while i'm giving out manga recommendations i highly suggest the works of junji ito for yuri! i know you don't usually read manga but all of his books are horror (typically body horror involving some sort of freakish unexplainable events). most of the stories are standalone so you can really pick any

Welcome to the Literature Club!

This is an ask blog centered around the psychological horror game Doki Doki Literature Club, it is purely meant for fun, so don't get too hung up on the intricacies.

You can ask each girl individually, submit an ask to multiple, or cut to the chase and ask the whole club at once!

However with every ask blog comes rules not to break.

1. Shipping is allowed but NSFW and explicit sexual themes/roleplaying are not. Nor is self-shipping, I.E. don't insert yourself.

2. Role-playing is allowed, even encouraged! But keep it sane, there'll be no wild fantasy plot lines in my ask blog, I just can't keep up with it.

3. Hate asks towards the dokis will be promptly removed, I won't even grace you with an answer there.

4. This blog takes place outside of typical Canon, but still following post-canon events. The girls have their own lives and aren't trapped in a game. Monika is still aware of what she did, but the rest of them aren't.
