It is an amazing thing, it is significantly more than average! Producing such a high volume does come at a cost though as the body priorities milk production it will pull the nutrients from my body, calcium for example, if I haven’t consumed enough calcium in my diet my body will pull the calcium from my bones. Then of course there’s the energy my body uses to just produce the milk, the 2.2 litres of milk my body produces is equivalent to roughly 1,600 calories (the equivalent of a double quarter pounder with cheese, medium fries, medium coke and 6 McNuggets).

What's your thoughts on lacation when fully dressed?

It really depends on the clothing. I find breast pads annoying so I rarely wear them but in doing that I put myself at risk of leaks showing. I’ve found that if I wear a patterned top it’s not as noticeable as if I were to wear a plain top. Then I also have to consider if I can comfortably pump in the clothes. For me, any clothing other than pjs is a pain 😅
