ABOUT TYLER: Let's find a park, let's kill a bottle. It's a start if there's a spark.
Growing up Tyler was rarely seen in class, better spotted outside behind the bleachers smoking between classes. On the occasion he was at his desk, you'd find him tapping different rhythms into the wood as the clock ticked closed to dismissal. He quickly gain popularity, his overall demeanor catching the eye of a few women that would turn into meaningless relationships lasting a duration of a different amount of months. Tyler's focus was music, his father being a successful producer practically etched his path in stone. He wouldn't of imagined his focus distracting him to the point of staying back his senior year, but if you asked Tyler fate had other plans for him. That repeated year landed him as the drummer in Vicious Apparition, though he could of blamed that for really connecting with Nadine at a house party. The two had always been friends, subtle nods in passing in the hallway but this party really kick started everything the man has always wanted.
Fast forward to present day and the band is still going strong, though he could disagree with some of the things public relations wanted to achieve, Nadine was aware of his feelings and that wasn't something that was going to change. He's been enjoying living his dream and getting to stay in his home town, recently reuniting with his friend Brodie and moving in together. The pair is thick as thieves and they can't seem to stop messing with the other, their relationship making his music that much more fun. Sure there's always the lurking feeling that he needs to live up to his father's expectations, though Tyler is determined to pave his career himself — he doesn't want his future handed to him on a silver platter.
"I know I was thinking the same thing. I really should her didn't I?" Emerson asked shaking her head a bit. "Yes it was those sad big eyes. I couldn't say no to that cute face. I just had some thoughts that have been in my head. Have you ever seen that one Spongebob episode? I just wanted to get them on paper to see if anything was worth expanding on."
"I think she learned her lesson." Tyler teased before nodding his head. "You said yes and she's happier because of it, I think you did what anyone would do in that situation." He continued, laughing at her mention of Spongebob. "Is that the one where he's trying to write the essay and he's stuck on one word or is there one I'm forgetting?"
Lennon couldn’t help but huff a bit, “I’m a doctor so I don’t think my patience would appreciate me carrying around a dog” she laughed lightly before sitting it back down, “If I could I would”.
"I think you underestimate how happy everyone would be if you walked in with a dog." He laughed. "Dogs are the ultimate therapy, might even cure some of those pesky doctor's visit nerves that people get." Tyler shrugged his shoulders. "I'm not seeing a downside here."
It was Carmen's day off and she was excited to spend her day at the beach doing some yoga under the bright sun with the sound of the waves then going for a dip right after. It had been a while since she had taken the time to hang out at the beach alone. She usually spent most of her time at work either she was scheduled or she wanted to. But all that stress that had built up was now slowly disappearing.
As she bent over to position herself in downward facing dog pose, she kept it for a few minutes, stretching her legs. It wasn't long until she noticed someone was standing before her, blocking out some sun but that didn't cause her to shift positions. "Are you just gonna stand there and stare or are you gonna say something?" She questioned.
"Sorry for staring..." If he was honest it took him a few minutes to figure out exactly what she was doing until he got closer, yoga just looked awkward. "Do you usually come down to the beach to do yoga? I don't think I've ever ran into you before." Surely this downward position would of stuck out to him on more than one occasion. His eyes glanced down to his see shadow displayed on her mat, pausing for a moment before stepping off to the side. "Didn't realize I was blocking your sun, you'll have to forgive me for that."
“Every time I am around a puppy I just want one!” Lennon gushed looking down at the baby. “Should I get one! No, I’m never home… But should I! I would be such a good dog mom” she pouted as she continued talking to the person in front of her.
"If you ask me you should just do it." Tyler said with a brief shrug of his shoulders. "What's stopping you from getting a small dog and just bringing them around with you everywhere?" He questioned. "What do you do for work?"
It was a beautiful day out and Emerson wanted to be outside enjoying the weather. Moving back home had also inspired her to write. She had a few ideas for her next book and wanted to get her thoughts down to see if there was anything there or if it was just a bunch of gibberish. Emerson was currently sitting down at the cafe's patio with her laptop opened. "I told her no pup cup." Her being a one year old pug named Tinkerbell, who in that moment was chowing down on a pupcup. "When Tinkerbell realized I didn't get her anything she had the audacity to mope around." When she took the very first sip of her iced Latte, Emmy could feel the pug give her bombastic side eye.
"I see that went over well..." He told her with an amused look on his face before motioning over to said dog in question. He brought his americano up to his lips, slowly taking a sip before looking over at her again. "The moping really got to you didn't it?" He teased, though he knew the puppy dog eyes would of gotten him as well. "What are you working on?"
"The surprise in their eyes when they figure it out might be worth it.” Tyler responded with an amused shrug. “The burning won’t last forever, but your satisfaction will. I don’t really see a downside of this plan unless you’ve got a lingering guilty conscience.”
