100 Years of Malcolm X Legacy🕊️
Today marks a century since the birth of El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz — Malcolm X — a man whose legacy still echoes loudly through time.
To me, Malcolm X is more than an icon. He is a pillar — a poster child of what it looks like to evolve, to grow, and to get a second chance. His transformation is proof that redemption and purpose can coexist, and that greatness is not about where you start, but how you choose to rise.
Malcolm’s speeches were poignant and poetic. The cadence in his delivery remains unmatched — intentional, fiery, and always piercing. He moved crowds with more than just words; he spoke truth to power with rhythm and conviction.
I’ve always admired the principles he lived by: dignity, equality, discipline, and faith. He believed that everyone was equal because God made them equal — not because man granted it. He believed in self-defense, in speaking plainly, and in meeting force with the same force when justice demanded it.
He was bold. Courageous. Studious. Curious. A leader in every sense. His voice still teaches us today.
As he once said:
“The future belongs to those who prepare for it today.”
