Akito storms in front of Ena's doorway, scowling at them with an incredibly grouchy expression, his raised tail a telltale sign of his anger.

"oi, ena! did you eat the last slice of cheesecake or what? i was saving that for later today!"

Akito scowls and looks away, as if realizing the truth of her statement but refusing to admit it.

"...er, well, you're the only one who likes cheesecake more than me!"

He scratches at the back of his neck at the weakness of his argument.

"...guess i might not be used to living with other people. it used to be just the two of us back...home, i guess."

"but if it was you who ate the cheesecake, i'm gonna eat all the pancakes, you hear me??"

He points a finger at her accusedly, but his expression no longer holds malice.

Whatever you say. How much pancakes do you think you can eat though?

Akito's deadpan, determined stare tells you he's 100% serious, even if the validity of his statement is very questionable.

"okay, sure. you're buying them though."

"damn... and here i was hoping i could really trick you into buying me 100 pancakes. you can sure be pretty easy to fool sometimes."

Akito cups a hand to his ear, having missed whatever Ena had muttered under her breath. His hearing probably should have been better for a dogfolk, but he simply supposed it was the constant exposure to loud noises throughout his life that had whittled down his originally sharp hearing.
