The sign of high quality is the fact the book was banned by the government. Trash literature NEVER EVER had any troubles with the law.

Learn to go with the flow of life , that doesnāt mean to aimlessly drift through life , just not resist it , but instead work with what it presents you , itās all for your benefit , although in the moment we donāt always see that , the universe has your best interests at heart , hold that thought always , and live in alignment with it , itās aligning with the universal energy that creates the planets and the stars !

Men are disturbed not by the things that happen, but by their opinion of the things that happen. - Epictetus
4. If the car pulls up to you run in the opposite direction.
5. Walk with your keys in your hands and keep a key between each finger
6. If they put you in the trunk kick out the headlights
7. If you get lost find a woman with a child. Never ask a man for help (this one was drilled)
That scream fire piece of advice is literally life saving
8. Watch your shadows and reflections, especially if someone is walking behind you. A split second notice is better than none and will help you.
Yes this last one really saves lives y'all I do it all the time
#7 is very telling
#9 if you are ever kidnapped or you think that youāre about to be murdered scratch and scratch. Get his DNA under your nails. That way he will be caught if something happens to you
#if youāre trapped in a car and you think youāll be killed. Leave a piece of yourself there. A fingernail, some hair, anything that can place you there.
Are your cognitive attributions affecting how you see others & yourself? (Pt.1)
What is an attribution?
Itās a mental š§ process we use to determine why a behavior has occurred.
2 types of attributions:
Disposition: these are internal factors.
For example: Jason didnāt come to the meeting because he is lazy š.
Situational: these are external factors.
For example: Jason didnāt come to the meeting because he is sick š¤ .
Types of biases:
Based on those two types of attributions. We can create biased š¤ conclusions.
1. Fundamental attribution error: we attribute the behavior of others to internal factors (disposition) while minimizing external factors (situational)
For example: Thinking Amanda didnāt come to work because she is lazy. When the truth is she was in a car crash and ended up in the hospital š„ due to injuries.
Problem: this type of attribution is unfair to others. We never know what they might be going through. We should give each other the benefit of the doubt before judging.
2. Actor-observer effect: we attribute the behavior of others to internal factors. While attributing our own to situational factors.
For example: Luis didnāt pass the test š because he is lazy & didnāt study, but I didnāt pass it because I had a migraine š¤.
Problem: not only is this unfair to others, but this attribution can take away our power to control situations. In some cases it can be used as an excuse to dismiss your real behavior in situations.
4. Self-service prejudice: the tendency to attribute internal factors to our success, while attributing external factors to our failures.
For example: I didnāt pass the math class because the teacher š©āš« was against me, but I did pass music šø because I practiced a lot.
Problem: although situational factors can affect the outcome of a situation. This type of attribution is mostly used to dismiss our own maladaptive behaviors.
We all have used these attributions in our life. It isnāt helpful to attribute external factors to our internal ones. Sure, situational factors in our daily life can & will affect our behavior. But that doesnāt mean we should use it as an excuse for our maladaptive behaviors. Itās okay to take responsibility for our actions. Not only that but, quickly judging others isnāt fair to them either.
5 Types of Boundaries š āāļø
Mental š§
You are allowed to have your own thoughts, beliefs & opinions. If someone doesnāt agree with you then the both of you can agree to disagree respectfully.
Time / Energy ā°
This type of boundary revolves around time, favors, & the appropriate time to contact you. For example, if your friend is going to be late they should let you know on time.
Emotional š
It is important to have boundaries around topics you arenāt willing to discuss and for others to not throw at you all their problems when you arenāt emotionally available. For example, stating, āI am beyond stressed today, are you available for me to discuss with you what happened?ā
Physical š«
This type of boundary involves physical proximity and unwanted comments regarding your physical appearance. This also includes sexual comments. For example, saying, āI donāt like your comment, Iād appreciate it if you donāt say that again.ā
Material š
This type of boundary sets limits on how and when your possessions should be used. For example, not giving your social media password to your boyfriend / girlfriend.

Decision Making Tip
Decision making can be overwhelming. This tip will help you prioritize.
Step # 1:
Grab a piece of paper š and draw the image above.
Step # 2:
In the āUrgent & Importantā square write down deadlines š and scheduled things you need to do.
Step # 3:
In the āNot Urgent but Importantā square write down personal things that are important to you, such as, goals š and hobbies.
Step # 4:
In the āUrgent but Not Importantā square write down things that you need to do, but you find boring or unimportant. For example, running errands and cleaning š§¹.
Step # 5:
In the āNot Urgent & Not Importantā square write down things and situations that distract you. For example, social media and television šŗ.
Once you finish evaluate the things you need to do:
1. āUrgent & Importantā tasks should be done right away.
2. āNot Urgent & Not Importantā tasks should be postponed.
3. āNot Urgent but Importantā tasks should be done quickly after you finish the tasks you need to do right away.
4. āUrgent but Not Importantā tasks can shared between people. For example, maintaining a clean house. One person can be in charge of the kitchen, while the other works in the back yard.
