Another ITV sync! I was just watching the latest episode of The Only Way Is Essex and they played almost all of Coming Up Roses when one of the guys, Junaid, proposed to his boyfriend Joe!
Somebody at ITV likes Louis! Heard a bit Sunflowers and a longer chunk of Last Night in the recent episodes of The Only Way is Essex.

It can't be a coincidence that the friendship cooled just after Nick started dating Mesh.
Possibly Mesh objected to how proprietorial Harry was over Nick, expecting him to drop everything and see him whenever.
I think it probably isn't a coincidence - but that doesn't mean that one caused the other. I think timing makes it particularly unlikely that Nick and Mesh getting together caused any change in Harry and Nick's relationship. (Or rather it might have been the spark - but the prairie must have been pretty dry).
But Nick was giving up the breakfast show - and that was a huge change in his life (and changes like that - often reflect deeper changes that are going on that aren't so visible). I wouldn't be surprised that the connections between changes in Nick and Harry's relationship and Nick and Mesh get together run through what was happening in Nick's life at the time.
what if nick proposed to harry and asked for a real relationship and was turned down. maybe they had an affair in the past and nick thought now that harry is older and more stable, they can give it another go.

Thanks anon. It's a really interesting article in general - and also provides a piece of information that I find really interesting - that the turn around time for vinyl is down to six weeks. Immediately post-pandemic it used to be 9 months.
I did think the phrase 'the manufacturing process may be intruding on the creative process' was totally crazy - and missed that albums are about turning music into a product and the manufacturing process has always been part of that.
What's interesting to me is the different between a nine month wait and a six week wait. It's really clear that with the nine month wait people did just turn it in and there was nothing they could do (except play around with bonus tracks that would be for other formats. My longstanding theory about midnight is that Taylor wasn't sure how she was going to portray her relationship with Joe when she sent the vinyl in and the 3am edition allowed her to reflect how the relationship was).
But when you've only got to turn the thing is six weeks earlier - then it must be really tempting to keep going and keep pushing and keep making music - rather than treat the vinyl like a hard deadline.
Another Louis sync with ITV - a snippet of Sunflowers played in Monday's episode of TOWIE.
That's interesting - and suggests that the singles and probably the whole new album are on the sync database.

It's funny how different it looks seeing it staged. Because it's not like the bits we saw felt wildly personal - but it's so much more bland now. Although it was nice seeing the football goal still there.
