March 21, 2016: I remember hearing the saying, "Quitters never win and Winners never Quit" many times as I was growing up. Though, no matter how many times I heard it, I was never a firm believer of the saying. The reason why is because I quit many things in my life that helped me progress into the person I am now. In reality, Winners quit. They quit all the time. They quit their bad habits They quit Complaining. They quit Blaming others for their mistakes. They quit comparing. They quit judging. They quit procrastinating. They quit being negative. They quit surrounding themselves with the wrong people. And most of all, They quit making excuses. Understand that the HIGHEST paid major is LEADERSHIP. Without Leadership, you will not succeed in your field of work. You can go to school for 12 years, graduate with a Ph.D., Have the Best grades in your class, BUT I can promise you this if you have NO Leadership ability you will not go very far. Keep in mind that Leadership doesn't mean you know how to Manage people. Managing people will only have them do the bare minimum just to get the job done. No one likes being Managed. TRUE Leadership means you know how to Influence an organization and be able to lead them in the right direction. Only Influence will bring out everyone's full potential.
