ヤバイ!RADIO THE GAZETTE TRANSLATION (2016.05.06) #2(1)
*Question from fan: Good evening! I heard that you guys missed a flight, and I became worried. Can you please explain that in detail?*
Kai: Oh yeah, there was that incident…
Ruki: Should I say this? Well, this was when we were trying to catch a transit flight to Toronto from the Dallas airport. We just barely made it huh?
Kai: Yeah, we got there at the last minute. Well, we arrived there about an hour before the flight. But we were told that the members should go first and check in. Then we had our luggage taken from the staff so that we could rush over. At the time, we were with Kusaka-kun (a staff member) and the manager. We were in the middle of the line, but they were at the end.
Ruki: Right, they stayed back a little because of our luggage. I was like, “Oh crap, they’re in the back. Isn’t that bad? We’re going to be cut off!”
Kai: Right, just barely. The plane was still docking and we were thinking, “We can still get on board, we can still make it!”. Kusaka-kun kept saying “Please, please!”. And right when we felt like we were going to be allowed to get on, we got—
Ruki: —cut off…
Kai: —from the plane.
Ruki and Kai: Ahhhhh…
Ruki: And I thought “Now we’re done for”
Kai: We were like “Now it’s impossible…”
Ruki: *jokingly* And then we started to look for a ticket back to Narita…
Ruki and Kai: AHAHAHAHAHAHA
Ruki: We’ve had situations where we had to cancel lives or couldn’t attend them for other reasons, but I never imagined to miss a plane flight (and possibly have to cancel a show).
Kai: International airports don’t wait for you do they?
Ruki: Yeah, they don’t..
Ruki: Well, thankfully, we didn’t have to cancel the Toronto show because there was another flight afterwards, but we had to wait for 5 hours for the next flight. But we somehow made it, so I was glad. Now that I think about it, I get irritated
Ruki and Kai: AHAHAHAHA

*Question from fan: Good evening! I heard that Kai-san is quite popular, not only in Japan, but more so with international fans. How is your experience with them?*
Kai: Honestly, on the contrary, I don’t get told much by them. BTW, this is coming from the person himself. I’m not really aware of the popularity.
Ruki:*chuckles*
Kai: I think Reita is the most conscious about these kinds of things *giggles*
Ruki: I don’t know... Are you self-aware about it?
Kai: No. Definitely not. But, I wouldn’t know how to react if a fan was right in front of my eyes.
Ruki: But if you were approached, you would say "your welcome!" and stuff right?
Kai: AHAHAHAHA of course! Of course, of course!
Ruki: But you are pretty popular, right? I wonder why...
Kai: Yeah, I wonder why...
Ruki: Is it because of the way you rally up people?
Kai: Hmmm, I personally don’t think I do that. Reita and Aoi do that more. I think they rouse up the crowd more. Hmmm, why is it me? Well, I don’t hate it and I appreciate it because I’m a worthless leftover anyway…
Ruki and Kai: AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Ruki: Wow, we’re getting a lot of new information today. Apparently, you’re not a real leader, you receive leader’s benefits behind our backs, and you’re popular with the international fans.
Ruki and Kai: AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
٩̋(๑˃́ꇴ˂̀๑)RADIO THE GAZETTE TRANSLATION (2016.05.06) #2(4)
Ruki: This is right before a live concert, so my throat hurts.(*This was recorded before the San Francisco concert)
Kai: Because we talked too much!
Ruki and Kai: AHAHAHAHA
------------
Ruki: You know, I can’t really take showers here (in America).
Kai: I agree! I really can’t! AHAHAHA
Ruki and Kai: AHAHAHHAHA
Kai: Because I get nervous/ surprised!
Ruki: Right, right!
Ruki: Today, when you took a shower, did the water come from the bottom faucet?
Kai: No, no! It didn’t come out! *giggles*
Ruki: You know, sometimes I wonder if I really am in the shower(like, it's so confusing). Because there are 2 places where the water comes out right? There’s this normal looking nozzle above you and a mysterious looking faucet on the bottom.
Kai: AHAHAHAH yeah!
Ruki: I was twisting and turning the knob that was NEXT to the faucet, right? Then, you would expect the water to come out of there, but no. I got the room wet, because the water came out from above all of a sudden and wet my hair!
Ruki and Kai: AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Kai: Me too! You wouldn’t expect it to come out of the nozzle because the knob is next to the bottom faucet!
Ruki: I was so surprised and felt stupid afterwards.
Kai: AHAHAHA! I never expected the water to come out of there, never.
(ノಠ ∩ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻RADIO THE GAZETTE TRANSLATION (2016.05.06) #2(3)
Ruki: You know, we are a visual kei band, so we do our nails and make-up and stuff right?
Kai: Yeah
Ruki: So I’m sometimes told, “He’s gay” and stuff.
Kai: Ehhhh?! Because of the make-up?
Ruki: Yeah, I’m told those kind of things. There are those times. For example, under my Instagram comments, people sometimes put, “Bitch” and stuff.
Ruki and Kai: AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Ruki: I mean, because my clothes are different and are not manly in some people’s point of view.
-------------------
Ruki: But honestly, during lives, I can really see the happiness in our fans. They seem to really enjoy our music, so that makes me very happy. I don’t really care about those other bad things, because the impressions of our fans are the only things that matter to me. And I believe that not everyone thinks negatively like that.
The GazettE’s new single 「UNDYING」 ranks 1st place in 9 countries!
Aoi: aaaahー! I feel the wind of the worldー! Ruki: to know that people listen to our music in so many different countries makes me very happy. I really want to do my best and work from the bottom of my heart to make sure that the music of the GazettE keeps spreading its wings and flies out into the world. Ruki: and with both my eyes still popped out after seeing Yellow Monkey’s setlist, I’m writing to inform you that it is 11:17 pm.

*After The Ripper by The Used song break*
Ruki: Hello, once again this is Ruki—
Kai: with Kai!
Ruki: On RADIO the GazettE from San Francisco. We were pretty noisy while recording, but let’s continue enjoying this without worrying about that.
Kai: Oh, the sewer has arrived!
Ruki and Kai: AHAHAHAHAHA
Ruki: Aoi is here.
Aoi: Hello, good evening~
--------------------------------------
Ruki: *reads a question from fan* Last time, everyone discussed during which time they thought they looked the most cool. Reita said the Zetsu period—
Kai: Zetsu?! I don’t even remember that…
Ruki: I said during the Yoyogi live.
Kai: Ahhh
Ruki: Uruha said that he liked the over the top theme from our 13th anniversary period. And Aoi said every time, every where.
Kai: Aoi’s is so simple.
Ruki and Kai: AHAHAHAHAHA
Aoi: I’ve been thinking ever since, but I liked the VORTEX period
Ruki and Kai and Aoi: AHAHAHAHAHAHAH
Ruki and Kai: Wow, it took you two weeks to come to that conclusion? LOL
Ruki: How about you Kai? When do you think you looked the coolest?
Kai: The period I looked the coolest? Ummmm, DOGMA. The DOGMA period.
Ruki: Ohhhh! Really? Eh….
Aoi: Ehhhh…
Ruki and Kai and Aoi: AHAHAHAHAHAHA
Ruki: How about past concepts/themes?
Kai:I didn’t really like myself in the older concepts/themes
Ruki and Aoi: Really?
Ruki: I want you to research yourself on google.
Ruki and Kai and Aoi: AHAHAHAHAHA
Ruki: morning
Ruki: aah, to think that I'm up at this hour...
Ruki: what is everyone doing? I’m doing nothing.
Ruki: at school, at work, doing your make-up, running, on your honeymoon...
👀
Ruki: I just got a LINE that Aki* started a Twitter account but where is it?
*of Sid/シド
Aoi: ever since I came back, I have been putting a lot of effort into creating a secret hideout. yesterday the (second-hand) speakers that I had only just bought broke! buy cheap and waste your money and you will certainly end up buying it new after all. good morning!
DJ: Do you enjoy the western side of touring rock? I mean, like “sex, drugs, and Rock and Roll”. URUHA: Oh no, we’re not that type of band. We’re very serious about this so we only enjoy the Rock and Roll part.
shout out to the girls that hate their bodies but are trying really really hard to find the beauty and comfort in them because that shit is hard and takes a lot of time and is emotionally exhausting. i’m proud of y'all.
