Despite Sunny’s total confusion now, he blinks a couple of times and took one of the DJ’s hands in both of his, holding it lovingly. “Okay.” He nods solemnly. Roz looked a little less than ready to give a speech though, and Sunny didn’t want him to get any worse so he gives that hand a squeeze and talks softly, though his mind was in a panic. “Calm down…Take a deep breath. I’ll listen Roz…” He offers a reassuring smile. “I’ll try my very hardest to understand.”
The cheery Elsen had no idea what he was in for, as far as he knew his partner had just been eating something bad, and possibly he had too. Maybe he had to see a doctor now? Who knows. He left his mind open though, thinking he was ready.
Roz took a deep breath like Sunny said before he starting speaking again. "Okay...well.....here goes nothing...." He placed a hand on Sunny's shoulder gently. "I was recently visited by anything elsen named Shiloh....He was saying a few things that I've already been told, it wasn't anything new, so it may have seemed like I was ignoring him, but I wasn't, I've just heard it too many times. Others calling me awful names is something I've had to deal with my whole life, but...then....he told me something I never would have guessed in a million years..." He paused for a bit to take another breath.
"He told me what sugar is made out of and where its made....Its just...so terrible....Enoch is not my uncle he's a monster, he's been using me like a pawn. Using my club as an extra sugar factory for his own personal gain!" He dreaded having to tell Sunny this, but it was the truth and Sunny had the right to know, he was done staying in the dark.
"When elsen die they are thrown in an incinerator and produced into sugar...some elsen die after burning-- Enoch has had me play my music loud enough so those elsen who can't handle it...burn..." He cringed and let his hand fall from Sunny's shoulder. "I feel so utter guilty....I have to close down my club...he won't be allowed to continue this horror...I won't let him....I can't...." Tears started to roll down his cheeks as he waited for Sunny's reaction.
