"Well, he's in a band. Rock musician, so I figured something like that might be a good choice," Kendra explained, thinking of Chance. He was a good friend after all and they had been talking about his band last time she ran into him. "I'm not very knowledgeable about music, so I need all the help I can get."

"Okay good start! Let's head over to the rock section. We've got endless amount." She made her way to the rock aisle. "So these are broken down to sub genres of rock like heavy metal, blues rock, alternative, grunge. Which type does he typically listen to?" She asked as she goes through the vinyls. "Personally, this is my favorite band." She pulled out a Sleep Token: Take Me Back To Eden vinyl. "They're great."

"You know I'd rather spend my day here with you cleaning up messes than on my own, being bored, especially if I don't have anything else to do," he commented with a shrug, considering that half the job sometimes at the clinic was cleaning up after animals and people alike. Chance knew his way around a mess, but he knew that it was not what anyone wanted to do with their time. "You tell them, you break their hearts and mine. I mean, you already do with how you just keep me at a distance, but I don't know if anyone would survive that truth," he joked as he started in some of the newer releases section. Chance shrugged once more. "I've got the weekend off from work, which means we've got more time for auditioning a new drummer in the band. Hopefully we find someone soon."

"Oh i know do and it still surprises me to this day that you're not bored yet being here with me. Maybe i should start putting you to work with how often you come by. Oh you know that's not a bad idea." she thought to herself. "Since you're here, you can help me unpack these boxes. Starting with this one. I need this by the last aisle." she pats the heavy box. "I only keep you at a distance because you're a flirt." she added, making her way over to said aisle. "A weekend off? You should be out having fun and doing whatever else you enjoy doing."

Well so much for hoping she wouldn't recognize her. Maia sighed while immediately putting her hands up in surrender. "Look I'm not looking for trouble. I promise. I just want a record player and I'll be out of your hair." There wasn't a whole lot of times that Maia actually felt guilty after a con but this was one of those times. "Please don't call the cops. I know things didn't exactly turn out expected last time but I really am sorry."

Sophia narrowed her eyes at Maia, "And i'm suppose to believe you? After that, i cant believe a single word that comes out of your mouth." she responded. She slipped her phone into her pocket and crosses her arms, "I'm suppose to believe that you suddenly had a change of heart and now are here to buy a record player. I can't trust your words at all."

as a dj, aileen was always looking for new music. both to listen to, expanding her horizons, or to add to sets, increasing popularity. they headed into sunset sounds, their favorite place to find new music. "no worries," aileen called, perusing the shelves of music on her own. the store smelled different today. wondering what it was, aileen followed the scent's trail to find a worker wiping up a spilled drink. gesturing to it, they said, "people can be so rude."

"Tell me about it. It just makes you look bad for making the mess and leaving someone else to cleaning it up." she sighed, glancing up at the other. "is there something you are looking for? I can get it for you when im done here." she offered before cleaning up the last of the mess.

"Well I find it very rude to do. I'm sure you're more upset about it because they didn't tell you rather than if they had," Kendra noted, frowning at the idea someone would just run off. But she let the woman finish cleaning up, browsing around some other sections instead. "I'm starting my holiday shopping early, so I'm looking for some good options for music lovers or people who are like in a band. Any good suggestions?"

Sophia listened to Kendra as she explained what she wanted. "No problem. its always best to know what kind of music genre they like. Anything from jazz to rock to country. We have endless kinds. we can start with one friend and family and see what music genre they like and go from there?"

Ripley tried to hide her pout, knowing that she was looking ridiculous, and instead just nodded. "That's true. I'm sorry you lost your ice cream too. So much good gone to waste." She shook her head slightly in mourning. "This was just the cherry on top of a bad day honestly. But yeah let's both get another one, maybe strength in numbers would work out better for both of us."

Reina smiled and turns to head in, "Well if you want while we got some more ice cream, and if you're comfortable with it, you can talk about why you had a bad day." she offered, opening the door for them and walking back to the ice cream selection."

Logan wiped at her shirt, the stain from the ice cream was barely noticeable considering that she was sure there was more dog hair and dirt on her clothes from rooting around in the apartment all day. She was trying to declutter things from the move, seeing too many that reminded her of a worse time so she was planning to purge plenty of those memories as soon as possible. "As long as you don't mind me not drinking. I'm not really in the mood for alcohol to mess with this mood of mine, but I'd love the company. Maybe some apps too," she added, hoping that the other wouldn't ask why she of all people was passing up drinks. Not yet anways.

Logan was passing up drinks. That was a first and Reina was curious as to why. What had Logan turning down drinks? She wasn't going to ask or push but she hoped that Logan would feel comfortable enough to tell her. "No drink is fine! And apps sounds delicious." she chuckled. "Listen whatever it is that's bothering you, i'll help you not think about it tonight." she linked arms with Logan.

Kendra had started her gift buying for the holiday season. While not a lot of her friends were celebrating Hanukkah, she still liked to give gifts to the people she loved. Sunset Sounds seemed like the perfect place to look for some gifts, so she had headed inside. "Damn. How rude is it to just leave a mess like that," Kendra stated as she saw the mess. "Is there anything I can do to help?"

"Its okay, i'm about done. Sorry that you have to see this. I appreciate it though. You may look around to find what you need while i finish up. Then you'll have my full attention." she said, giving the other a smile. She finished up quick, washed up and returned to the other. "okay, how can i help?"

“No rush, it’s just me!” Nathaniel called as he entered the store. He wandered to the front counter and set down a cup holder that had two iced drinks. He eyed the magazine that was left open on the counter, trying to make out what Sophia had been reading when he realized he had not seen her. Nathaniel turned around. The aisles of records were not that tall, he should be able to see her. Her voice had sounded too close for her to be hiding in the back. “Are you in the back?” he called anyway, just to be sure.

Sophia recognized the voice and popped her head out from the side of the aisle. "Nope, im here!" she responded with a wave. "Just finishing this mess that was made." She quickly finished and tosses out the trash following by washing her hands. She saw the drinks on the counter. "Are one of those for me? because if so, i'd marry you right now." she said in need for a cold drink.

Maia was actually surprised she wanted to stay in Denver for so long, usually she wouldn't be in one place but she could see herself staying for a while. So she decided to splurge and buy something she always wanted: a record player. Walking into the store she was overwhelmed already with so many choices, luckily someone called out to her. "No worries! I just have some questions." The voice sounded familiar but Maia figured she may have seen her around town. Following the voice, Maia stopped in her tracks once she saw who it actually was. It was too late for her to turn around and pretend like it didn't happen so Maia's best bet was to pretend like nothing was wrong between the two of them, praying to anything out there that the other wouldn't recognize her.

Sophia finished cleaning the mess finally and lets out a deep sigh as she stood up to see who had walked in. When her eyes fell on the sight of the woman before her, bad memories began reeling in her head. Anger washed over her as she frowned at Maia. She recognized her almost immediately. The woman that conned her and almost costing her job. "You! What the hell are you doing here?" she said in a harsh tone. "I'm giving you three seconds to leave before i call the cops on your ass." she threatened, grabbing her phone from her pocket.

"I'd ask if you wanted some help but I think I got here a bit too late," he called out as the other had already walked away into the back. Chance knew what it was like to have to clean up after adults, people who were supposed to be fully capable of taking care of shit, and didn't. "Next time. I've got your back next time." His grin was borderline obnoxious before he moved around towards Sophia as he glanced at some of the boxes of records before looking back at her. "I stopped by to see if anything new came in that I might not have back at the apartment, you know? But I also came to see you, always. You know you're the best part of this place to me. Don't tell the others though," he added with a joking laugh. "How've you been?"

"I appreciate it. next time this happen, i should make the customer clean it. Im not their mother. And if you were to help, you'd probably be here all day with me waiting for something to happen. You'd be bored." she said, starting to organize the counter a bit. "Well since you're here now, you can take a look through the boxes while i start stocking the shelves." She stopped at his comment and raised a brow, "I can't promise that i won't tell the others." she continued with cleaning of the counter before she could proceed with the boxes. "Busy as always. You know me, if i'm not here, i'm working at my other jobs. What about you?"

Sophia looked up at the other and gave him a small smile, "Oh its okay, i'm basically done at this point. I appreciate the offer though. Give me a few minutes and i'll help you out." she quickly cleaned up the last of the mess then head to the back to toss out the napkins, washed her hands and returned. "So what can i help you with?"

"A date? I wish." Noah laughed lightly and shook his head. He never really seemed to have time for anything like that, but it was his own doing, he could rearrange his schedule if he really wanted to. Aside from the occasional gardening job, he really did make up his own hours the majority time. "Just rushing from one job to another," he admitted with a shrug and playfully raised brow. "Sorry about your ice-cream. You want another?"

"I see." she chuckled quietly. "Good to know you're not someone who'd be late to dates." she said playfully having her own share of those dates. "I'd say yes but i can get a new one. i don't wanna keep you from getting to your next job. Don't wanna make you late. I'd feel bad if you were late because of me." she said with a laugh.

Julian squinted at the small bag in his hands, trying to make out the text in the back. The employee at Cloud 9 had been helpful but Julian didn’t want to bother them with too many questions. Distracted by the text on the bag, he wasn’t looking where he was going and only looked up when he felt someone bump into him. His eyes snapped up and he clutched the small bag to his chest, like he’d been caught doing something wrong. Something splattered on the ground, Julian dodging out of the way to avoid getting it on his shoes. Ice cream, Julian realized just as the sad little voice of the person who had dropped it reached his ears. “Reina!” He had not expected to run (or bump) into anyone he knew here, so he was surprised to see her. Quickly he pushed the small bag into his pocket and out of sight. “No, I’m good, don’t worry. I’m sorry about your ice cream.” Most of it had ended on the floor, from the looks of it. “Should we get another? My treat.”

"Julian!" she wasnt expecting to bump into Julian. She felt a little better that it wasn't some stranger that she had run into .Reina waved off the apologize that wasn't needed. "It's all good, its just ice cream but i wouldn't mind getting another though you wouldn't mind if i waited out here right if you got it? I don't want them think im getting some more ice cream. Pretty please?" she said with a sheepish smile.

Today was not Ripley's day. It felt like everything she touched fell apart in some way or another. She had decided to treat herself with some ice cream, she didn't care if the weather was getting colder, Ripley needed something to cheer her up dammit. After getting her favorite, brownie and peanut butter bits in chocolate ice cream, she turned to find a seat to enjoy it. Only to run into someone and drop her most prized possession in this moment. "NO!" Ripley shouted dramatically as she watched it fall in slow motion. "Oh this is so not my day." She said mostly to herself. She looked up at the other person and shook her head. "No no, I'm okay. I should have looked where I was going I'm so sorry."

Reina looked down at both ice creams that were now splattered on the ground. Both their luck was not so good at that moment. She glanced at the other who looked like she had a long day. "Hey hey, its okay! it's just ice cream, its all good! You're not alone losing your ice cream." she said with a chuckle. "Why don't you and I go in and get some new ones. Looks like you could really use some to help you feel better." she offered with a smile.

"You're good, this isn't the worst thing that I've had spilled on me recently. I doubt it'll be the last either," she countered smoothly as she glanced back over at her friend with a half smile. "I'm sorry about your ice cream. Do you want to go back in and I'll buy you a new one? It's the least I could do." Logan hadn't been paying attention enough, her mind somewhere else while she walked in hopes that she could find a solution to some of the many problems that now face her by the time that she made it back to where she was staying currently.

Reina looked up at her friend and shook her head, "nah it's okay. It wasn't meant to be." she said shrugging as she lets out a small laugh as she gave her some napkins for any spilt ice cream on you. "if you're not too busy, wanna get drinks instead?" she suggested. "Those kind of sounds better at the moment. My treat after running into you and spilling some ice cream on you." she offered.

It wasn't uncommon that Chance was spotted at Sunset Records, practically living there if Bianca would let him despite his own apartment. However when he had a spare moment or two, then he was there looking through the latest selections that they'd just gotten in with the hope of finding something new. However, when Chance walked in there wasn't anyone that he could see, only hear them call out from behind one of the aisles. Chance grinned when he peered over, seeing Sophia on the ground cleaning up what looked to be the last of a mess. "You good down there, Barnes?"

Sophia didn't even have to look up to match a face to the voice. "Oh I'm great. I'm having so much fun cleaning up after a grown child." she responded with a sarcastic tone, wiping up the last of it. She stood up and went to toss out the remains of the mess before going to wash her hands in the back. Returning to the front, she lets out a quick breath and looks over at Chance. "What brings you in Chance?"
