Please remember this – when we find each other, I know that you want me to wholeheartedly believe that you are worth it and believe me, there is nothing more that I want than to love you without apprehension.  But please don’t ask me to bring down my walls. You don’t ask a person whom you love to hurt herself to prove her love. Please love me in all my guarded glory and create a customized love that does not need to break down walls but instead, flies over each and every one of them to get through the real me – raw and bleeding, vulnerable and forgiving. My heart may be a fortress but your love is its key. Get here.
