I really can't quite wrap my head around the "beastman and merfolk are considered human" thing— not becuz the fact they're considered human is confusing, but just becuz... ok, how are you meant to refer to the non-beastman/merfolk humans? the ones that are like irl humans? it doesn't make much sense to differentiate beastman and merfolk into seperate categories of human while having the 3rd category just be called... human.... it's just so confusing for me -_-
