//Ironically, Muddler’s parent situation mirrors Sniff’s before he reunited with him!! Muddler was lost by his parents at a very young age but he was found by Hodgkins who has looked over his nephew ever since. He does feel that no kid should be without a parental influence of some sort in their life and has been trying to be the best dad he can be to Sniff as a result to make up for the times that he couldn’t.

Joxter purred in contentment. he always meant it, but he knew the Muddler had insecurities, he knew he needed to be reminded, and Joxter didn’t mind saying it again and again if he had to. “Of course I mean it!” he cooed, pressing the Muddler closer to him “I’ll always mean it” he added, rubbing the muddler’s arm affectionately as he did so. “There will never be a time I won’t mean it”

He smiled sheepishly and even to began to grin a little, his face still as bright as a cherry. “ That means so much to me, Jox, I don’t know if you realise that, ” he said in a soft voice, curling up while clinging tightly to the joxter. His tail continued to excitedly beat against the ground beneath the pair. He clutched onto his warm cheek and pressed the rest of his face into the other’s side, “ Please never leave me here alone, all right? ”
