I know it's not his birthday anymore & he passed away a few years over a decade ago, but I'm still not over it.

Just a yearly reminder that if you support PETA

(an organization that has a 30 - 50 million dollar a year annual budget, & 1% actually goes to helping animals) (oh not to mention the fact that roughly 90% of animals brought into PETA shelters are euthanized within 24 hours, 6% are ever put in homes) (but wait, there's more, they're also notorious for LITERALLY STEALING PEOPLE'S PETS OFF PORCHES & EUTHANIZING THEM BEFORE THE PEOPLE CAN FIGURE OUT WHAT HAPPENED TO THEIR PETS)

then fuck you entirely, reassess your priorities, & support actual animal welfare & conservation groups.

(If you don't believe me, there's so so so much material on the internet to get sucked into a "holy fuck PETA fucking sucks & is a terrible terrible organization" wormhole)

Okay- I'm just gonna say it.

Steve Irwin was a legend, a family man, a fucking babe, & a hero, he's the one that inspired me to be so spontaneous/impulsive and choose to further my interests in reptiles❤️

Fun fact about me:

I don't take flowers that have been picked. Although they are beautiful, picking it slowly causes it to cease to exist. It's beauty then becomes temporary, and reflects possession. I'll take flowers- as long as it's in a pot of soil, so i can nuture it & watch it grow:)❤️
