DLQ
You can now set a dead-letter queue (DLQ) to an Amazon Simple Notification Service (SNS) subscription to capture undeliverable messages.
A dead-letter queue (DLQ), sometimes referred to as an undelivered-message queue, is a holding queue for messages that cannot be delivered to their destination queues, for example because the queue does not exist, or because it is full. The dead-letter queue handler searches the rules table for a rule where the pattern matches a message on the DLQ. The default Dead Letter Queue in ActiveMQ is called ActiveMQ.DLQ ; all un-deliverable messages will get sent to this queue and this can be difficult to manage.
The DLQ series (DLQ72, DLQ96, DLQ144 and DLQ192) has been phased out and is no longer for sale.
