I had a close encounter with ZOZO.

I've always believe that Ouija boards for for professionals only. That they were about as deadly as a forklift when you use them wrong. But I've recently met some friends that regularly contact spirits, so I thought it the perfect opportunity to safely explore the supernatural. The first time we used a board, we were writing down the responses on a piece of paper. Everything seemed normal for the first five or six spirits we spoke to, until the last began repeating "NO, NO, N, O, NO, N, O, N, O, N, O, NO" We asked and asked what was wrong, but no coherent answer. We all became unsettled and decided to stop. When we looked at our notepad the next day, we saw that what we thought were random letters, interdispersed between answers, spelled out, "Z O Z O".

The next time we use the board, there was barely any warning. Two or three spirits that refused to speak to us, tell us their names, or why they were there. Only moving to yes when we asked if there was anyone there, and moving to no when we asked if they wanted to tell us their name. In my heart I knew that something was wrong, but my foolish head told me that it was just because we were in a different location than before. The first sign of trouble came when the planchette skated across the lower row of letters. My friend and I shared a look, and when the planchette moved from Z to O to Z again, I went cold. I said, "No. Goodbye". we tried to push the planchette down to close the portal. But just before the edge of the planchette touched the G, some Force pulled the planchette from my friend's hand and pushed it into mine. She gasped and locked her claws around the top of the planchette, yanking it down too goodbye, and pulling the board slightly with it. Needless to say, we packed our things and hightailed it out of there. My friend carrying the board and me stowing the planchette in my pocket. After the initial shock wore off, we discussed what had just happened. It was undeniable.

I know I should be terrified. I am. But I'm also so unequivocally curious.
