Y/N)..." Rick started, hesitating for a brief moment as he considered exactly how to properly word his following question. Obviously, he had perceived the reality that Daryl was the prickly type, someone who was easily irritated, offended, or annoyed by others. And of course, accidentally managing to insult his girlfriend would surely only further enrage Daryl. This was a sensitive subject, and Rick was determined to avoid further spoiling their possible friendship. "How long have the two of you been together? Like, did you meet before or after everything happened?"
Now, this inquiry had appeared to successfully capture Daryl's attention, a topic he was unable to simply ignore.
Rather than remaining completely silent, as he had in regards to Rick's previous question (of course, other than the small, cautioned growl he had released before). Instead, Daryl's vision immediately flickered towards Rick, brows furrowed and a hint of confusion actively glimmering across his irises, as if he was attempting to somehow decipher the other man and his obvious antics. In all honesty, Daryl appeared rather perplexed, upset, and a bit frustrated as well, like such an inquiry had accidentally irritated him.
"What?" He asked, voice both short and cold, threatening the verge of anger.
Such an inquiry had been completely innocent, certainly not a strive towards further offending Daryl or somehow inducing any additional doubts. Within Rick's mind, selecting such a basic topic had been comparable to conversing about hobbies, movies, or interests. Honestly, Rick had only been attempting to bond with Daryl, to resolve their previous tension through the usage of simply small talk. However, due to the manner in which Daryl currently appeared completely vexed, Rick worried such a subject might have accidentally upset him once more, and he certainly wasn't prepared for yet another scuffle.
Obviously, Daryl was very territorial and protective regarding those he truly cared for: First, it had been Merle, the entire situation causing him to become instantly enraged. And now, it was you, just the simple mention of your own name had caused Daryl to become both tense and cautious, as if the mere notion of another man treading onto his territory had immediately managed to irritate him.
Of course, in response to such a visible reaction of irritability, Rick had frantically attempted to defend himself, desperate to avoid another confrontation.
"I didn't mean anything by it, swear." Rick swiftly explained, a hint of urgency laced within his tone "You two are just really cute together and I wanted to know the story. Just trying to get to know you better, man."
Maybe he had been much too quick to judge, failing to provide Rick with a proper chance before he had instantly become skeptical of the new group member. Sure, Rick could have possessed some redeemable qualities, such as a quick and reliable decision making process, or admirable leadership abilities. Yet, simply based upon his interesting outfit selection and the fact that he could be perceived as somewhat bossy and arrogant, Daryl had instantly decided to dislike him. Christ, Merle constantly tormented both himself and everyone else, but Daryl had failed to properly dismiss him within the same manner he had ignored Rick, before even getting to know him. In all honesty, Daryl was the most familiar with Merle, and he was well aware of the reality that maybe his older brother had deserved such treatment.
Or, it was entirely possible that such a defensive reaction regarding the mere mention of your name was extremely concerning. If you weren't his girlfriend, then there was absolutely no reason for Daryl to behave so protective. Yet, for some odd reason, he had, and he surely didn't want any of the others to become even slightly intrigued by his rather fond emotions and strange actions towards yourself.
Whatever the reason may have been, it had caused Daryl to become rather sheepish and nervous, immediately attempting to conceal the evidence of his own embarrassment. He instantly shielded his flushed features as his vision flickered towards the ground blow him once more, head hanging low and properly shrouding his current expression of shame. An annoyed sigh suddenly slipped from his lips whilst Daryl finally allowed his shoulders to relax, as if to display his obvious form of defeat.
"Well don't bother. There ain't nothin' there. She's jus' a friend." Yet, he had remained as sassy as ever.
Sure, Daryl could recoil, to refrain from any form of additional protectiveness regarding yourself. However, in an attempt to maintain his somewhat dismissive and reserved personality, along with warding off any further suspicion from Rick regarding his emotions towards you, Daryl relied upon a prickly form of frustration once more, just as he always had.
"Oh..." Rick had muttered, sounding genuinely surprised "I just thought... Never mind."
Rick had ultimately decided to simply disregard the entire topic, especially following such a dramatic reaction from Daryl. Obviously, there was something between yourself and Daryl, something both fragile and sensitive that had certainly intrigued Rick. If the two of you truly weren't dating, as Daryl had claimed, then why did the two of you act as if you were? However, for the sake of his own safety, along with the fact that he was still determined to resolve the possible friendship, it was probably for the best if he were to just forgot about the whole topic.
Besides, once Rick had successfully managed to repair the entire situation, along with form a proper friendship between himself and Daryl, he could always broach such a touchy subject once again within the future.
However, despite the fact that Rick had seemingly surrendered, providing Daryl with the proper escape that he had so frantically desired, it was obvious that Daryl wasn't as accepting. In all honesty, he had always wondered how others viewed the entire situation between him and yourself: Was he as nonchalant as he had intended to behave? Or, were his emotions towards you crystal clear? Obviously, if Rick, someone who had just recently joined the group, was able to discern such an interesting dynamic, then so could the others, right?
Unable to ignore the tingling sensation of curiosity that had plagued him for months at that point, the flush of embarrassment currently glazing his features had only further intensified as Daryl suddenly pressed for any additional information.
This entire time, had it really been that obvious?
"What on God's green Earth made ya think tha' in tha first place?" He suddenly asked, gruff voice piercing the thick silence. His tone was so low, Daryl was basically whispering, only further displaying the fact that such a topic was obviously a secret.
Sure, he had relied upon a weak form of defensiveness, a faltering hint of anger trembling upon his tongue as he allowed his inquiry to support a bit of venom. However, despite the fact that he had concealed such a question beneath a mask of frustration, spitting poison in an attempt to avoid any further suspicion, his obvious curiosity regarding such a topic was completely undeniable. If the two of you truly weren't dating, then Daryl had absolutely no reason to be so inquisitive. Yet, he was, and such blatant intrigue certainly wasn't assisting him within his goal to remain completely careless.
Daryl was unable to dismiss the warmth of shame that slowly began to spread across his features before venturing down the column of his neck, infecting his entire form with utter embarrassment. He allowed his vision to remain glued to the ground, attempting to shield the obvious evidence of his current anxiety. Sure, he should have just remained silent, in order to avoid any further suspicion from the other man. Yet, he just had to know.
"I-I don't know." Rick nervously stammered, frantically deciding upon the most delicate words, concerned that just one wrong phrase might cause yet another brawl. Daryl had been instantly frustrated in response to his previous inquiry. Yet, here he was, seemingly allowing the conversation to prevail? Obviously, this was some sort of trap, right? "The two of you are just always together or lookin' for each other. And to be honest man, you only ever seem happy when you're with her. So, I just thought..." His voice trailed off, obviously referencing something he was much too scared to verbally mention once more, due to Daryls previous reaction.
The pair were utterly silent for a few moments, completely mute as Daryl digested such information. This entire time, had he really been that obvious? Every occasion in which he had secretly observed you from across camp, perceiving the manner in which your kind smile never failed to delight others, the way in which you attempted to maintain moral despite the constant berate of the world, was his attraction so clear the whole time? And if Rick could perceive his affection, could everyone else as well? Had you noticed too? If so, did you feel the same? Or were his emotions entirely unreciprocated? God, all the possibilities were causing his brain to ache and his heart to sink.
"Well, whatever you thought, you were wrong." Daryl had finally responded, deciding against simple sincerity, to possibly search for any form of reassurance from Rick, and ultimately relying upon defensive frustration, just as he always had. Anger never failed to protect him from pain.
However, despite Daryl's obvious irritation, Rick wasn't so easily fooled. Sure, maybe Daryl was strong, rough, and honestly a bit intimidating at times, and it was entirely possible that such anger had managed to repel those around him. Yet, Daryl's immediate rage was obviously just some sort of defense mechanism, an attempt to conceal his true emotions. There was absolutely no reason for someone to behave constantly temper mental and frustrated, if they weren't attempting to protect themself.
Yet, of course, Rick had simply failed to argue. Sure, an additional conversation may have revealed the truth, possibly managing to force an honest answer from Daryl. However, such assertive tactics certainly would have only further pushed Daryl away. The initiation of such an interaction hadn't been focused upon deciphering the mystery regarding the relationship between yourself and Daryl. No. Instead, it had been an attempt to somehow remedy the entire situation, for Rick to resolve the tension and begin forming a proper friendship with the other man.
Therefore, Rick had decided to rely upon the same sassy technique as Daryl had. Maybe meeting him on his level would somehow ease Daryl's stress. And besides, fighting back would only manage to expose Daryl's true feelings.
"Alright, whatever you say." Rick had muttered, a smirk of victory quivering upon his lips.
hii i love your blog and your fic so so much and i was wondering if you could write something with daryl having a crush on his bestfriend reader and he finds out that another guy has a crush on you as well? hope you have a nice day you are very lovelyđč
hi angel đ€ that means so much to me, thank you! i think daryl gets jealous way too easily because of his low self confidence :( so much so that it's for no reason at all sometimes... i hope you like what i came up with!
âž» đŁđŻđ°đ”đČ đŁđŸđ°đȘđŹ.
đđđđđđđ ... 5.2k. daryl has been extra tense and broody since merle got left behind in atlanta. due to an unfortunate misunderstanding, you involuntarily become the object of his irritation.
đđđđđđ ... when i showed up and he was there / i did my best to grin and bear / she spreads her love / she burns me up / i feel the pain so physical / wait 'til the day you finally see / i've been here waiting patiently / think twice 'fore you touch my girl / come around, i'll let you feel the burn / come around no more!
Daryl is so, so glad that you're here.
If you werenât, he isnât sure heâd be handling that whole Merle situation as well as he is right now. This sheriff guy arriving and immediately leaving his brother behind to die was a harsh blow. Sure, they went back for him â but it was too late. Nothing kills Merle but Merle, is what he exclaimed with some twisted sense of pride when they stepped onto the rooftop, only to find a chopped off hand in a pool of blood. But in reality, that fact isnât all that relieving to Daryl. âCause itâs not all that unrealistic that his brother is gonna get himself killed.
Yeah, if you werenât there, heâd feel even more shitty about this whole thing. Good thing you are. He wouldnât like sitting in front of the smaller campfire a few trees away from the group all alone. And you two go way back, after all. Right back to the trailerpark.
That doesnât mean he doesnât feel like crap, though.
Because right now, the campfire next to his and Merleâs tents is discarded. Instead, you made him sit here with the rest of the group, chatting away like they hadnât just lost a valuable member. And youâre not exactly here, but over there, laughing with this guy he doesnât even know. New arrival or some shit like that.
With your damned optimistic ways, youâd probably insist that itâs still a good thing because seeing you like that, all smiling and happy with this douchebag, has him forgetting all about his brother.
He canât deny that he hasnât thought about anything but you over the whole course of dinner, which consisted of some canned beans and those squirrels he brought back in the morning. But he isnât any less agitated than he was this morning, when Shane told him they left Merle behind, no.
Arguably, itâs worse. Because seeing you like that has him reliving that painful realization once again: heâs never gonna have you. Youâre not his, and you never will be.
And heâs being so unfair about it, too. He used to be convinced that friendship was enough for him. After all, you were the best fucking friend he could wish for. He doesnât deserve you, really.
But, you see, itâs gotten to a point where he can barely be near you anymore! He gets way too caught up in his head, doesnât know what to say, how to act⊠The apocalypse didnât help with that â itâs still the same.
God, heâs such a coward. Doesnât even have it in him to go over there and join you, no matter how loudly his body screams at him to be close to you.
No. Instead, Daryl is stuck over here, pretending to sharpen one of his arrows while the light evening breeze carries over the voices from across the fire. He could pick yours out of a line-up anyday, doesnât even have to look to imagine your stunned expression as you listen to Loriâs husband recollect his steps leading to the quarry.
âAnd you really had no idea the world had ended while you were in that coma? Like, there wasn't any occasional waking up at all?â
âWell, I donât remember anything like it, at least.â
âI always figured gunshots would be do something in a case like that.â You must be smiling now. âYâknow, self-preservation instincts and all that.â
âIâm telling you, I was completely out. Was one hell of a shock to wake up to⊠this.â
âHowâd you know where to look for them?â
âWho?â
âLori and Carl.â
â⊠I donât know. Guess there wasnât much else that mattered enough to search for it.â
âMhm⊠I can imagine. Everyone has someone special theyâd cross hell to get to, huh?â Your voice is soft now, and Daryl feels like throwing up.
âRight. Only hell didnât use to linger behind every corner, that is.â
âWell, weâre glad that you made it through and found us, Rick! What are the odds of that happening, huh? Of all the places you couldâve ended up atâŠâ
âGuess I just got lucky.â
So. Rick, then. The reason his brother was rotting away somewhere in Atlanta, surrounded by corpses and Daryl was left with only so much as his severed hand.
Fuck, he didnât even think youâd be into guys like that. Married ones who used to be cops. Didnât you bail him out all the time when Merle dragged him along into trouble? No one at the trailerpark had been particularly fond of the police. Not even you, who wouldnât even commit a crime on accident, sweet as you were.
Daryl busies himself with aggressively sharpening the arrow. Scowls at the wood like it personally offended him, but everything is better than going back over there. Even though itâs gonna be dark soon and itâs already getting harder to see what heâs doing. Well, if he cuts himself, so be it. Merle lived through worse, after all. Survived after chopping of his whole hand.
Probably.
Bitterly, Daryl casts a glance at you by the fireside. And scoffs. Youâre still sitting by that guy.
Honestly, he always thought someone like Glenn would be more your type. Kid is like you, with the friendliness and optimism. You know, not all rough around the egdes. Not like him. Just, normal. And a bit of a dork, again, like you.
But now youâre getting all close and friendly with this guy instead? Well, fuck him. Heâs also a bit old for you if Darylâs being honest. Like, the man has a kid, for Christâs sake. Not like youâre not great with kids, itâs justâ
Well. That doesnât matter in the long run. Rick just reunited with his wife, after all. So even if itâs obvious to everyone in the camp that Loriâs been getting it on with Shane lately â thereâs bound to be trouble once that confrontation ensues, because Shane doesnât seem the type to back down â heâs taken.
Man, Daryl is not looking forward to being your shoulder to cry on about this. âThisâ being your newest little unrequited crush. Heâs done enough of that already and it always hurts the same, so, no. He swears that he isnât going to comfort you through your heartbreak this time. Though deep down he knows he always will.
Oh â shit. Youâre looking over. Darylâs ears begin to burn as he quickly averts his eyes. Fuck... Did he give himself away? Did he stare too long?
Way to go, man. Way to go. He grinds his teeth as you make your way over, drawing cirlces into the earth with the blunt end of the arrow heâs still clutching. Sure, youâre making a bad choice once again, but that doesnât give him the right to stare at you like some otherworldly creature all night. Ugh, he really is the worst.
âDaryl?â
You donât sound like youâre about to call him out.
Reluctantly, he lifts his head. âWhat?â
For a second, he almost forgets he was mad at you at all. Because you sit down next to him on the tree log all casual, like your side isnât pressed up against his. And then you give him that dazzling smile, the one that almost makes him forget that youâre only friends.
Honestly, with all these important facts being sucked out of his brain, itâs a miracle he still somewhat functions around you.
âOh, nothing. I was just wondering how you were doing!â
âYa couldnât make a guess from over there?â He sneers, grabbing his crossbow from the floor to pretend to check the string.
You pause, taken aback. It occurs to Daryl that youâre used to him being like this, and he feels bad for a second, because you just brush over it like he wasnât being kinda mean and dismissive. Then again, maybe you just donât care âcause youâve got other people to worry about.
A shrug. âGuess I just wanted to see for myself.â You attempt to cheer him up with another smile, elbowing his side softly.
He doesnât feel like answering. Just grunts in reponse, without ever lifting his eyes from the crossbow. But you donât say anything either, just continue to assess him with your perceptive eyes, which always gets him all tense, so heâs forced to make a move.
Exasperated, he drops the arrow. âAnd? Ya did, didnât ya? Donât gotta stick âround no longer.â
You purse your lips, and he knows immediately that youâre a bit hurt, though you donât let it on. Heâd feel bad if it wasnât for the fact that youâve been⊠well.
Serves you right.
âActually, I needed your help with this, too.â Your voice is steady, but colder than before. Wordlessly, you hand him a can of beans.
He eyes it warily, doesnât make any sign of taking it. With a groan, you shake it, urging him to take the can. âWill you just open it?â
Daryl scoffs. âWhaâ? Ya canât even get a can oâ beans ta open? Fuck, girl. No way yer gonna survive the apocalypse like this.â
He sees something flash in your eyes. A pang of guilt shoots through his heart, but heâs not about to back down. Glares right back at you, until you avert your gaze, lips pulled into a tight line. âYouâre really not going to help me?â
Daryl scowls. âWhy donât ya go ask him instead.â He uses the arrow to point at Rick across the campfire. Wordlessly, you get up and walk away.
Up to this point, he was conflicted about what he should do. Itâs hard to deny you anything, if heâs being honest. God, he wishes he could open every single can of food for you foreverâŠ
Images flash before his mind, scenes he has spent years imagining. A life together, dreamt up since about the time he got to know you. Heâd die for this kind of domesticity, even though he really isnât the guy for it normally. Not in the way that Rick propably is. With a steady job, some big house in the suburbs and a fancy ring on his finger.
Sure, itâs the apocalypse now and that shit donât matter anymore. Of course, he always knew the two of you were never going to end up like that. But still â your hand would look so pretty adorned with a silver bandâŠ
Okay, maybe he overreacted a bit just now. Should he call you back?
But before Daryl can make up his mind, he realizes that youâre actually making your way up to where Lori, Shane and Rick are sitting. You did sit there before, but stillâŠ
Something fiercely protective flares up in his chest. And heâs up in no time, marching after you. Canât let you embarrass yourself, he tells himself. Stupid cop is taken, after allâŠ
All broody, he storms over and before you can reach the small group, he has caught up with you. Before you can say a word, heâs tearing the can out of your hands and opens it with a loud crack.
âThere."
And then youâre beaming at him like the earlier conversation never happened at all. Daryl was just being weird again. He gets like this sometimes, but itâs nothing new, really!
Plus, you know heâs still shaken after losing Merle. The mere thought makes something acidic turn in your stomach. It must be worse for Daryl⊠After all, that was his brotherâs hand they found up on the rooftop. He must feel terribly untethered, and this on top of harboring antisympathies for the group already. Must have been a heavy blow.
So â you thank him extra sweetly.
Meanwhile, Darylâs systems absolutely collapse. You hugged him real tight and gave him a kiss on the cheek in front of everyone else⊠And he can still feel his skin burning where your lips touched it.
Dazed, he stares at you before finally tearing his gaze away and staggering off to get his crossbow. Thatâs his cue to leave, then.
He goes to sleep that night all confused and a bit bothered, unable to shake off the phantom sensation of your kiss. Falling asleep is absolutely out of the question.
Instead, heâs suddenly plagued by the thought of you being like that with other men. Like, getting all up 'n close and kissinâ on them and stuff like that. Now or whenever really, maybe after Lori chooses Shane, he doesnât care, just, fuck, he knows itâs gonna happen someday.
And that he wonât be ready for it at all, âcause apparently he canât even handle a simple hug after years upon years of friendship.
Suddenly, Daryl feels 20 again, pining after you while youâre completely oblivious to it. Which is good, âcause youâre happy and still the best friend he could wish for, even though youâre dating someone. But heâs still stuck hating your stupid boyfriend for getting to kiss you, even though it was he who introduced the two of you in the first place. God, he hates himself for that! And he feels bad for it.
Like, he wants you to be happy, of course, itâs just⊠He really didnât think youâd fall for that guy. Heâs not your type at all! Hell, Daryl met him at one of the shabby parties Merle always dragged him to. Actually liked him at first, that is, until you raved to him all evening about the man's pretty arms. Ugh. That guy is just like him, thereâs even a physical resemblance! You deserve so much better.
At the same time, youâre lying in your tent, contemplating everything that happened today. God, you miss the way things used to be. Rickâs reunion with Lori and Carl mustâve really made you a bit sentimentalâŠ
Itâs just, you wish you had something like that. Before, maybe⊠a husband and a child and a real life. Domestic things. Just â a real family. Of course, you did have one, it just wasnât the white picket fence type at all. Really, you only ever felt at home with Daryl. Even his brother grew on you over the years, and thatâs got to mean something in Merleâs case!
Honestly, your life from before hadnât been ordinary at all. You were kind of a loser â though you never felt like it. It was different. You were happy. Drifting with Daryl, bound to nothing and no one, except him.
Of course you wouldnât be anywhere near getting married like that.
⊠But that was a made up reason.
Truly, you knew that you wouldnât have gotten married even if the world hadnât gone to shit overnight, because, well⊠You had already found your soulmate.
He just wasnât the type for relationships.
You donât know what brought you to his tent. Maybe the sudden flare-up of buried feelings, maybe the need for emotional intimacy and familiarity after seeing Lori and Rick. Maybe it was the fact that you â fantastically â missed Merle and wondered where he had wound up. Well, whether he had wound up anywhere at all or if he was currently getting torn apart by hungry corpses. That was it, probably; and on top of it, the fact that you could only imagine how Daryl felt, who had simultaneously loved and hated his brother way more than you did.
One way or another, youâre here now. Might as well find out if you had been right to worry. Hesistantly, you pull up the zipper of his weather worn one-man tent.
You didnât know exactly what you expected to find, but this was very much not it.
When you peeked inside, you were met with the sight of your best friend lying on his blanket, empty eyes staring blankly at the fabric of the tent above. So attentive and lost in thought that it looked like he was studying something in the dark that no one else could see.
The sight broke your heart all over again. You had never seen Daryl look so⊠weak.
Without saying a word, you close the zipper behind you, plunging the two of you in darkness without the fickle light of the campfire outside.
It takes a while for your eyes to adjust to the gloom. But when they do, you see that heâs already looking at you. Neither of you say a word, but something flashes in his eyes as they meet yours. Itâs impossible to define â hesistation? Restraint? Longing?
But when your eyes get a little watery and you stay quiet, itâs gone. He sits up instead and immediately pulls you into his arms. And then, suddenly, it feels like youâre kids again, scared and alone, clinging to each other to not drown.
Thatâs what makes tears well up in your eyes. The fact that, in spite of everything⊠youâre still like that. Grown up and the same nonetheless, even though the world is crumbling to ashes all around you. Itâs always been broken for the two of you. Maybe thatâs why you adjusted without any difficulties.
Daryl rocks you gently, one hand stroking your hair. Keeping your face buried in his neck. Your fingers are clenched against his shoulders, but with every passing second, they relax, until youâre running your hands along his back in an attempt at comfort. Itâs always been his most vulnerable spot.
You feel so held. Itâs the same position as always. He allows you to close your eyes to the world, you allow him to exist in a space without being seen. To cling to your body like itâs a whole different universe.
And like that, you comfort each other worldessly. Until youâre lying next to him, staring at the tents ceiling as well. With the same blank eyes, memories shimmering underneath.
Every tension from daytime has been long forgotten. Itâs safe for you to break the silence.
â⊠Are you also thinking of him?â
He hasnât been able to think of anything else since Atlanta. Daryl swallows something that had been raising in his throat. Only gives a small nod in the darkness instead, and a hoarse âMhmâ.
A bit of silence follows. You reach out to hold his hand. A beat, then you break the silence with a whisper. âHe survived. He has to.â
⊠âMerleâs tough.â
You squeeze his hand. âYou know⊠in a way, thatâs really fucked up. So many people died, but weâre the only ones grieving him. Wondering where he is, if he made it. How he made it.â
âWouldâve been the same even if the world hadnât ended.â
⊠âThink youâd be able to grieve for anyone from the group if the day came?â
âDon't know.â Daryl ponders on it for a moment. His voice is hesistant, but youâre pretty sure he will. Heâs always been more emotional than he lets on.
âItâs terrible, not knowing what will happen.â
âGuess ya are right âbout that.â
⊠âWhat do you think of Rick?â You sound like you genuinely care to hear his opinion, and heâs surprised about that. Pulls his hand away, and all of a sudden, thereâs a crack in the air. Like itâs broken right between the two of you, pulling you apart. The tent feels smaller somehow.
You look up at him, surprised.
Daryl sneers, âWhat, ya want my blessings?â
You frown. âHuh?â
âBeen sweet talkinâ that guy all day.â
âI have no idea what you mean. I was trying to get to know him, yeah. Donât you think we should make connections with the people weâre probably gonna die with?â
Daryl scoffs bitterly. âMaybe I just ainât all that desperate for connections as you are.â
You sit up, trying to get a better look at him. âDaryl, what is going on with you? Youâve been acting weird the whole day!â
âWeird? Thatâs what ya think? That Iâm being weird?â He huffs, crossing his arms. âNot everyoneâs able ta lose someone theyâve known fer years and think of nothinâ but their silly little crush all day.â
You feel hurt. After being vulnerable like that, this is what he thinks of you?
Thereâs no helping your voice sounding cold when you respond. âI have no idea what you mean. Losing Merle is hard on me too, you know? Quit acting like youâre the only one with feelings!â
ââCourse, yaâd know all about feelings, wouldnât ya?â
He sneers at you, giving you a mean glare. Despite knowing better, you feel insecure all of a sudden. A crush⊠could he meanâŠ? You thought you hid it pretty well, giving that itâs been taking up more than a little portion of your life since your early twenties.
When you don't make any sign of replying, Daryl scoffs.
âYa ainât actinâ like it, anyway. That stupid cop is married, anâ ya still give him more attention than what happened to Merle.â The words have left his lips, and itâs as if heâs been freed of a heavy weight.
Finally, it clicks. And you stare at him in disbelief.
âRick? You think I have a crush on Rick?" Itâs so ridiculous, you almost let out a bitter laugh. But youâre still hurt that he assumes something this bad about you despite having known you for years. So you only look at him with offense.
Daryl feels his ego deflate all of a sudden. His shoulders drop, and he returns your stare. Wants to say something, but there arenât any words left. Not the right ones, anyway.
âYaâ ya ainâtâŠ?â
âI canât believe that after all this time, you canât read me at all.â
â⊠âm sorry.â
Darylâs gaze drops to the blanket. He suddenly realizes how mean he was being all day. Refusing to open a fucking can of beans for you⊠Pathetic. His face feels like itâs on fire and hot guilt gnaws at his flesh. Of course, he wasnât right to talk to you like that. Letting his pent-up frustration and all the anger out on you. While youâre genuinely grieving and scared and his shirt is still damp with your tearsâŠ
Heâs the worst. God, heâs an idiot. And there he was, wondering if heâll ever have a chance with you and looking down on other men who might be interested, while heâs proven himself unworthy of even your mere friendship again and again.
But of course, you know him well enough to guess the thoughts racing through his head.
Thatâs what you think, at least. He was hurt you didnât feel the same pain he did⊠When he just didnât see it, blinded by his own loss and hesistance, by the belief that you probably would skip being sad about losing Merle for the sake of getting to know new, more normal people. The kind you never would have gotten a chance to meet in the loser life you led with him back then. The life he believes is below you, while you loved every second of it.
No matter how well you know him, you miss the most important part.
Daryl flinches as a gentle hand lands on his shoulder. He looks up, only to be met with your smile. Instantly, all his shame and worry melts away.
â⊠Heâs not my type at all.â
Thereâs weight to your words, he realizes that. They express more, all the gentleness and honesty with which you take his fears away. And all his racing thoughts come to a halt.
But he, too, misses the most important implication. It flies straight over his head, and heâs too distracted by your pretty smile to see it.
And like that, youâre in each otherâs arms again in no time at all, the fight instantly forgotten.
The two of you just work like that. Thereâs rarely moments like this, but when they happen, the matter is resolved within minutes. Though you couldnât really call it completely resolved â at least judging from how your hearts are erratically beating out of your chests as you lie down back to back. Sleep doesnât find any of you for a long time, and itâs got nothing to do with how cramped the small tent is.
Daryl for his part is dying to know what your type is. Heâs been wrong so many times now that apparently, he doesnât know you that well at all. And heâd like to know which guys to steer clear off â or not to introduce to you, at least â though deep down, he knows itâd be way too painful hearing that truth out of your lips.
You, personally, just overthink whether he knows youâve been thinking about love a lot, even if it hadnât been Rick occupying your thoughts.
It goes on like this for a while. The both of you shuffling around, trying to find a comfy position to sleep in. And it ends as always, with you curled up against his chest, because thatâs the only way both of you will be able to catch some sleep.
Daryl is so, so glad youâre here. If you werenât, he isnât sure heâd be handling the whole situation as well as he is, right now. And that already isnât very well at all, he realizes. Heâs spiraling â but youâre here. Even if you canât stop it. Youâre here. To distract him if neccessary, and watch over him to make sure he doesnât let his anger take over again.
And he swears to himself that same night, drifting into sleep with your warm body against his, thatâs heâs going to become better at being just as reliable for you.
âSo Carol and Ed are married, Amy and Andrea are sisters⊠Dale really isnât related to them?â
Lori shakes her head, leaning back against her husbandâs chest. âNo. He didnât have any children, I donât think. His wife died of cancer. Before, I mean.â
Rick hums, arms tightening around Loriâs body. âSeems like a peaceful way to go.â
â⊠Do you wish you'd died in that hospital?â Her voice is steady, but quiet. She stares right ahead at the children playing nearby where she and Rick are catching up in private, leaning against a tree. The question had been burning on her lips ever since he had arrived at the camp and thrown her heart into confusion.
Rick pauses for a moment. When he speaks, his voice is steady and assured, rumbling deep in his chest. âNo. I couldnât bear it. Not with you and⊠and Carl⊠Out here. No, I donât wish I was dead.â
Lori squeezes his hand, to signal that she understood. She thought so⊠Of course. Rick loves his family. But no matter how reassuring it is to hear these words out of her husbandâs mouth, she doesnât feel as relieved as she thought she would. Sheâd gotten used to the grief, and him coming back nowâŠ
Rick must have sensed how heavily the topic weighed down on his wife. Swiftly, he cleared his throat, letting his eyes wander over the camp again. âSo⊠thatâs all the couples, then? What about them?â
He nods into the direction of you and Daryl by the fireplace.
Loriâs heart instantly grows lighter. Her eyes twinkle as she observes the scene over there.
âNot a couple. Donât ask me how.â
Rick frowns. âYou sure? I saw them leaving his tent together this morning.â
She shrugs. âI think theyâd make a cute pair. Know each other from before, too. Apparently, thereâs some sort of history.â
âHistory?â
âI donât know. Maybe they gave it a try and it didnât work out.â
Both of them grow quiet as they watch the scene by the fireplace. You and Daryl had finished cleaning up the ashes and moved on to putting the stones in order again.
That one look alone is enough for Rick and Lori to silently agree that itâs impossible it wouldnât work out.
Lori smiles at the sight of you cheerfully showing Sophia, who has come running towards you, how to arrange the little rocks in a circle.
âYeah, sheâs an absolute sweetheart. Babysat Carl a lot, sheâs been great help.â
âShe seemed nice yesterday,â Rick nods. âLetâs hope they figure it out. Might make him a bit more docile.â
He chuckles. Yeah, he got to know you, but Daryl is a whole different story. He seemed so⊠rough yesterday. Grumpy, too. But now? Heâs following you across the camp like an obedient dog, carrying a pile of laundry to the lake behind you.
Rick is already contemplating how to improve the group dynamic, and this definitely would make everyoneâs life a hell of a lot easier.
And as youâre leading him to the lake, Darylâs looking at you with this special kind of gaze⊠Lovesick. No way this is just because heâs known you for a long time. He hasnât seen the hunter look at anyone else without scowling.
But then youâre watching him walk away into the woods â to get some more firewood, Rick guesses â and youâve got the same expression! Which is more than confusing to him, who has only gotten to know Daryl on the surface. Though to be fair, the rest of the group doesnât know him much better.
Darylâs back minutes later, the crossbow slung across his back with a bunch of twigs under one arm, dragging the corpse of a deer behind him with the other like itâs no sweat at all.
And you? To Rickâs disbelief, youâre jumping up and discarding the laundry to help him transport his catch to the fireplace. Without so much as a blink as you grab one of its legs like it isnât a dead animal.
Rick tears his eyes away, shaking his head. Gives his attention to Carl instead, whoâs running towards him with a big smile and shouting something about a frog he caught.
Yeah⊠Thereâs no way this wouldnât work out.
thank you for reading! i'd love to hear your thoughts. make sure to leave a comment đ€
daryl dixon as your loser boyfriend ïŒÂŽâïœ''ïŒ
àČ daryl lets you hold onto him, but doesnât really hold you back. at least, not for the first few months. heâs stiff and awkward, just letting you cling to him as long as you need.
àČ refuses to ask for advice in how to show affection, so he ends up making a fool of himself regularly. once gave you a bloody squirrel as a gift. âdinner,â heâd said, holding it up as it dripped onto the wood floor.
àČ poor thing canât handle your flirting. never knows what to say back after you call him handsome, or compliment on how âyummyâ his arms look. he just grunts, waves it off, but his stomachâs in knots.
àČ when daryl does something romantic, youâre blushing and giggling, but your reaction makes him groan and take it back. a grumble of âoh my godâ after you call him a romantic. âi take it back.â
àČ but he is romantic, just not in the traditional sense. heâll make sure youâre fed before even thinking to feed himself. heâll move like a guard dog at the first hint of danger. and yeah, on an occasion, heâll hum you to sleep, kiss your forehead, or squeeze your hand. just donât acknowledge it, or heâll probably stop.
àČ really a german shepherd as a man.
àČ you want him to have nicknames for you, but he rarely even refers to you by your name. or at all, really. you should know when heâs talking to you. doesnât quite get it when you ask him to, saying âwhy would you wanâ be called a bunny? yâainât prey.â oh, if he only knewâŠ
àČ you know he doesnât do well with emotions, so you often insist that youâre okay when youâre not. you tell him itâs okay to leave you to self soothe, but daryl wants to learn how to help. he starts small, just sitting nearby while you cry. maybe he rubs your shoulders, or strokes your hair. he doesnât offer words.
àČ reluctantly indulges your late night ramblings, even as he rolls his eyes or groans, âgo to bed.â
àČ always asks permission before going further in any sexual situation, even if youâve said yes a million times.
àČ gets shy when heâs horny. poor puppy doesnât know how to ask, but he desperately wants to sink into you. usually, his arms come up behind you, and he softly grinds against your backside. youâll tease him about being needy, to which heâll grumble âshut upâ in response.
àČ refuses to stop until youâre satisfied. even if heâs shooting blanks, sore, near tears, he wonât let up until he knows youâve had your fill.
Y/N, reading a book out loud: "And as the gentle breeze blew through the orchard, Eleanor pondered the deep, aching solitude of her fragile, shattered soul.â
Daryl, intensely focused on a motorcycle carburetor: Mm.
Y/N: "She looked up into the twilight sky, wondering if true love would ever find its way back to her quiet, modest farmhouse.â
Daryl, wiping sweat off his brow with the back of his hand: Mhm, real tragic. Pass me that wrench.

Daryl, choking on air: Whoa, whoa, hold on! The hellâre yâreadin'?
Y/N: "âwhere she ached for him. Her dampâ"
Daryl, aggressively snatching the paperback out of her hands to squint at the cover: Gimme that! The hell is this shit? Thought ya was readin' âbout a farm!
Y/N, with big, innocent eyes: It takes place on a farm. Lord Sebastian owns the land andâ
Daryl, glaring at the cover, ears turning beet red: Pulsatinâ shaâ? That ain't how people talk!
Y/N: You want me to skip to the part where they're in the hayloft, orâ
Daryl, throwing the book as far as he can from the garage and immediately scrambling for any piece of literature he can find: Hell nah! Here. Sâa manual for a generator. Jesus.

Daryl had already been in a sour mood. The one thing he had wanted when he got back from the bullshit that was his run with Rick was you. You were the cure to all his issues. One look from you and heâd be A-Ok.Â
But imagine his utter surprise when heâs walking up to you and he sees this man, this unknown, completely unneeded man standing over you with a smile that could only be described as disturbing.Â
Daryl knew you. He knew you better than he knew himself. He didnât have to worry about you, but he did have to worry about this mutt trying to piss on his lawn.Â
You felt him before you saw him. He had that effect. You swung your head around to face him, that same bright smile filling your face that always did whenever you saw him.Â
âI didnât know you were back,â you spoke in that soft voice that was strictly reserved for him. Whoever that guy was, he was long forgotten. Only to you though. Darylâs eyes had not once stopped drifting back and forth between you and that man.Â
âWhoâs this?â He questioned, finally stopping at your eyes.Â
âDan,â the slightly shorter, but just as stocky man held his hand out.Â
âDan,â Daryl repeated in a mocking tone.Â
âDar,â you whispered, pressing a reassuring hand on his forearm. âDan was just telling me about how he knows a lot about agriculture. Said he studied it in college. He wants to help out with the farming here and Hilltop.âÂ
Daryl peered over at Dan before shrugging absentmindedly. âYeah, we can send you to Hilltop.âÂ
Far, far away from you, he thought to himself.Â
âI was actually thinking of taking a trip to Hilltop soon,â Dan smiled. Pearly whites despite being in a literal apocalypse. âMaybe you can join me? Just us two..âÂ
Daryl didnât miss the look that was thrown his way. It almost made him sock Dan right then and there, but he knew you wouldnât have that.Â
âOh, just us?â You looked between him and Daryl. âI donât really go on trips without Daryl though. We work well together. ThereâsâŠorder. You know?âÂ
Dan gave you a tight-lipped smile and nodded.Â
âWe actually have to get going,â you offered a polite smile. âYou should talk to Laura. She kind of leads the whole agriculture thing around here. Sheâll get you connected with Maggie.âÂ
Daryl looked back more than a few times as you led him along, satisfied, or almost satisfied.Â
âHow long did you stand there talking to him?â He slammed the front door harder than he meant to.Â
âMaybeâŠthirty minutes?â You tapped your chin. âI donât know. I started spacing after he started talking about inviting me to his house tonight.âÂ
That made him come to a complete stop at the steps. He whipped his head around to look at you with a very evident repulsed expression.Â
âKidding,â you laughed, toeing your boots off. âHeâs annoying, not bold.âÂ
âSânot funny,â he sneered. âWhy would you say that?âÂ
âBecause you get so worked up, baby,â you exhaled and ran your hands over your thighs as you sat on one of the stools at the counter. âI donât even know why.â
âHe wasââ he cut himself off, trying to find a reason to justify his own emotions. Everything he tried to come up with in his head sounded stupid out loud. âYou were just standing there, lettinâ him smile and flirt with you.âÂ
âOh, so youâre blaming me now?â You raised a brow and crossed your arms.Â
âNoââÂ
âBecause that sounds like what youâre doing,â you cut him off. âI didnât ask him to come over there and start talking to me. In fact, I tried to walk away, but he stopped me. Is that my fault too?âÂ
âHowâd he stop you?â He paused. âThat asshole grab you?âÂ
You rolled your eyes and stood up. âYouâre really annoying sometimes, you know that, right?âÂ
Darylâs frown grew as you stepped around him and moved down the steps. He followed you down, watching as you undid your ponytail and ran your fingers through your hair.Â
âDonât come down here accusing me of anything else,â you murmured, plopping down on the end of the bed. âIâve been out in the heat all day. The last thing I want to do is argue.âÂ
âNot arguinâ,â he shook his head, caging you in between his legs. He was wrong to even think of taking his jealousy out on you. It wasnât your fault you were so damn beautiful that everyone wanted a piece of you. âDonât like other people even thinkinâ they got a chance with you.âÂ
âThatâs also not my fault,â you swallowed softly, leaning your head to the side as he pressed slow, wet kisses down your jaw.Â
âI know, baby,â he pushed his face into your neck. âDoesnât make it any easier.âÂ
âThat sounds an awful lot like a personal problem,â you pulled back, searching his face. âBut youâre upset, arenât you?âÂ
He hummed softly and nodded, tangling his fingers in your hair.Â
âCan I make you feel better?â you followed his body with your eyes as he stood up straighter.
âYeah, âcourse you can,â he growled, tightening his hand around your hair to force you to look up at him.Â
You nudged him back softly, undoing his belt buckled and the button of his jeans before tugging them down and sinking to your knees in front of him.Â
Youâd never admit it outloud, but of course you enjoyed him getting jealous. You liked knowing that he got upset whenever someone tried getting at you. It just made him even more attractive.Â
Call it toxic, call it crazy, but he was yours and you were his. It just worked that way.Â
He met your eyes through your lashes, then moved down to your swollen lips that were wrapped around him, eyes fluttering shut every time you took him deeper. It was a sight and it was not helpful in keeping him from releasing right into the back of your throat.Â
His body leaned forward slightly, pushing his length deeper as his hand cradled your face, thumbs brushing against the hollows of your cheeks.Â
âMm, fuck!â He pulled you off quickly, tossing his head back as he tried to catch his breath. âFuck, baby. Câmere.âÂ
He pulled you up and into a sloppy kiss, his fingers digging into your sides. Yeah, there would probably be some bruises there later.Â
You felt his hands work at the button of your jeans before sliding into your panties, his middle finger slipping between your folds and teasing your clit. Your body arched into his, your lips parting as a shaky, breathless moan escaped.Â
âDar, pleaseââ you panted, nails leaving crescents in his shoulders as you held yourself up. You could feel your legs tensing as you got closer and closer to climax.Â
âLie down,â he groaned, unbuttoning his vest as you sat back. His eyes darted all over your skin as you pulled your worn out t-shirt over your head and tossed it somewhere in the room. His arms reached around you, undoing your black bra while he alternated sucking on the dip of your shoulder and jaw.Â
He pushed you down so you were flat on the bed, slotting his leg between both of yours to open you up so he could get a good look.Â
âFuckinâ perfect, baby,â he exhaled, pushing his thumb between your folds and spreading them apart.Â
You whined softly when the pad of his thumb brushed against your already sensitive bud and your hands lifted to reach for his face but his free hand grabbed them and pressed them above your head and against the mattress.Â
âAinât you supposed to be making me feel better?â He hummed, lifting one of your legs onto his shoulder before pressing a soft kiss against your ankle. âLet me enjoy this.âÂ
âShouldnât you be making it up to me as well?â you grumbled, letting your fingers interlace with his above your head. âYou hurt my feelings.âÂ
Daryl hummed softly, pressing a few more kisses against your ankle before taking himself in his hand and running the tip through your folds. His hand came up and his thumb pressed against your bottom lip, resulting in a huff from him when your lips wrapped around it without any need for directions.Â
ââSpose it canât hurt no one,â he grunted, sliding just the tip in before pulling it out completely and repeating the motion a few more times while he watched you wriggle in anticipation.Â
âStop playing around. Please,â you used your free leg to wrap around his hip and force them forward, but it was no use. Daryl was enjoying every bit of this.Â
Could Dan get you to act like this? Could he get you all worked up and begging for his cock like this? He didnât think so.Â
No, only he could see you like this. Only he could have you spread open like this.Â
âYou ready?â He rasped, sinking in slowly after your very eager nod of confirmation. His head fell forward as he bottomed out, his shoulders tensing and breath faltering. Your moaning combined with the way you were gripping him was damn near enough to make him come right there and then.Â
âOh, ohâŠâ you shuddered, arms and legs wrapping tightly around him, wanting to have him as close as humanly possible.Â
He started thrusting slowly at first, but it wasnât long before he was snapping into you with every muscle fiber in his body. His grunts and groans, your moans and cries, and the sound of skin slapping was all that filled the room.Â
You were squeezing him like a vice, your teeth sinking into his shoulder as you tried to stop your body spasming from pleasure. You could feel the tightness coiling in your lower stomach and from the way Darylâs pace became unsteady and untimed, you could tell he was just as close.Â
You were drowning in so much pleasure that you could practically see stars.Â
âIâm soâfuck!â Your eyes squeezed shut as the coil burst.Â
âSâall mine.â Daryl panted as you came around his cock, thrusting a few more times before sinking deep into you and letting himself go. You could feel him filling you up. A weird, but not completely unwelcome sensation.Â
He laid on top of you for a while, all 170 pounds, give or take, of him keeping your body pressed against the mattress. Both of your bodies were slick with sweat, the sheen only making you look more and more beautiful in his eyes.Â
âYeah?â He lifted his head up slightly, letting his eyes land on your face.Â
âWhat?â You mustered up a weak smile despite how exhausted you were.Â
âSâall mine?â He repeated, palming the fat of your ass as he brought your leg up over his hip,
Your face softened and your smile grew a little. Then your hand pressed against his cheek, fingers swiping at the hair stuck to his forehead.Â
âYeah, baby. Iâm all yours,â you whispered, kissing his cheek. âAlways, okay?â

âAin't gonna be good at this,â Daryl mumbled, already hovering over the top of you, shirtless and sweaty. The flush youâd thought looked so pretty on him spread distractingly down his chest.
"No, no, you're doingâfuckâyou're doing great. So good, baby,â you panted. Reaching up, you pried his hand away from the blanket he'd been white-knuckling, running it down your body until it rested between your legs. You rolled your hips slowly, allowing him to feel the gathering wetness. His eyelids fluttered lightly at the contact.
"Feel that?" you asked.
"Hell, woman, you're tryin' to kill me," he said. His voice cracked. Nerves or anticipation, you couldn't tell. You smiled anyway, soft and warm. This was further than you'd ever gotten without him clamming up or cumming in his pants before you could get them off. Honestly, you were proud of him.
"Feel how wet I am?" you continued as though he'd said nothing at all. "It's all because of you, Daryl. Because you're making me feel so good."
"Fuck, really?" he rasped, hips canting helplessly.
"C'mere," you said, tugging him gently by his belt loops. He shuffled closer, awkward but enthusiastic, moving on unsteady limbs.
"Now what?" he asked.
"Now we get your pants off," you said.
"Right, yeah, lemmeââ He fumbled with the button of his pants, barely managing to pop it open and having even less luck with the zipper. You very nearly laughed before forcing it down.
The last thing you wanted was for him to think you were laughing at him. You weren't. Not really. There was just something so charming about this big, gruff man who you'd watched take down walkers and game alike without so much as a blink, blush and pant like a teenager all because of you. Little old you. God, you were lucky. When you were sure the threat of your laughter had passed, you took his hands gently in your own and pushed them aside. You could feel the hitch in his breathing more than you could hear it as you pulled the zipper open and tucked your fingers into the waistband of his underwear.
"This okay?" you asked, looking up at him. Part of you was waiting for him to pull away, overwhelmed and shy for one reason or another. Instead, you found him staring back, intense, with a puppy-like desperation to please.
"Fuckin' great, justâjust...please," he said, voice going quiet and whiny. A little thrill shot up your spine.
"Jesus, Daryl, you're trying to kill me," you breathed.
With that, you pulled his underwear down and let his cock spring out. Nearly identical small, punched-out sounds left both of you. Equal parts relief and excitement. Hitching your legs up around his hips, you pulled him even closer, guiding his tip to your entrance. The wet slide made you both moan. Suddenly, he was curling against you, dropping his burning face onto your shoulder.
"Ahhhh, FUCK! I can'tâshitâm'sorry," he whined, bucking his hips, cock sliding against your folds, catching your clit with every thrust.
"Shh," you hushed shakily. Petting his hair, you fought to rein in your scrambled thoughts as pleasure coursed through you. One of you needed to be in control, and it wasn't about to be him.
"Ain't gonna last," he said.
"Yes, you are, baby."
"I ain't. Fuck, m'sorry!" The slick sound of his own erratic thrusts and your shaky moans only seemed to spur him on.
"You will. You wanna keep making me feel good, right?" you asked. He nodded, hair tickling your face.
"Y-yeah."
"You wanna get me off?"
"Please."
"Then I need you to be a good boy for me and wait. Can you do that for me, baby?" you asked, keeping your voice sweet but firm. A pathetic sound clawed its way out of his chest, the kind you didn't think he was capable of making, but his hips slowed.
"Yeah, m'good. I'll be good," he panted.
"I know you will," you said, reaching between your bodies to grip his cock again. He shuddered, but held still while you guided him back to your entrance.
"Can I move?" he asked. Painfully sweet insecurity bled through his question, as if he were at a total loss for what to do.
You tightened your leg across the small of his back, drawing him into you with a wicked little smile.
"Slow," you said.
"Slow," he repeated.
As he pushed into you, you decided then and there that all other men were ruined for you. No one ever had or ever would measure up to Daryl Dixon. Not for his prowess, but for this. The mix of his broken, heady groan and palpable desire for you and only you was enchanting. Intoxicating. Bordering on a religious experience. You pressed messy kisses to his scarred shoulder and hoped he could feel the praise in each one. When he finally burried himself to the hilt, he held himself there, quaking in your arms.
"There you go," you whispered between kisses.
"Ah, shit," he hissed.
"How's that feel, baby?" you asked. He let out a half-delirious little sob.
"Feelsâoh shit you're tightâfeels...I dunno," he babbled. You knew exactly how he felt.
"God, your cock is perfect. Filling me just right," you said, breathless. Squeezing around him, you moaned quietly in his ear.
"Shit, don't! Ain't gonna last if you keep doin' that," he warned.
"Don't need you to last now, baby. Just need you to fuck me," you said, soothingly, stroking his hair.
"Oh."
Whatever thread had been holding his last scrap of control together snapped. Wrapping himself around you, he practically pinned your arms to your sides, driving into you like a man unhinged. No rhythm. No set pace. Just chasing pleasure in a primal way that made your stomach flip. Whining, he mouthed at your neck, teeth scraping a little too roughly, but you were too close to care. The feeling snuck up on you dizzyingly fast. The telltale coiling in your stomach. You clamped down around his cock, throwing your head back.
"Squeezin' me so damn tight. Oh fuck, are you cummin'?" Daryl asked. His genuine, reverent awe tipped you over the edge.
Pleasure ripped through you with blinding intensity as your pussy fluttered in odd little patterns. You howled, heels digging into the small of his back as you thrashed and bowed your way through a seemingly endless orgasm. You weren't sure you'd ever stop cumming, even as your limbs went a little numb and your thoughts evaporated. The world around you disappeared save for Daryl's wild thrusts and needy babbling you couldn't make sense of in your fuzzy mind. Though after a minute, your orgasm ebbed and you forced yourself to focus on his words.
"'M I doin' it right?" he asked.
Turning your head, you burried your face in his sweat-damp hair, nuzzling softly at his ear. It was as much as you could give him with your arms pinned to your sides. You scraped your teeth against his earlobe, trying to find words in your muddled brain as his cock pounded in your hypersensitive pussy. Delicious overstimulation prickled over your heated skin, high moans pouring out of your mouth instead of the words you'd meant to say.
"Please talk to me. Like it when you talk to me," he said. Some half-door in your brain opened for him, and finally your brain reconnected with your mouth.
"Good boy," you whispered shakily.
"Yeah, 'm your good boy," he whined.
"I'm so proud of you, baby. Lasted so long for me," you said. He sobbed, arms tightening around you. He was close. You knew without him having to say it. Tears ran in hot trails down the side of your neck as he fucked into you hard enough to scoot you both up the bed. You cried out with every thrust, though your voice was overshadowed by Daryl's high ah-ah-ah's.
"Gonna cum. Can I? Please? Inside?" he begged.
"That's it. Go on. Cum in me, baby. Be a good boy and fill me up," you said, verging on begging yourself.
He went silent. For a split second, you were worried that something was wrong. Then his mouth opened against your shoulder, a strangled gasp tumbling out as his body locked up and a sudden heat flooded you. He was cumming with stiff, uneven jerks of his hips until you could feel his head loll like it was over. Slowly, he started to pull out of you, and you relaxed against him, rubbing your nose into the space where his neck met his shoulder.
He slammed back in.
Your body spasmed at the unexpected motion. A new wave of pleasure washed over you. Too intense. Too sharp. Too much. The sound that burst out of you was high and animal. You sunk your teeth into the meat of his shoulder without meaning to, looking for a way to deal with the new onslaught of sensation. Daryl made a sound that was half delirious panic and half sobbing. He fucked into you like he couldn't help it, hiccuping like he was in pain.
"'M sorry. Canât stop," he whimpered.
"Don't," you gasped, "Don't stop."
"Too muchâshitââs too much!" His body said otherwise. Another cry tore from his chest as he sped up impossibly. The wet, heavy slapping where your bodies met was obscene. So loud you wondered if people could hear you outside.
"Good boy. Fuckin' me so good," you said.
Another orgasm was building quickly. You felt like you were on fire, something molten racing through your veins that made your back arch. Daryl was right. It was too much. And you loved every second of it. Twitching, you fought unsuccessfully to pry your arms out of his grasp so you could hold onto him. You needed something to ground you. There was nothing. Just Daryl's endless pounding and sharp spikes of pleasure.
"Gonna cum again," Daryl panted.
"Me too. Close."
"Fuck, please. Wanna feel it. Bein' so good f'you."
Suddenly, you were cumming again. Blood rushed in your ears, your abused pussy clenched around Daryl's cock, and you lost all connection with your limbs as they writhed and twitched. A flood of heat filled you for the second time, and you knew somewhere in your dim thoughts that Daryl was cumming too. Both of you rocked through the aftershocks, neither quite all there in the wake of your orgasms.
"Holy shit, Daryl," you said when you finally remembered how to use your mouth.
"Mmm," he grunted.
"Yeah," you laughed, "Mmm, to you too."
"Was thatâdid yaâwas that good?" he asked, insecurity lacing every word. You heard the underlying question. The real one.
Was I good?
Wiggling your arms out of his lax grip, you pulled him the rest of the way down beside you. He went easily. Gentle shifting brought him into a comfortable position with his cheek smooshed against your chest. You carded your fingers through his hair, smiling at his red, tear-streaked face.
"You were perfect, Daryl," you said, cupping his cheek gently.
"Well, uh, good. That's real good," he said, cutting his eyes away and leaning his head into your hold.
"Really," you insisted, "That was the best sex I think I've ever had."
"Shuddup. Don't go blowin' smoke up my ass," he said. For all his grumbling, you could feel the smile he was trying to hide curve against your palm.
"Daryl, if you can make me cum twice, talking about 'ain't gonna be good at this', I can't fucking wait to see what you think good is supposed to be," you giggled. He snorted, nudging you with his knee.
"Yeah, yeah, don't go gettin' your hopes up," he said, snuggling up to you. You laughed, settling in with him, letting your tired body fully relax.
âToo late, baby. They're sky high. But youâll be good for me then too, right?â you teased. The last thing you heard before dozing off was Darylâs cute sputtering as he burried his face back into your shoulder.
