I've been knitting a thing! I've immediately gone off in to the deep end and decided to do an irregular double knit scarf, which has been a lot of fun to work on.

It's a self-drafted pattern for the 9 skulls of the houses from the Locked Tomb book series. With four panels completed so far, I'm happy to say that this project has been accepted in to the Desert Bus 2026 Craft-a-long, and will be available as a price of some sort during this years run.

Five for tradition and debts to the dead

And that's me past the half way mark! 9 of the panels now exist in either black or white and I couldn't be happier with how they look. Four more panels to go, and not a lot of time left, I'll be picking up the pace a bit to get this done in time

And immediately after finishing my first project, I'm ready to start a new one!

I've recently been on a Hollow Knight binge again, so I'll be stitching a scene from that game, Quirrel and the Knight sitting on the edge of the blue lake.

This project will be 191x115 stitches on 18ct aida, using 19 colours (when posting this I noticed I'm one colour short, I must have missed something while picking up the floss) and following this pattern by BorealisStitch.

Hey all!

I just finished my first cross stitching project, and decided to make this little space to collect my future projects, and to have a spot to share progress updates.

The piece above is a cross stitch kit by docrafts. It's a 93x94 stitch circle of a black cat on the night sky, stitched on the 14ct Aida that came with the kit.
